Stylist: Natalya After re-locating from Souther California to the Seattle area, I took a chance at getting my hair cut and colored at Salon Tewl. This was a great decision as my stylist, Natalya, was an awesome fit as she does just a fabulous job not only with the knowledge and depth of her styling hair but also with a great degree of expertise in coloring hair as well. Natalya has a friendly and outgoing personality and you could tell from the onset, that she has the passion, dedication and commitment to be the very best. I can say that with every haircut and color, the effort put into making the experience great is second to none. Great Stylists!!! 1/9/2007

I've had trouble finding places that can do my hair exactly how I want and I went to Salon Tewl and was so happy afterward. Heidi highlighted and cut my hair and did such a gorgeous job. I plan on going back there from now on. The minute I walked in I was offered a beverage which was very refreshing. Heidi took her time and made sure that I was happy in every aspect of what she had done. This place is great, I would reccomend it to everyone! more

i went to salon tewl, Heidi cut my hair she did exactly what i wanted and listened to me unlike most of the time when i get my hair cut i say i want it long still and it ends up all short again she did such a good job i have recommended her to all my friends. very good guys haircuts! I discovered Salon Tewl when my regular stylist, Kay, started working there. I have been her client for over 3 years since she does a fabulous job on my haircuts and partial foils. Kay is a highly skilled artist and the atmosphere at Salon Tewl allows her to showcase her talent. The ambience is airy and bright while the decor is modern, yet comfortable. Excellent Hair!! 9/1/2006

I have been seeing Roberta since the late 90's. She is super; great cuts and color. She always takes into consideration my own personal style and features when cutting or coloring. She has helped me transition to several different styles over the years and helped nudge me into trying highlights and brighter colors. I would highly recommend her!! I just started going to Salon Tewl because of stylist Kay. I always go to her for my eyelash extensions. She is amazing and always does a fantastic job. I have gotten so many compliments and my eyelashes stay on for over 5 weeks!! She is the best stylist ever! I would highly recommend her and would never go to anyone else! Best Salon Anywhere! 8/28/2006

Salon Tewl is an answer to my prayers. It's so refreshing to have found a salon that is both professional and provides a relaxing experience at the same time. I am always extremely satisfied with my hair cuts and color. The staff really knows their stuff. I recommend having the stylist suggest what would look best for you and then letting go of your same old style and see how amazing the result can be. I highly recommend Salon Tewl! New life change 8/23/2006

The best haircut experience in my life!!!! I had no idea how I want my hair to look like, but Martha was so professional that she showed me how I wanted them :-) I felt like in a heaven in her hands. Great Straightening 8/15/2006

I had Kay as a stylist. She got my overproccesed hair perfectly straight. Its expensive, but well worth it. The cut wasn't perfectly even, but they squeezed me in the next day to fix it. Friendly staff and good parking too Pros: Parking, straightening Cons: Little bit of a wait more

I trust them so much that I never even tell them what kind of haricut I want to be done. It always comes out perfect and my 30 minutes there is a nice way to relax. Clean and professional. more

Despite efforts to fix the awful haircut, I left in tears 8/13/2006

I came in for a layers and left with a bushy chunk of hair. I explained that my hair is very straight and thick, and it has to be layered with that in mind. Instead, they use layering techniques for thin, fine hair. I was shocked when I saw the haircut, I was literally speechless. It was awful. To their credit, their customer service was good. They tried hard to fix the haircut, but it kept getting shorter and worse. They didn't accept payment for the haircut. more

Truly is a great experience. 8/2/2006

I do my hair at this salon and can't think of going to another place. But now they have Isabelle, who works wonders with facials and eyelashes. I've heard of this girl before, and finally tried her services. Wow! I felt like I never knew before what the real facial should be! P.S. They now do eyelash extentions, haven't tried that yet, but definately will! Pros: Everything. Cons: None. more

Salon Tewl Fits my every need! 8/2/2006

If your looking for an esthetician then come here!! I have been to about 5 different places to get waxed and non of then have worked out. My boyfriend was searching for a new place on city search to get a hair cut and came across Salon Tewl. I came with him for his appointment and they squeezed me in to get a brow wax and tint. Not only was the salon very welcoming to us but Izabella did the best job out of everyone i have been to. she gave me some suggestions on how to take care of myself and everything turned out great. My boyfriend was very happy with his hair cut and we have already booked our next appointments with their great front desk. Pros: welcoming, accessible, upbeat atmosphere Cons: none more

I was looking for a new hair cut place after getting bored with my previous salon in Seattle. I checked on-line the reviews, and decided go to Salon Tewl. That was the right choice!!! Marta is the hair stylist you want to meet with. Im trying to grow my hair and meanwhile I want to have a nice haircut. She is amazing!!! What a total disappointment. 7/25/2006

I decided to try Salon Tewl because of all the great reviews they had. The first mistake I made was not asking how much the haircut would cost. I was completely shocked when I went to pay and found out it was $55. Gene Juarez is $10 less, and I think THAT'S even expensive. My second disappointment was the haircut I received from Roberta. I have long hair and for some reason some stylists think when I say I'd like a "trim" that means I want short hair! It doesn't -- it means I want a TRIM. She took at least 3-4 inches off my hair when I asked for 1 1/2. Now my hair isn't even long enough to put in a pony tail -- right in the middle of the hottest months of the year. So despite all the rave reviews, I'm definitely not ever going back. Maybe I just got the bad pick of the hairdressers or something. I've really had bum luck when it comes to finding a good, decent priced hair salon in Bellevue -- and a stylist who will DO WHAT I ASK. more

Amazing talent and very upbeat environnment! 7/13/2006

Dawn is well-educated, superior stylist, with an up-to-date command of color and shape. She specializes in multi-dimensional color, using only the best products to match your needs. For example, she uses a color product on my hair that's specifically designed for thin AND fine hair (which is what I have). I have never been "overdone" with damage by her, as I have with other stylists. Salon Tewl is blessed with some of the most diverse and educated stylists on the Eastside. Hollie is my hair's new best friend... 7/5/2006

I've been in the Seattle area only two weeks and have already found a great stylist- Hollie at Salon Tewl. Salon Tewl took my last minute appointment very graciously on a Thursday afternoon. Hollie made my hair- long, thick, wavy, and overgrown-into a smooth, glass-like work of art. All I did was point to a picture of Nicole Richie's bob-like haircut in a magazine and Hollie took over. By the time I left, I was 3 pounds lighter, and my hair looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! One of the reasons my hair was out of control in the first place was because I couldn't find someone who could cut it in a way that would let me get away with a as little maintenance as possible during the summer months.
