Matthew and the entire staff at Square One could not be more friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Worst

Very helpful and friendly but received no receipt and paid with cash. Did not realize this until I got home. I hope that the gift card works.

cut, style and pedicure 9/27/2011

I've been using Square One Salon downtown almost since its opening. The service and staff are excllecent. Angie has been doing my hair and is also excellent. Her assistants are also very good. Cheryl is doing my pedicures and she is excellent also. The new pedicure area is fantastic. The chairs are soooo comfortable and the massager is awesome. I usually try to schedule my appointments on Monday or Tuesday as I know the salon is not as busy as later in the week. I have shared my experience with others and have given gift cards to fund raisers at my church. more

Matt is awesome! I had a question about how to accomplish a certian style and rather than tell me how to do it he showed me by actually giving me the style. He's great! The front desk girl also went out to put change in the metor for me. Love the service! more

The experience of a professional massage was given to me as a birthday gift, one that I will never forget. As a potential customer, you are treated with the highest regard as soon as you walk through the door. I didn't know what to expect since I had never visited an actual Salon & Spa. EVERYONE I met that day was very friendly and had the best attitude I had ever encountered in a business. Carly should know she made me feel like a queen for my birthday. Thank you Carly! more

I started coming to your place about a yr ago when my teenage daughters rcvd a coupon. They both use your salon and now me so you have all 3 of us. A Very good experience and wonderful on my pocketbook-I always have to use new talent. ALWAYS so happy with them! Can I make one small suggestion? Not to overshadow my good words, though. I switched to the downtown salon 2 hair colors ago. Before doing so I specifically asked if i could still write a check as i do in C'ville. I dont even own a credit or debit card n rarely carry over $10 in my purse. Never has been a problem until this past Sat. The gal embarassed me a bit when I attempted to pay with my check. I get the check thing but I really was humiliated in front of the staff and clientelle around the desk. I will now bring cash but my budget is very tight and going to a salong is truly a treat for me. I left my young man a $20 tip and left with my tail between my legs praying no one noticed. Let me emphasize I will come back again and again but my pretty red hair took a bit of a down turn by the time i left. Im sure she ddnt mean to be that harsh about it. more

Every time I visit Square One I leave feeling rejuvinated and refreshed. The staff is professional and friendly. The assistants who wash my hair do a fabulous job and of course Misty is THE BEST hairdresser around. A very classy and well run organization. more

Not so great this time 9/19/2011

I came in for a hair cut, manicure and pedicure, all scheduled well in advance. I was in the Salon for FIVE hours. Shuttled from chair to chair and back again. The services were performed excellently, but the time management wasn't good. The staff said Thursdays are always busy...why? more

Wonderful Spa Experience 9/18/2011

I was in Dayton for business but used to live local. The whole experience was great. From the minute I walked in until I left I was pampered and treated to great customer service. I had been to Square One numerous time when I lived local and even years later they are still the best in Dayton for Spa services. more
