Simply The Best 8/31/2010

I have been a Sky monthly member for years and would like to say that there service and attention to detail is tremendous. Actually I enjoy the amenities( complimentary lab top computers, newspapers and big screen tvs for viewing) so much I sometimes forget that I'm getting my car washed !!! The staff is very attentive and polite and always ask if I'm satisfied with the service. As a side note( after reading other post) I find it quite funny that somebody would complain about being charged after they get a free month if they do not take the time to call in and cancel( it is your responsibility as the customer to do this). I actually was gone for 6 months a couple of years ago so I called to cancel my monthly charge and SKY cancelled it instantly and when I returned I signed up again with no problem. ( I can not say the same thing about a local Gym in the area). I only let Sky wash my car !!! more

SIX STARS!!! 8/31/2010

I also have been behind Sky since the beginning, the whole experience is Exhilarating and Reassuring. The staff is always polite and greats with a smile. I joined the Sky Unlimited Washing membership as soon as it became available and find it convenient and easy to utilize. Sky's atmosphere is comfortable and stimulating. And when my car has been taken care of, I always find it exactly how I expect, with the high standards and quality of work that I have come to expect from Sky. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car! more

I gotta say I was really surprised to see some of this negative feedback but after reading through it, it seems clear that the people complaining don't seem to understand what they signed up for -- even though when I signed up for the Free Trial thingie myself, the folks at Sky Wash made it all very clear. Don't hate on a small business owner because you're too lazy to ask questions or pay attention to your own finances. Ridiculous. As for the service, I've been taking my car to Sky Wash for almost a year. They've always done an excellent job and you just can't beat the atmosphere and set-up. If you want your car cleaned beautifully while you wait in a thoughtful and pleasant environment, Sky Wash can't be beat. Really. more

sky wash is my weekly zen moement. I think some of the people who wrote reviews on this site don't understand that when you get a free trial membership...you need to pay after the free trial is over! If you are someone who tries to take advantantage of small business owners - trying to make a living in this country - go find yourself another spot to wash your car. This place is wonderful and a fresh take on an old idea. I have never had a problem with the owner or the staff. They are very friendly and I truely enjoy myself each time I go to sky! I pay my monthly fees (on time) and enjoy all the benefits especially the lounge area. it is a comfortable, clean, well appointed place to hang out in and as a woman feel very comfortable at sky. I have had issues at other places. They are always trying new things and and are very open to feedback. I highly encourage everyone to check it out! more

Complete waste of my $$ 8/24/2010

I purchased the Premiium Wash for $45 and they did a terrible job! The windows were streaked, the carpeting was still dirty, the cup holders still has gunk in them. This is after I asked them to take it back & clean it better. They were very busy but that is no excuse. I will NEVER go there again and I will make sure everyone I know does not either! more

Rip-Off -Watch your bills. 7/13/2010

They ripped me off with membership offer. They charged me for 1 month even when I had cancelled the membership.\r \r They will set you up. They will not pick up phone; nor answer to the voice msgs you leave. They will sweet talk you into enrolling for the membership and then they will rip you off.\r \r Beware of their fraudulent Billing practises. Check your credit card bills.It took me several visits to the skywash and still they have not settled my account.\r \r It wont be long before somebody sues this shop. Not impressed 7/12/2010

I purchased three Premium washes via Groupon a few months ago, and just got around to using them last week. I brought my car in first, and my boyfriend's SUV the next day. Paying $9 for each Groupon, I feel like I got a pretty good deal, but I can't say I would go back and pay full price. My car wasn't too dirty to begin with, but still it looked great when it was done. I can't say the same for the SUV that I brought in the next day, unfortunately. My bf thought it looked great, so I guess it wasn't horrible. I noticed, however, that they didn't vacuum between the seats at all. What was interesting to me is that the SUV was ready in about half the time it took to clean my car. That didn't make much sense to me. The young guys that work at Sky are all very nice and I would commend them on their customer service. That said, I would have a hard time paying upwards of $50 for the service. Shady Billing Practices 6/28/2010

I think Sky Wash does a good job, but their business practices are questionable. Beware if you sign up for a monthly membership. They continue to bill you even 30 days after you cancellation, then tell you they have no record of your cancellation. Please watch your credit card statements carefully and save your cancellation documents. Working towards resolution was cumbersome, and took one physical visit, and three phone calls. Hard to Cancel membership....Do not trust them 6/26/2010

Please do not use this SKY, is a ripped off. Service is not good now anymore, the manager is lazy and rude. I can never get prompt service and attention. The owner Mike Ferguson needs to pay attention to his business otherwise may have to go belly up in a year. Trust me. I was with them for nine years and at that time my contract said that can be cancel anytime but now they make me stay for 2 more months before I can cancel, They just make thing complicated to their client. Please there are many other car wash. Do not use SKY. Trust me. All the comment are real. They are Scamming people. PLEASE DO NOT USE SKY CAR WAH IN ROSWELL, GA. Bad service 6/8/2010

I went to try out this place with coupon and not impressive with the service. The sales person is pushy and rude. The monthly charge still shows up on my bill even the cancellation was done weeks ago..... Try some other place. You will be happier. Two weeks later - I am still trying to get my refund after two personal visit to the car wash. The front desk insists only personal visit could remove the credit card charge successfully. I felt I am saying good bye to my money and this poor service place. Two month now - just got the $52.98 refund on my credit card after many ""personal"" visit that required. Excellent Service, Excellent Job 1/21/2010

I took my car to get washed and detailed about a week ago at Sky. I depend on my cars' interior and exterior for business. I drive clients around all day in it. So the appearance of my car is obviously important I must say that out of all the places i've gone, Sky was by far the best. -my car came out perfect and looked brand new -the staff was friendly and knowledgeable In addition, the inside is very nice. It is not your typical car wash. While I waited, I could check my email, watch tv, or just relax. If your busy like me, you know the importance of this. Yes, the price is a bit high compared to some other places, but for what your getting, it is head and shoulders above the rest. I recommend this place to anyone who cares about the appearance of their car for either work or resale value. Pros: Premium Quality and ambience more

Expensive compared to others! 1/12/2010

I was on a business appointment in Roswell and decided to get my car washed at SKY. I pay $19.00 in buckhead for the exact same type of wash at Catus Car Wash. Not sure why things are so expensive in the burbs at Sky. $38.00 for a car wash? I have a frequent buyer card at Catus at no charge. What gives? Is it that much better? What is this Clean and Green upcharge of $2.99. Folks living in Alpharetta, you will save money if you travel to Buckhead to get you car washed plus you can have lunch at the Buckhead Dinner for what you pay for a car wash in Alpharetta. Signing up is easy - getting out is impossible! 12/11/2009

I signed up for the $49.99 per month unlimited car wash service. In order to get out of it you have to give a month's notice before they stop charging you. However, they never stopped charging me even when I physically went back into the location to sign the cancellation form (because you can't quit your membership over the phone). I've called them about 9 times so far and I never get a live person, always the answering machine. I'm going to have to go back into Sky to talk to someone and look over their shoulder while they refund me the money they took. If you don't monitor what they do with your finances they take as much as possible! Very (un-necessarily) frustrating experience. These people charged my husband's debit card monthly from June of 2005 to August of 2009 when I finally discovered the charges. We have not received any car washes in that period of time. Bad Customer Service 8/18/2009

I could understand charging $30 for a car wash if the service was outstanding or perhaps you got a quality car wash; however at Sky Car Wash...neither of the two apply. I'm not sure what type of employees they aim to hire but it's certainly not due to their customer service skills. In addition, they do not hand wash your car. It's a drive through like any other place in Atlanta, that would generally charge $12. They fall over themselves to cater to the high rollers, but for the average car washer, you're lucky if they even get the soap out from under the spoiler. There's no question that they work for tips so nicer car=higher tips so they treat the customers accordingly (note I have an 08 Maxima and they would prefer my ""cheap"" car not be parking in front of their fancy building). Nonetheless, when I questioned some spots left behind...the sales guys acted like they didn't have time for my petty demands and basically told me they have thousands of customers and can't give everyone so much attention. Well, for $30 plus tip, I'd at least like for it to appear like an effort was made. Outside of the poor service and exceptionally poor quality, the sales guys are extremely pushy and over the top and are more concerned about breaking a nail than providing good service. (By the way, from what I can tell, they only hire men for the ""sales floor""). I will never visit this place again. Horrible 8/18/2009

This place is great if you like overpriced car washes by stuckup prcks. The guys that work there look down on you if you're not rolling in an high dollar car...Really? They work at a freaking car wash and they want to look down on the customers. Secondly, they completely over charge. Their contract terms are unclear. And if they make a mistake, it's you're fault. The car wash was ok but not worth $30 (when it's not even hand washed) but then again, I was only driving a Nissan so I probably didn't get a lot of attn. I will never return to this place as it seems to be more of a country club than a car wash. You're paying for the name, not the service at this place!!! Great wash. 11/13/2008

Two days ago I took my car to Skywash and highly recommend it to everyone. I paid just over $60 because my car really needed to be cleaned. They did an amazing job, and even got out a stain that two other car washes had not been able to remove. I also really enjoyed the lounge - it's A LOT nicer then any other car wash I've been too. Bad Service, Worse Customer Service 10/6/2008

1. We went to Sky Car Wash, to get our car (Subaru Baja) cleaned on 10/05/2008 around 11:30am.\r \r 2. At the time of check-in, we were heavily promoted and finally opted for the most expensive i.e. Premium Wash priced at $49.99 + tax. We were told that the interior is going to be hand-cleaned by two persons for 40-50 minutes (as opposed to one if we opted for the basic service). Instead, only after 20 mins we were informed that our car is ready.\r \r 3. When we inspected the car, we observed that neither exterior nor the interior of the car was cleaned properly. There was dirt near the cup holders and several stains inside as well as exterior that no one had even attempted to clean that could have easily come off using some soap and sponge.\r \r 4. We pointed out these to the person who was helping us to check-out. He had an explanation for everything that was not clean. He was unsuccessfully trying to wipe off every stain with a wet rag. So, we just requested him to properly clean the interior.\r \r 5. Instead of doing anything, he escalated it to Bryan, the manager in-charge. Bryan went thru the same set of explanations why things were not clean. He was far from being courteous; rather rude and impolite. As per Bryan, he would not be making money if he was to give so much time and attention to individual customer. He did not stop there. He blamed us that it is our fault that we had such a dirty car that was not washed for a long time. Bryan repeated several times that we probably had very high expectation of the service. Please note that we took their best and most expensive service.\r \r In conclusion, we would like to say:\r \r # We shall never use the Sky Car Wash service again.\r # We shall never refer any of our friends or family to Sky Car Wash.\r # We shall like to warn people using Sky Car Wash, to have a very low expectation and be prepared to be mistreated if you expect any customer service. Quality - not speed - is on the menu at Sky Wash 12/25/2007

I have been a long time customer of Sky Wash. Two years ago one of the attractive sales people persuaded me to sign up for the membership program. I pay a reasonable (considering what I get) fee at the beginning of each month and then can have my car washed as many times as I want throughout the month. Everyone at Sky is polite and cheerful. From day one I have been impressed with how seriously the people at Sky take car washing. Everytime I go, they point out exactly what my car needs to remain in optimum condition... and they don't lie. I recently traded in my old car, and they were amazed at how clean it was. All thanks to my regular visits to Sky. Unlike other car washes they aren't in a rush to get me out, they seem much more interested in ensuring my car get's the love and attention it needs. The environment is nice - trendy, comfortable furniture.. with the standard internet available as well. \r \r It is true that Sky is not the fastest car wash around, but it's not slow either. What they lack in speed they make up for in quality and service. Unlike some other carwashes in the Atlanta area, I've never once had to worry that they are using a dirty rag on my car. Considering the excellent quality of the work they do, and their attention to detail I don't mind spending a few extra minutes waiting to see my car shine! Bring a checkbook and patience! 8/28/2007

I had both of our cars on the SkyOne (unlimited washes) program for several months and recently dropped my membership. They do a good job on your car but I could not afford to spend an hour (plus or minus) there each time I needed a wash. Yes, the staff is courteous and high pressure selling was kept to a minimum. It seems as though they are a victim of their own success as on weekends they do not have enough staff on hand to keep things moving. On one weekend after a few rainy days, they were telling customers to expect 90 minutes for their wash. That's unacceptable. This is not a hand wash, they run it through a machine wash which is followed by hand drying, vaccum, and window cleaning afterwards. My car was run through the wash and sat untouched for over 30 minutes. There were a few people working - not nearly enough - and other customers were griping and wondering where all the ""help is"". \r \r I felt like I needed to run each car through there once a week to get my money's worth out of the membership and with the time commitment plus travel time it was no longer worth it. A wash of similar quality can be found nearby for $25 or less, and be done in less than 30 minutes. Also, if you want to spend the long wait time catching up on some phone calls, forget it. The staff plays loud techno-dance music in the waiting area and it is nearly impossible to use a cellphone. Go outside, and the music is played out there too plus you are at the mercy of the elements and the noise of the vacuum machines also makes cell usage tough if not impossible. \r \r So long, Sky!
