Okay so i can finally say i have found a good carwash. i am an absolute car fanatic, neat freak, do anything for a clean car type of guy. I recently stumbled across Sky carwash in Alpharetta while running some errands. to say the least, i was so happy with my experience and the outcome of my car. I have a dog, a 3 year old, and do a lot of outdoor activities (which makes for a filthy car!) i paid somewhere around $45 for a full inside and out wash. I think it was called the premier wash. just to be able to sit, listen to good tunes, and eat some friggin yogurt while someone else did the work was great. these guys are machines! L felt like i was at car resort lol. Love it! I will definitely be back! i have read about 40 bad reviews about this place. i think sometimes when you sell thousands of 90% off car washes a hand full of those people are gonna be bad eggs. more

BEWARE-Sky is Loclly-Unexpected Charges 8/31/2011

I bought the $9 voucher for a month worth of car washes in June. No where on the Loclly site or on the voucher did it say it automatically signed me up for their membership. My credit card was billed $39.99 two times in two days two months later. I purchased a month's worth of car washes at Sky Wash Detail Lube through Loclly for $9. When I took my car the first time, I gave them my name and credit card number. Little did I know that they were signing me up for a continuing monthly membership that they would automatically charge to my credit card in the amount of $39.99. When this charge appeared on my credit card statement, I called Sky and was never able to get to a person, but left a msg. for them to return my call, which they did at 7:52 am on a Saturday morning. The rep that I spoke w/said that he did not have the authority to remove the charge and that if I had read the fine print, I would have known that I was signing up for a continuing membership. He did, however, say that he would turn it over to his manager who would email me later that afternoon. I have never heard from the manager, so left another voicemail to which I have not received a return call. When I go to have my car washed...I'm not trying to sign a contract and have to sit and read all of the fine print....just wash my car please!! This is a VERY sneaky way to get customers!! The recorded msg. on the phone addresses these ""memberships"" (that I didn't even know I was signing up for) and said that you HAVE to come to the car wash in person in order to cancel your membership and it must be done 30 days in advance, etc., etc. Honestly??? They are almost 10 miles from my house so I don't want to have to go over there to tell them that I don't want to be a member of their ""club""!! I just think that this is a very poor method for building their business. more

Customer NO SERVICE! They BREAK IT, YOU PAY for IT! 7/3/2011

Sky Wash Detail Lube A.K.A Sky Express Carwash A.K.A SKY A.K.A Yes Living Social - Sky Car Wash Deal - If you care about your car do not take it to SKY CAR WASH! Their negligence resulted in a $336.57 car bill. Prior to dropping off my car I had to adjust my seat. When I picked my car up, the seat adjustment was different. I could not reach the pedal. I went to adjust my seat and it would not move. It worked when I dropped off the car and after being at Sky Car Wash it did not work. I went in and notified an employee. Ryan came out looked at it. It did not work. Ryan stated that he created a claim for me and emailed me a copy. I requested a printed copy but Ryan stated that the printer was broken and he could not print anything for me. I asked Ryan what the process would be to resolve the issue and he stated, “You might receive a phone call from the owner. Then, we would have to take the car to the shop and get a quote.” I never heard from a Sky Car Wash representative or the owner. I called Sky Car wash on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and left messages asking if someone could please contact me. I also emailed them. I could not adjust my seat. I was using pillows behind my back to reach the gas pedal. I never heard from the owner so I took my car to a BMW repair shop. We gave Sky Car Wash a month to respond. We drove up to Sky Car Wash today to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue. We saw Ryan the manager. He remembered the issue. We stated that we wanted to have the issue resolved today and that the issue could be resolved the easy way or the hard way. He said he was going to make a phone call to contact the owner because he could not make the decision himself. When Ryan returned, he led us over to the owner of Sky Car Wash, Michael Ferguson. So, in reality he did not have to make a phone call. The owner was actually on site. Michael Ferguson is the owner of Sky Carwash. After introductions, he asked us what the issue was. We showed him the damaged component and the repair bill. He looked at the component and did not even look at the mechanic’s documentation or bill total. He started speaking over us and would not listen. He spoke to us in a derogatory tone as if we were grifters. He stated that “Mercedes were pieces of SH(%”. So, I corrected him and told him we had a BMW… then he concluded BMWs were pieces of SH(%S too. I learned a lot about Michael Ferguson. He treated us in a very unprofessional manner. His businesses practices do not involve resolving customer issues. No follow up and no resolution. He is bald. He stated his dad was an auto mechanic. He was lecturing us about planes falling out of the sky. He was talking incoherently about business theories he supposedly learned in college. I was not quite sure what the point of the whole conversation was about. We went there because of an issue. He never offered a resolution. He started moving in closer to my husband and when he was a foot away, I said, “Let’s just leave. We can go to court”. His comment was, “they will just laugh it out of court.” more

Adequate wash for exorbitant price. 6/8/2011

I have used Sky in the past and honestly ONLY use them when i get a discounted pass as that is the only time they are worth it. This last time took the cake. Got an email for the month of June for $9 unlimited car washes, maybe an oversight on my part but it also mentioned having to sign up for a $39. I go the day of to get my car washed and there is no line and maybe 4 cars out front being dried off and was greeted...I showed my coupon....and was told that it was going to be at least a 50 minute wait? WTH, there is noone here? I told them i'd come back. Come back the next day, present my coupon and the guy chuckles and says, ""do you realize that you have to sign up for a monthly membership to get this?"" I tell him , ""no"" He then says, ""i have had so many people come through with this problem and if i put you through they are going to lock you into the monthly fee."" I tell him, ""thank you, it ticks me off but that is not your fault you only work here."" SKY is SHADY in their business practices and gives adequate car washes at best. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! more

Don't Waste your money going to this place. 4/10/2011

We got a coupon from half depot for a car wash detail worth $45. I thought, Great! I could get a little more for my money than the usual wash and inside vac and wipe down of the dashboard. When I picked up my car, the leather seats hadn't been touched and it was not clean on the inside. When I asked about it they told me that for the ""package"" I had....$45 remember.....all they do is wash the outside, wipe the dashboard and vac the inside. That is what I pay $20 for at the car wash I usually go to, which is reasonalbe. Yes, the place is nice and they have coffee ect. But that means nothing to me when I don't receive satisfactory service for my money. My advice is, go someplace...... anyplace else unless you like to come home and clean the insde of your car yourself after spending $45! more

It was definitely the worse carwash experience and business my family and i have experienced!! The staff was rude and it was a rip off.. they didnt clean my car well at all and was way over priced. there are so many other car wash places i am going to use now. Do not go here!! Please. BIGGEST MISTAKE :( 1/31/2011

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. All the other commenters are right... I had a credit card dispute. It took me over 3 months to have my information removed. If you want to try this place out then just pay for the one time fee. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP!.... its a little weird that the comments vary so much. A great business should be trustworthy. They are not consistent. Why pay for inconsistency???? more

I strongly support what gfusion and other former customers have referenced below. Once you give a Sky staff member your credit card information, prepare to defend numerous and unexpected charges that will begin appearing on your statement. I cancelled my Sky membership in 2009 because their staff refused to remove erroneous, unsubstantiated charges placed on my account. I ended up paying an attorney to send them a cease and desist letter just to cancel my membership. As my attorney was quick to notice: The staff looks hip and trendy, but in reality they are crooked and negligent. more

EXCEEDS My Expectations!! 12/22/2010

My husband and I have had the Sky One Membership for several years now and have been MORE than pleased with the care they put into cleaning our cars (large Lexus SUVs) AND also the care they give us as valued customers. They call us (and our children!) by name! They know how picky we are about tire shine that they go to the 1st tread without us needing to ask. They are courteous, kind, quick and detailed. I have ALWAYS been happy with the quality of workmanship and the quality of customer service. Their facility is clean, their staff is engaging and they provide a VERY comfortable waiting area for me to work and my children to eat ice cream/play. Going to the car wash (a couple times a week!) is a treat for my whole family, not an 'errand'. We look forward to it every single time. Thanks, especially, to Matt, Will and Mike for making us feel so special on every visit. We couldn't be any happier!!! more

DON'T GIVE SKY YOUR CREDIT CARD! 12/18/2010

When you sign up to become a Sky member, they bill your credit card each month. WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS! I was a member for two years but one day while examining my Amex statement, I noticed that Sky had been billing me for extra services (Premium washes, Sky tunnel waxes, etc). I called them on the phone and the arrogant owner told me I had to drive to his facility to challenge the charges. By the time I arrived the owner had left. A sales person told me he would credit my account for the charges but after a month went by, the charges were still there. I finally canceled my membership (which you have to do in writing at their facility) but Sky CONTINUED TO BILL MY CREDIT CARD! These people are unbelievable. Amex disputed the charges, canceled my card and sent me a new one. The whole experience was a total nightmare. There are too many car wash services in Roswell & Alpharetta to risk having your credit compromised. Too bad you have to score at least one star to get your review posted because this company's score should be ZERO stars. more

After being bombarded with the wash and detail offers, I jumped in to see what Sky was all about. $89 for a ""$599"" detail (a detail for $599 better be GREAT!) is pretty appealing. I figured even a ""fair"" detail for $89 might be worth it. Well, maybe! Here are the headlines:\r - I thought that ""carpets cleaned"" meant shampooed. The manager did too. They weren't.\r - Leather and vinyl treatment seems ""OK"". Interested to see how long it lasts.\r - They didn't open the glove compartments. You decide if that's good or bad.\r - Plenty of brake dust left on the wheels. Room for improvement there.\r - Not certain what the ""synthetic wax"" really is. One offer says 120 day life, while another says 12 months for the same ""synthetic wax"".\r - Service? Seems to be an issue. At 7:57 (opens at 8:00) I asked the guy at the register if he wanted to ""settle up"". He said ""we're not open yet""! Nuff said!\r - Met Louis, the head detailer, on a subsequent trip. Seems like a very conscientious, service oriented guy. Said he was out the day my car was done. Louis may be the key to getting a better job done!\r \r Does the car shine? Well, yes. Am I really excited about my $89 detail? Honestly, not so much. Just wasn't fulfilling after seeing what a ""real"" detailer does.\r Overall, would I do it again? Probably not a detail or anything beyond their regular wash. That's the only offer I'll use in the future. They do a good job with that. For a ""real"" detailing, I'll head back over to Mammoth Car Wash and Detail on Old Milton Road. Ismael is the best and it's well worth the price to polish and wax twice a year. Polishing is the key folks! Very different than waxing. Been going there for years and I'll openly apologize that the $89 offer lured me in. I'll use Sky for washes, but for detailing, I'm headed back to Mammoth. more

The Best Gets Better! 9/11/2010

I love this place!! I have been a member for over 10 years and right when I thought my car wash might have some competition, they give the place a face lift. YES! is wonderful too. (just an addition to the great customer service) I was surprised to see some of the reviews posted....Sky does offer a free month of car washes if you want to try it out. If you don't want to pay or join, you should probably let someone know. Don't get angry on the web because you didn't cancel early enough. Side note: I don't know why you would cancel anyway...it's a great deal! more

WORST CAR WASH EVER!!!! AFTER $400+ IN REPAIRS DUE 9/10/2010

If I could give this place negative stars I would have. I brought my 2010 Camaro SS in on the 4th of September and just got it back from MY insurance company after getting the repairs done due to Sky Car Wash's either faulty equipment or personnel who just don't care. If the work ethic follows the example of the supposed ""Owner"" Michael Johnson OR Michael Furguson (not suresince he would not give me his details), then no wonder.... My wife and I took our 2008 H2 and my car to get a super outside detail. It was immaculate without any scratches and we made the check-in guy verify that there were no scratches or dents before they took our vehicles. When they were done my wife left in her truck behind me and we weren't able to do a full walk through to make sure there was nothing wrong because they were backed up and needed the space. 2 min after pulling away, my wife noticed something on my rear bumper. She called me and immediately pulled over. Much to my surprise there was a 12"" scratch deep in the paint and some other minor abrasions. I immediately attempted to call Sky and no one answered the phone on multiple attempts so I went back and was told that only the owner could address my concern. I waited over an hour and a half for him to show up with an attitude and dictate to me how this was going to work and that if I filed a police report he would not ""investigate"" the issue. He also said that he would not allow the police on his premises and that it was private property and he would not allow them to file a police report. When the police arrived he was arrogant and didn't want his residential address to appear on the report, as he repeatedly told the officer ""we are going to have an issue if my home address is on the police report, do you understand me?"", he said this multiple times to the officer. Needless to say, I filed a claim against him and a police report. He made a 1/2 attempt to underestimate, by saying it will only cost $150 to fix it and he would pay for 1/2 of it. What a joke, the insurance company who will always lowball an estimate quoted at $445.69. He then refused to take any responsibility and said he would falsify a statement to his insurance company and say it was prior damage even though his employee checked us in and agreed that there was no prior damage. On top of all that the ""Super"" Exterior detail was a joke. I found dirt and grime everywhere, and he reused to give a refund for the service, but that he would ""redo it"", like I would give them another shot to cause more damage. The owner and his joke of a car wash looks fancy, but in reality is all smoke and mirrors. If anything happens to your vehicle good luck, as ""It is your fault, because you didn't see anyone personally with your eyes do it"". There is no room for an arrogant owner who antagonizes clients and wastes their time. So, $445.69 worth of damage later, $100 on a worthless ""SUPER"" DETAIL, and lots wiser, I would suggest not taking your car or truck to Sky Car Wash, as looks can be deceiving. Ought to have a sign saying ""BEWARE, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK""! more

Premier Service and Quality at a decent price 9/1/2010

I can't say enough about Sky and their exceptional service and quality of work.\r I have been going to Sky for years without any problems They always provied great customer service and my car looks fantastic.\r It is also a very relaxing/upscale environment for a car wash.\r I have read some of the poor reviews of SKY and I'm really surprised that people are complaining about accepting FREE trial memberships, and not cancelling. It sounds like people need to learn to read. \r \r Some of the reviews make Sky sound like rip-off artists. They clearly are not. I have been doing business with them for years and have no complaints.\r \r THANK YOU SKY for taking care of my baby!! I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. more

Very Impressed 9/1/2010

A car wash that caters to it's customers comfort and satisfaction is what Sky Wash is about. I am very impressed with the attention to detail and the friendly customer service that the entire staff gave to me. To be able to relax in the clean lounge while my car was being serviced was also very impressive. I will be making a regular visit to Sky Wash!! more

Incredible Service, Value,Atmosphere 9/1/2010

My family believed in having our cars hand washed until we experienced Sky Wash and found their car wash tunnel to be just as ,if not more, gentle on our cars. The staff is extremely professional and well mannered. It is obvious their passion is taking excellent care of cars as well as customers. I am shocked at some of the vicious and negative reviews I have read! Obviously these people do not take responsibility for their own ""lack of action"" by not informing Sky of their decision whether to continue or not prior to the next month after receiving a GENEROUS FREE UNLIMITED MONTH! Come on people-do you ever write nice reviews about anything?! ""Unlimited Washes "" is an incredible value. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKY WASH!! more

Wonderful Service 8/31/2010

My car has always left Sky in tip top condition. Friends and fellow workers who ride with me always comment on how clean I keep my car, 'Thanks to Sky.' Time spent at Sky is always pleasant as they have created a comfortable and convenient environment for their customers.
