Millie does my highlights and Megan does my hair cuts and my updo for my wedding. Everyone is very professional and does a great job! I have been to a lot of salons around Atlanta and this is the best place I have ever been! I feel they could cater to any hair style and any type person. Everyone is helpful and friendly from the time you walk in the door. more

True Color Artists 11/25/2008

I have been going to Russell for 12 years now and I would not trust anyone else to color my hair (except Millie). I always feel confident that my color is going to look great whether I decide to change my color or stick with my tried and true highlights. I get honest opinions and great suggestions for color that best suits my look. The new salon is inviting, super hip and always friendly. Best Hair Salon 11/13/2008

Rumm Hair Salon is definitely the best salon I have found since living in Atlanta. I have tried many other salons over the past 22 years, and Rumm Hair is very high tech, and all of the employees are very professional. I have never had as many compliments on my hair cut and color as I have had since being a customer here. I have been going to this salon now for 9 months, and plan on staying with these guys forever! Irina, who does my cut, and Russell who does my color, is the best stylist and colorist I have ever had for sure!! I highly recommend them. Pros: always prompt, and courteous more

Wonderful Experience 11/10/2008

The atmosphere of this salon is wonderfully relaxing and friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your experience is the best. Russell does my color and has been for 15 years. Talented is not a strong enough word to describe his ability. He has a extra sense when it comes to color...a true artist. Megan does my cut/styling. She does an excellent job with the worst head of hair in Atlanta...mine! This salon is truly a class act. I leave it pampered and happy. Pros: Atmosphere and Experience more

I received the most compliments after visiting their salon 9/23/2008

I saw Millie for color and Irina for my cut. Both Ladies were awesome and I've never received so many compliments on my hair before. They book up fast, so make sure you call in advance for your appointments. I am new to the area and went to a salon in Buckhead a few times that I had read about in magazines. While my experience was fine and they did a great job, why drive farther for an experience that isn't as good. Everyone seems to get along great in there and that helps contribute to a great atmosphere. more

I have been to all the big Atlanta salons so trust me when I say, RumM is different- in the best possible way. How refreshing it was, to walk in and feel like an individual, not like in the big chain salons. The decor and ambience was superb- only adding to the already great experience. Millie's personality was such a delight I barely even noticed that she was working! She effortlessly colored my naturally brown hair to a honey golden perfection, just as I had asked for! What a rarity to be on the same page! Lauren then gave me a fresh new cut, which was layered exactly as I wanted. Professional, talented, and extremely brilliant and gifted in the art of hair- RumM Color Studio has set an entirely new precedent for hair salons. I am never going back to anyone else! Highly recommended ! Pros: great hours, incredible service, you get exactly what you want Cons: a lil bit of a drive from Buckhead- but SO worth it more

I have been going to Erica for many years and I absolutely love the way she cuts and colors my hair. I get stopped on a regular basis with people wanting to know where I get my hair done. I always look forward to my appointments b/c the entire staff at RUMM is so friendly and they all make you feel more like a friend than a client. Visitors Welcomed!!!!! 8/8/2008

My daughter has been a client of Millie's for 8 years and has always praised her work highly. During a recent visit with my daughter in Atlanta (from New York) she arranged an appointment for herself with Millie and for me with Russell. Although he did not know me nor was he familar with my hair, he did a superb job in coloring and highlighting my hair. It looked natural, silky and I have never been happier with it. It was evident that the entire staff were very talanted in their own specific specialties and everyone made me feel welcomed and comfortable as if I had been going there regularly. I cannot wait to visit Atlanta again so that I can go back to RuMM. I only wished that I could have brought them back to New York with me!! more

Would Never Go Anywhere Else!!!! 8/6/2008

I have been going to Millie for about 8 years now for color and I would never go anywhere else!!! I came to Millie with what we titled "zebra stripes" (a highlight nightmare) and she worked her magic! I heard that Millie was the best and she is!!! I get compliments on my hair color constantly. I consider Millie not only to be one of the most talented people I know but I also consider her a friend. She has the best sense of humor and is down to earth and I look forward to every visit. The new salon is beautiful and everyone is so nice...they go out of their way to make you feel at home! I would never go anywhere else...MILLIE FOREVER!!!!! more

A Blessing For Blondes! 7/25/2008

If you get highlights or color you know it isn't easy to get the results you are looking for! Thankfully I found Millie at Rumm and don't have to worry anymore. Before Rumm, I either had dark roots a week after my appointment, brassy tones, or my hair looked bleached out. Not to mention that my hair was completely unhealthy. Millie takes my natural hair color and uses it as my lowlight for contrast to the pattern of highlights that she has created. I love the contrast. Not only does it make my trips to the salon alot less frequent, but my hair color looks 100% natural and is back to healthy!! I no longer go to the salon and have to wonder what my hair will look like when I leave. It is consistent every visit. Being blonde is easy afterall! Irina has been cutting my hair, and she gives me the trendy looks I am looking for, and offers her expert advice when needed. Her professionalism and talent are amazing. Only colorists I trust 7/10/2008

I found Russell and Millie after just walking into the salon where they worked. I was hoping someone could repair a bad highlight job on the spot. I've never gone anywhere else since. I didn't live close, but the drive was worth it. I followed them from that salon to their new salon, Rumm Color Studio. It's a great feeling to leave the salon satisfied everytime. I get compliments on my hair all the time. My whole family goes to Rumm for color and cuts. I highly reccomend it. Cons: Not a one more

Getting hair colored is not cheap, so it better look great! I have been to many high end salons, with expert colorists, and I have finally found the place that exceeds my expectations. RUMM Color Studio on Windward Pardway is an up-scale beatiful studio that treats their clients with the upmost respect! My hair color and cut are the best I have ever had, and I am always asked who does my hair. I have had my hair foiled by Russell and Millie for years. They are the best! I always love my color and appreciate their suggestions on how to change my color to match my skin tone during the various seasons. Recently I had my hair straightened by Lauren Carlson at the salon. Rumm is one of the few salons that does a new protein treatment which straightens and protects your hair. It is wonderful and I highly recommend it for those who have naturally curly hair that gets a little out of control during the summer months. The keritin treatment has left my hair soft and manageable and has cut down on the amount of product I need to control my hair! My high maintainance hair is now low maintainance hair!! well worth it! more

Simply the best 6/25/2008

I started seeing Millie over 2 years ago with a hair-coloring mess on my head. She guaranteed me it would take a few months to get my hair looking normal again, and she was right. Millie is a complete professional and always does a great job. So is Russell, who I have used when Millie wasn't available. I started using Erica for cuts a few months ago and what I like about her is she does exactly what I ask her to and always does a great job, too.
