Marta is the BOMB as a Manager 2/24/2006

I have been using Marta to do my hair now for over several years now and she has been at a lot of places and I think that this is the best ofthem. This place attends to your immdeate needs and it feels like a total family setting. I love to go there. Marta I think has also done a great job of managing the place. At this place you will be treated with respect and the utmost delicate care! Also easy scheduling, directions and parking. WAY TO GO! I LOVE YOU! more

Ashley is my hairdresser. She has been doing my hair for several years. She is smart, beautiful and extremely talented. She keeps up with the latest styles and trends in fashion. Whether you want a "classic" style, or something a little more "trendy" - she will make you feel confident and beautiful when you are done. I am frequently asked by people, "Who does your hair?" They either tell me that they love the cut or color, and want the name of my hairstylist. Ashley is an AWESOME stylist, and I am so thankful to have her doing my hair!! Salon Tewl is the BEST! 2/9/2006

I started going to Salon Tewl about a month ago when I was referred to Marta by my best friend. I was so happy about how my color turned out that I tell everyone about her. But today, I was able to meet Natalie. I am extremely picky about who does my eyebrows, but Marta told me how good she is. So, after a consultation with Natalie, I decided to give her a try. I am very pleased at what I great job she did. To top it off, she added a tiny bit of foundation so that I didn't look so red and she used color to my brows so that it looked perfect. I really liked how she was so precise and informative. I am definitely going back to her! So- if you are really picky and want the perfect waxing, GO TO NATALIE! Salon Tewl is the prefect destination for beautiful hair, fabulous nails and great waxing. Out of all the Bellevue salons, Salon Tewl provides all the necessities to have a fun and relaxing time while getting pampered. Ive been a client of Johns for years. Hes a master at haircuts and equally fabulous with color! John can definitely complement your over all appearance!! Lisa is wild with nails. Shes talented, patient and knows exactly what to do. Ive switched so many different hair stylists and salons in the past tens years that I can probably give you a blue book account of each salon from Bellevue to Portland. Finally I discovered Salon Tewl a few months ago and booked an appointment with Michael ONeill. What a great guy he is! Michael and I talked about golf throughout my entire appointment. By the time he got done blow drying my hair, I told him that he has a client for life! If youre looking for great haircuts and entertaining conversations, ask about Michael now! more

I saw all these reviews for some of the other stylists and noticed that John Kim wasnt mentioned. Boys and girls, allow me to set the record straight. JOHN KIM is the man to see! I have really thick straight hair that, even if I tried to style, couldnt hold a curl if I wanted it to. Hair in which Ive inherited from my fathers side of the family yikes! John took one look at my hair the first time I visited him and told me, Dont worry, I know what to do. That was three years ago. I come in every seven weeks and he works his magic. Ive just found out that he works with color too, and believe me, after I got a foil with him, I cant even look at another hair stylist. And if you like golf too, Johnnys definitely the one to see. I was recommended by a friend to go see Lisa at Salon Tewl to get my nails done, and I don't regret it one bit! She did a fabulous job and I am coming back on a regular basis. The staff was very polite and the atmosphere was very cheerful. It's also nice to know that I can get my hair, nails and waxing done at the same salon. Thank you Lisa and Salon Tewl! If youre ever in need of a great perm and haircut, check out Salon Tewl in downtown Bellevue. Ive lived in Bellevue for years and used to drive all the way to Seattle to get my hair done. When my granddaughter told me she visits Susan Miller every five weeks to get a haircut, I decided to visit Susan as well. Let me tell you, I got a perm with Susan a week ago and my hair feels great. Before, my hair usually felt dry and coarse, but after Susan works her magic, it now feels smooth and healthy. Youve got to check Susan out. Shes great! more

SALON TEWL OFFERS WAXING NOW!!!! 2/3/2006

Does anyone know how difficult it is to have to drive from your hair stylist to your nail technician than to your waxing specialist every four to five weeks??? The mileage on my car kept changing drastically over the past year that my husband was reading to divorce me. :) When I found out from Mari that Salon Tewl now provides nail and waxing services, I was thrilled. Lisa, the nail technician, does a fantastic custom manicure. Natalie, the esthetician, made my eye brows look so darn good that all my friends are jealous with envy. Danielle Certain is a trendy hair stylist with amazing talent. I love getting my hair done by Danielle. She knows exactly what to do with your hair and will cater to all our needs. My hair has never looked better with all the blonde and caramel highlights. I read this review earlier about Danielle creating an Angelina Jolie look on one of her clients and thats so true!!!! For Halloween this past year, I had Danielle style my hair like Jessica Albas. My hair looked so incredibly cute! My boyfriend didnt even recognize me. Anyone who reads this- go see Danielle. I was recommended by a friend of mine to go visit David at Salon Tewl. I heard he does fabulous hair cuts and my friend was right! David is an amazing artist. His workmanship with hair is outstanding. From the moment I walking in and was greeted by the receptionist from the moment I left, Salon Tewl catered to all my needs. Salon Tewl is by far one of the best full service salons in Bellevue. I found the salon one night as I was leaving Chutneys. It looked inviting that I couldnt help but check it out. Granted, Ive never been there before so when I walked in and was warmly greeted, I just new I had to get my hair done there. The receptionist was very friendly and patient while we were booking my appointment and took the time to show me around and give me a little history of the business. My appointment was scheduled for the following day with Ashley Newbury and let me just say that she is talented! For a woman my age its hard to find a young lady who is eager to give a more modern day haircut and style. I feel young and hip and not at all 55!! I can't wait to get my hair done with Ashley every six weeks. She is so funny and smart! She totally cracks me everytime I go and see her. Not only is she a talented artist but she's also friendly, down to earth, and very education is todays fashion! All my gal friends kept asking me and asking me who does my hair and finally I just booked them appointments with her. They were all amazed and how sharp she is with styling!!! I went in today wanting Angelina Jolie's hair color and came out looking even better!!! If you want a celebrity hair style, Ashley's the gal to see!! I first learned about Salon Tewl from a friend. I was so happy to see that they were able to accommodate all of the services I wanted. I was able to get my hair foiled, then a french maniucre (while I was processing) and a brow wax before I left. The staff here is wonderful and cheerful. Great Mens Hair Cuts! 1/19/2006

My old barber just retired so I was looking for a hair salon close to work. Salon Tewl is only three blocks from where I work in downtown bellevue and has free uncovered parking which is ideal for someone who hates the rain. When I visited the salon for the first time, I got a trim by Mari who specializes in asian hair and was WOWed by how talented she is. My whole family now comes to her every four weeks to get their trims. She's professional, always on time and has a schedule that relates perfectly with mine. Get a polish change while letting your hair set or end your day with a relaxing manicure with soy massage or spa pedicure.
