Sono Bello Body Contour Centers - Edina

Ever since I was a kid, my chest and stomach were always my problem areas. I always had to wear large shirts and I found myself crossing my arms constantly just to hide what made me feel ugly. Once I got to college, I started working out regularly. \r It's two weeks last Thursday that I had my legs done. I had my inner & outer thighs, knees and hips done. Maybe a little too much at one time. Recovery has been pretty good. The lumps and bumps they said I would experience are a little more than I had anticipated. Only on the inner thighs though. I've been massaging them daily, drinking lots of water and walking every chance I get. It does seem to be helping. I can see the results and am happy with what I see so far. I can't wait until the 6 month mark to see the final results! I would definitely recommend Sono Bello to any of my friends. more

I can't say enough positive about my experience at Sono Bello, Minneapolis. All of the staff, consultant, nurses and physician were very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. They set realistic expectations and provided a lot of follow up advise every step of the way. They really treat you as a person instead of one of the masses. At my age of 55 I have battled a bulge of some sort ever since I had my first child. Although, when I look back at photos during that time I am now amazed that I really thought I needed to lose weight. Then I had child 2. By now losing weight was a bit tougher, my lifestyle was now busier. I was often too tired to try and make time for exercise and the newest Low-Fat eating habits were all the rage that I could not faithfully follow. Then I had child 3 and am now in my 30's. Losing weight is ALWAYS on my mind, I have done aerobics, jazzercise, health clubs, shakes, pills, books, Atkins, Southbeach, Oprah's diet... whatever was the latest I at least purchased it. However, Life is stressful and FOOD is my comfort! Now at 55 the only way I could drop weight is to do a high protein plan and Zumba.... A week after that I had my inner thighs, knees done. I am now 7 weeks out. Last week my husband and I went on a four day vacation just him and I.... I wore a jean skirt and shorts. He told me I look beautiful, and that it was so nice to see me happy again. Our relationship is better, because I feel better. Because of my age, I think my recovery has been a bit on the high end of normal. I was back to work at day 3, but my legs are just now starting to feel normal. My thighs each had 2.5 pounds of fat removed, and Dr. Volk told me that I would have substantial bruising. Bruising and swelling just need time, and I can now see results that I am SO happy with. I first heard about sono bello on the radio. After having my daughter, I had been trying to loose the weight, I changed my diet, started excercising, and the problem areas remained. I decided to call Sono bello. Best decision I ever made! Chandra & the rest of the staff were very friendly & helpful! I had my procedure about five weeks ago and I'm thrilled my legs aren't touching anymore! Dr. Volk did a great job! Like others, I didn't use the pain pills as they weren't needed. The swelling took a little longer to go down than I thought but once it did, fabulous!!! The entire team at Edina was very helpful! I may go back for my stomach next! more

Where do I start. I thought about contour for about 6 months. Then one day I just called and asked for the earliest time. So I could not back out. Well I don't know why I waited because everyone was so helpful and information that they gave really helped. So I went in and had the contouring done and it was easy and really painless ( I mean not bad pain) I didn't even use the pain pills they gave me. This is the second week and I,m back to excising and riding bike..I sure wished I would have done this when I was younger( I got a waist line ) I know that I will be back to do the bra line. I am 47 and I hated the look of my stomach area. I am comfortable with my body except for that area. KDWB is the radio station I listen too and one of the guy DJ's had something done and so when I got home and checkout the site. I went to the consultation just to check it out. they are honest people and they really care. I knew my stomach area would look better then it did but I never dreamed it would look even better then that! I had the surgery done 3 1/2 weeks ago and am blown away with how it looks and am excited to see what it will look like when I am totally healed. My husband loved how I looked before the surgery but I can tell he really loves how I am starting to look now too (I think he is blown away too). Win for both of us I would say. Like others, I'd been slacking on the working out for a few years due to other commitments, primarily being a full-time single parent. I had tried dieting, but that didn't help with getting rid of the belly fat that had already accumulated over the years. Took me a year to work up the courage to call for a consultation. Finally did and Chandra made what was really a tough personal decision an easy one to make. It's been about 3 weeks so still waiting to see the final results. more

I had the procedure done 8 days ago and I'm feeling GREAT!! Staff is helpfull and know what it's all about!\r I had 5 areas worked on and the results are amazing. From the time I walked in the door for the first consultation till my 1 week post op visit they kept me in the loop as to what to expect and how to work through it. I am a 66 year-old woman with significant wear and tear, but I still care about my appearance. I am overweight by 30 to 40 pounds and I realized I would never again be a size 6 or 8. A more flattering size 12 was my goal. Dr. Volk did an excellent job of contouring my stomach, back, bra line, and flanks. I am still healing, but already I look much better. Everyone involved was super nice and comforting as they took photos in the oh-so-stylish bikini, and follow-up has been excellent. Like others I was skeptical at first, that something that sounded so simple and easy would have such great results. I met with Chandra on my consultation visit; she walked me through the procedure, and I was sold. Everything she said was dead on. Hi - I heard an ad for Sono Bello and figured I'd call to see what it was about. I was pretty skeptical about the procedure and the affordability. I had a consult and became very excited about the possibility of getting rid of my last pounds that I just couldn't lose. I had the surgery and have not regretted it once. I loved the staff, the nurses and Dr Volk. Everyone has been great. They've answered all my questions no matter how many times I ask. They called to check-up on me a couple times following the surgery. They made me very comfortable and also showed they cared and wanted this to be a success just as much as I did. I was a little skeptical of these types of procedures. I told them what I wanted for my body and I was given true expectations. It has been two weeks now and already I am noticing a difference.
