Hi All.\r I really can't say enough about my experience with Sonobello. From the time I walked in to the time of my procedure I was made to feel comfortable and all of my questions were answered in a way that I could understand them and was comfortable with that. I knew exactly what was going to happen and I now couldn't be more delighted with the results. Every day I look in the mirror and have to keep asking myself is that really me? The results were that instantaneous and amazing. My stomach has never been this flat and the banana roll in the back of legs that never went away no matter how hard I worked out is now gone forever! One area of my body that always bothered me, even before having kids, was a little belly pooch that I couldn't seem to get rid of no matter how much I dieted or exercised. I went to Sono Bello to discuss my options. I wasn't sure I wanted to do anything that 'drastic' and was apprehensive about spending a lot of money. Chandra walked me through the process in her office during a consultation. She looked at my body, listened to my story and gave me a solution. I was surprised that 1) the fat would be gone, 2) there was only local and IM pain medication, no general anesthesia and 3) minimal recovery time. It wasn't a fat-cell-shrinking procedure, or muscle toning procedure etc. Seventy percent of the fat in my belly area would no longer be there. I booked it that day. They provided thorough information about what to do a few days prior to the procedure, the day of the procedure and what to expect after the procedure. The day of the procedure I had an oral percocet, a shot of demerol and local anesthetic. The nurse and doctor were very professional and talked to me through the entire thing! Before I knew it, it was finished and I was on my home. I slept most of that day and actually felt good enough to go into work the next day. I didn't use any of the prescription pain medication; just some tylenol and later some motrin. I received follow up phone calls from the doctor and nurse the following day and returned the next week for an office visit. Each day the swelling is a little better and the results are showing! I heard about sono Bello when I was browsing the internet. Found this place and sent them a request. They called me immediately and set up an appointment. I was very nervous but the consultant Lori was so nice she explained everything answered all my questions. and we made an appointment to do the procedure & meet with the doctor. \r \r When I came home and read some of the reviews I freaked out they were so bad so I wanted to forgo the payment and stop the procedure I sent an email to Lori and she called me right back and said first to meet with the doctor and you will feel better and she sent me the link with reviews for Edina that was great so I met with the doctor he was nice I also looked me up did my own research he seemed a nice and a qualified doctor. More than the doctor the nurse was great she made me feel so relaxed that I didnt think twice to go back again for the surgery. When I went in for the surgery again the nursers this time they were great I really felt relaxed even when she gave me the IV she was so concerned that I felt I was in good hands. \r \r The procedure was so much less painful than I expected after my reviews. They have me pain medication and I was mostly unconscious but I felt some pain not unbearable. The doctor and the nurse had explained everything to me before hand so I knew what to expect. I asked for more pain medication and they gave it to me and i was fine. \r \r I got home with a friend that night and went to bed they gave me sheets for the vehicle and also for the bed but I already had prepared my bed before i went for the leakage. I think I woke up late night to go to the bathroom and it hurt then after the medication I went back to sleep.\r \r Next day morning I woke up and felt dissy my husband was there to help me out I cleaned myself went back to bed the worst part was getting into the garment that was wet and yaky that was the bad thing with the whole procedure. If you feel like me that you want a new garment you should order one before you do the procedure. so that you have to to change. I cleaned the incisions places and put new dressing went back to bed. Slept the whole day. I didnt get up expect to go to the bathroom. I am a big baby when it comes to pain I actually exaggerates it a little bit more than what it is I think. I should say I feel the pain more than most people. \r \r The third day I was feeling a lot better and i ha-dent taken the pain medication they gave me but only Ibuprofen. I could walk about go up and down the stairs my leakage has completely stopped which was a good thing and I felt so much better.\r \r The nurse called me the next and also the third day and helped me with all the questions. \r \r I am on my third week I still get all the support from the nurse they call me back as soon as I leave a message helps me out in everything I want to know. They are always very helpful. I am wondering why the people who did those bad reviews what really went wrong. For me it was a very knowledgeable experience. I am so happy I did it. I look great but I still have the numbness and some pain and swelling but as they said it is getting better each day. \r \r They send email every week with how the healing process should work so you are updated with all the information and if you do what they say then it is going to be easy. \r \r The bottom line is I will recommend Sono Bello to anybody who want to do the procedure and who is afraid of doing it like me go for it you will feel so much better after that. Yes you have some pain but I think it is worth it.\r \r I am really happy with the decision I made and I hope you will be too. They are the nicest staff that I have met so far. Joan, 50\r My weight has always been a problem. I would diet, exercise – lose weight, but I always had the spare tire and saddle bags. I always said I was going to get liposuction; however I never found a place that I totally felt comfortable. After 3 kids and 3 cesarean sections, my tummy wouldn't budge. I work out 3-5 days a week and eat healthy but it just wasn't effective for my midsection. I was referred to Sono Bello by a friend of mine who had great results. The staff at Sono Bello was amazing, Dr. Volk is great at what he does. Suzanne, the RN is very helpful and knowledgeable I chose to have my upper and lower abdomen done as well as my waist and hips. While I was at it I also decided to have my inherited double chin removed. I am very happy with the results so far. I can see a dramatic improvement and I'm only 3 weeks out. I consider myself a healthy and active person. But like most people I had areas that just never seemed to conform to the way i wanted through dieting and exercise. I wasn't sure what to expect and was admittedly a little nervous about the process and procedure but Sono Bello was great. Their staff was very friendly and beyond helpful. They answered all my questions and Dr. Volk was awesome. He is very nice and straight forward which i liked. The process was really simple and the pain was minimal. I am 2 weeks post op and i am happy with how i am progressing. The swelling can be annoying but that just comes with the territory and the medication they give you helps to the point that you are comfortable while recovering. I am excited to see how the end result will look in the next couple of months. As someone who was skeptical about the whole lipo/body contouring process i can say with confidence that if this is a procedure you decide to undertake then definitely make Sono Bello your first stop. I came to Sono Bello just above my goal weight. I am healthy and active, but three children had definately done a number on my tummy! I had been looking for a while for a surgeon to lipo my problem areas, but I kept being told I needed a full-on tummy tuck. There was no way I was going to go through that so I had pretty much resigned myself to living with what I had. Simply by chance, I ran across Sono Bello and got a consult right away. After speaking to Chandra and meeting the Doctor, I knew immediately that this was the way to go - and boy was I right!! Yes, I'm overweight. I was always scared to even consider a procedure like this because I'm not one of those exercise freaks who only has that little bitty pudge or love handle that won't go away no matter how much exercise I do. I have been unhappy with my body for a while...and not just being overweight, but its shape as well. I went into Sono Bello not fully knowing what to expect and came out so happy and satisfied it wasn't even funny. I have improved my overall SHAPE, and I'm going to use it as a kickstart to get healthier and lose weight overall. My back rolls are gone, and I am much better proportioned than before. May 10, 2013\r \r Sono Bello Body Contour Center is exactly that...body contouring. I wasn't looking for this as a weight loss but as a new beginning of shaping me into what I can be. After lots of research from different websites and videos about different types of liposuction I finally got up the courage and decided to go in for my free consultation. The staff is so friendly and they really listened to my concerns and they were honest if I was even a candidate to have it done and with what I could expect for my results. I felt so comfortable at my consultation that I actually booked my appointment right there and then to have my chin, inner and outer thighs done as my birthday present. I'm 43 and I've struggled all my life with these problem areas and regardless what I did I never seen the results I was looking for. Dr. Volk you truly have a gift for what you do. I'm currently only 1 week post op and right on track with my results at this point. I wept with joy over the results I am already seeing. For the first time in my life my inner thighs do not touch/rub together when I walk. Sono Bello was the most amazing experience and best decision I made. I had my waist, abs and hips done April 19th and 5 days later my inner and outer thighs. The procedures were painless and the staff were so nice. I felt comfortable and at ease. Today is 3 weeks post op for my waist, abs and hips and 2 weeks post op for my inner and outer thighs. I have felt fabulous and would encourage anyone getting these procedures done to make sure you drink, drink and drink plenty of water to get rid of the fluid because there is a great amount of swelling. I woke up this morning and put on my size 6 pants and can't believe that this is only the beginning of what will occur over the next 3-6 months. My stomach is flat, muffin top and 'saddle bags' gone. I still have swelling but I can already see a difference. I am now up to 3 miles of brisk walking with intermittent running. So exercise is another key element for recovery. I recently had laser liposuction done at Sono Bello. Post 1 week after my surgery, I cannot tell you how amazed and happy I am with the results! I was very anxious and concerned about the procedure, but Iet me be the first to tell you how Sono Bello made me feel from my first consultation. They were professional, caring and attended to my every question, concern and listened to me. Dr. Volk only treated me with professionalism, dignity and respect. He is fantastic! More importantly, they were honest with me. The procedure was amazing! (I guess, I was even giggling at one point) And let me tell you, I was so nervous prior to the surgery.
