SO I changed hair salons due to me moving to this area. Was nervious but saw a ton of great reviews so went to RuMM to try it out. Love it! Layla cut my hair and gave me a new style that I love. I have always gone to nice salons but finally have a real hair style that suits me. I recommend Layla. more

The BEST Salon! 2/25/2010

My hair was a mess when I first started going to Meredith at RuMM! Now, after only two visits with her, I feel and look like a new person! My hair has never looked or felt this healthy and pretty. My highlights are subtle and natural, and the cut is amazing! Meredith is so good at listening to what you want and talking to you about what she thinks will look the best on you. The Best Color and Cut Ever - period. 2/20/2010

Millie has been highlighting my hair for years. The only problem is that I live in Washington, DC! I have tried to find another colorist that is as wonderful as Millie and have been unsuccessful. Time after time I get desperate and try somewhere in DC (obviously an area that is saturated with high end hair salons) and they never come close to Millie and the phenomenal team at RUMM. Finally, I have found a salon I can stick with! 1/26/2010

Mitch has been my twin daughters' colorist for quite some time and has always done a wonderful job. While attempting to color my own hair, I fell asleep with the color in for a good 45 minutes. One could only imagine what it looked like after that. My daughters and I decided the only hope of salvaging my hair, would be with Mitch. And we were right. Even with all of the damage done to my hair, when Mitch had finished with it, my hairt had not looked that good in many, many moons. Pros: Friendly and professional Cons: I would be hard-pressed to think of/find one more

Worth every penny! 11/21/2009

I started going to Rumm when they first opened after stopping 2 different people and asking them who did their hair. When they BOTH said Rumm, I knew I needed to check this place out. My hair had been previously damaged so I was worried. When I went in, Russell explained exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to fix my hair. My hair has never been healthier and I get compliments on it all the time (which never used to happen). They are not cheap, but so worth it. I would rather pay a little more and have great results than waste my money on bad color! Pros: talented staff Cons: none more

Excellent staff that is very welcoming and inviting. Anyone that goes there will always leave happy. They have a very talented staff that is by far the best and can handle anything. I started using Millie for color about 5 years ago. My hair has been amazing ever since. It is healthier than ever. I have never had to complain (knock on wood) about my color in all the years she's done it. I used to have brassy tones sometimes, and it always seemed so over processed. Finding someone you can trust is huge to me and not having to "shop around" every month looking for someone that knows what they are doing is also nice. Pros: experienced staff more

Love the salon. MIllie colors my hair and Meghan cuts. Meg has cut it to where I dont have to put so much effort into it in the morning. I'm always happy after every service. The Best Salon EVER! 11/12/2009

Milly and Irena are the BEST! BEST! BEST!!! Since finding RUMM, my husband (who hates that I spend money to get my hair colored) has even commented that this is the best my hair has ever looked. It looks natural but even better. Irena is a pro. She knows how to cut hair to accentuate and compliment my best features. These girls are artists. Can't rave enough!!!! Awesome Salon-Wonderful Work 10/26/2009

I found Rumm doing a google search and realized it is very near my home. My mother-in-law and I went there for the first time a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful experience. They do excellent work. It's worth it to pay the extra money because you know you are getting your hair done by highly trained and experienced people who use only the best products. Millie fixed my hair color (I had an awful highlight previously from another salon and my hair was like canary yellow!). Meghan did my cut and I love it. I can style my hair so much easier because of the way she cut it. I love how it's owned and run my a husband and wife team. It's also very nice that on their website they have bios about everyone so you kind of know what to expect before you get there and you can choose the right stylist to fit your personality and style. You will immediately feel completely confident and comfortable letting them do your hair. I wish I wasn't away at school so I could go there more often! I don't feel comfortable now letting anyone else touch my hair! Pros: Very well trained, excellent work Cons: price more

RUMM is AWESOME!!!! 8/21/2009

I have been a customer of Irina Palas for 4 years. She is an awesome Senior Stylist!! She does wonderful color and gets it exact every time. Never, ever, ever a bad haircut and I have gone form very long to a really short inverted bob!!! I trust her and say do what you think is best. Rumm is a beautiful salon, Millie, Russell and Megan are super sweet and it is a very pleasant atmosphere to relax in while you are getting beautified!!! I HIGHLY recommend this salon to everyone!!!! Don't waist your time looking else where one time and you will be very happy. I have people stop me all the time and ask me where I get my hair done! My colorist has been Millie who operates the salon with her husband Russell. Millie is an artist with an eye for color and her techniques are flawless. I appreciate how she gives attention to detail and the professional team of certified colorists. Following my color, I always received an excellent, relaxing shampoo massage making my RUMM experience refreshing. I had the best experience at this salon. I went in wanting something new and exciting and that's exactly what I got! I have never had such a great haircut and my highlights have never looked so natural and lasted so long. When I got home my husband even said WOW you look great! I have been a client of Rumm for over a year now and I love this salon! I was amazed at how they transformed my hair. Every stylist is great and they all work together. Unprofessional and TOO EXPENSIVE! 6/7/2009

I went for a consultation for my first hair color experience. When I went back, the stylist did not bother to listen to what I wanted. For WAY more than I ever spent at Toni & Guy (and I went there for years!), I got what amounted to a color job that my husband could have done. Greatest Place in ATLANTA 5/27/2009

This is the best place I have ever found to cut my hair. For a man's haircut, Irena takes her time and really focuses on the style. Now, I don't even have to tell her how I want it cut she just tells me what will look best. I love her because she is always learning and practicing new techniques which keeps their styles fresh and the experience always exciting. THANK YOU!!!
