Millie has been coloring my hair for 3+ years now, and has done nothing but an excellent job. She takes a lot of time to make sure that my hair is exactly the way I want it. Coloring your hair can be very damaging, and she is always very careful to make sure that it is not overprocessed. Although the studio is over an hour away from my house, I would not even consider another salon! I recommend Millie and Russell to everyone, they do a fantastic job and I am always pleased! Love RuMM 6/20/2008

I love RuMM! What an awesome salon. Millie has been coloring my hair for a couple of years now and it always looks fabulous. The decor of the salon is beautiful and there is always a welcoming feeling. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I recommend them to everyone! Great Salon in Great Location 6/20/2008

I have been using Millie and Russell to color my hair for 8+ years now. They are very knowledgeable and have great skills. Coloring my roots can be a little tricky at times, and they have learned the secret to getting it right. Pros: Skills, Decor, Location, Service, Beverages Cons: Can't Think of Any more

RuMM is a beautiful and relaxed salon where everyone is friendly, accessible, and professional - something hard to find in Atlanta! I use to jump around from salon to salon trying to find a great colorist and finally found Millie years ago, I had to follow them when they opened up RuMM. I recommend them any chance I get! AFTER MOVING HERE FROM LA, I JUST KNEW I WOULDN'T FIND A COLORIST THAT WOULD SATISFY ME...BOY WAS I WRONG. I FOUND RUSSELL AND MILLIE 7 YEARS AGO AND HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK (EXCEPT AT THE BACK OF MY HAIR TO CHECK OUT THE AMAZING COLOR!). REFUSING TO AGE, THEY COVER MY STUBBORN GRAY HAIR AS IF IT WAS NEVER THERE. I HAVE FOLLOWED THEM FROM THEIR OLD LOCATION TO RUMM AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE IN NEED OF A FABULOUS COLOR AND CUT TO RUMM. OK, NOW FOR THE SERVICE...AMAZING! Best Color In Georgia Hands Down 4/17/2008

For all you girls who love to color like me! I have been to many Atlanta, Athens, and metro salons trying to get my hair color just right. I always end up paying too much and saying "it's ok" about it. I thought I was going to have use the $10 box of color from now on because why spend $200 on the same thing? Millie is the best because she is incredible at color and adding dimension to your hair while making it even better than what you could have imagined. I think of her more as a hair doctor because she prescribes the best color and options that will keep my hair healthy and beautiful.She is an expert and I truly trust her opinion. Millie and Irena have been highlighting and cutting my hair for three years. I was introduced to them while visiting Georgia and now fly out there whenever possible to have the best highlighting and color I've ever experienced. It's certainly worth the trip! more

Best color and cut in the city! 2/19/2008

You will be hard pressed to find a better hair studio in the greater Atlanta area. Russell has been doing my color for years and I would not go to anyone else. That said, everyone in this salon is very talented. My daughter has spectacular results from Millie and Irina does a stunning job with my sister's color. As for cuts, I have seen beautiful cuts from all of the hairdressers. Personally I use Irina who is terrific with modern, flowing designs. Meghan does beautiful structured cuts, Erica is wonderful with long layered hair and Brittany does a great job as well. No matter who you choose, you will have a wonderful color and cut in a friendly, yet professional atmosphere. They are all pros! Pros: Expert Hair Care Cons: Pricey, but well worth it. You get what you pay for. more

HI! I AM FAIRLY NEW TO THE ATLANTA AREA. I'VE BEEN GOING TO SAME SALON FOR YEARS IN ANOTHER CITY AND WAS VERY PLEASED. SO,RELOCATING HAIR SYLISTS WAS OH, SO HARD!! I DECIDED TO GIVE RuMM COLOR STUDIO A TRY. I WAS LOOKING FOR BEAUTIFUL NATURAL HIGHLIGHTS AND MY EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED..MILLIE HAS BEEN DOING MY COLOR FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND IRENA HAS BEEN DOING MY CUT. THEY ARE "AWESOME." THE SALON ITSELF HAS A HIGH-END, MODERN FEEL, BUT NO SNOOTINESS WHATSOEVER TO BE FOUND HERE. Irina at Rumm Color Studio is a consummate professional when it comes to hair color and hair cuts. She has consistently kept my long blond hair in luminous shape. Irina will tell you if something will work or not based on your skin tone and facial shape. I have seen Irina correct color on other customers as well, taking lackluster over processed hair and turning it into something to brag about. Irina also is a precise and exceptional stylist, as well helping my hair grow out effortlessly, with expert cuts. Once your hair is colored Irina will get you on a schedule that will keep your hair looking great from appointment to appointment. Great Color 12/10/2007

A little over two years ago, I began searching for a colorist who would listen to what I wanted and at the same time point me in the right direction for what would look best. My search was filled with various stylists/colorists who were very expensive but my color still did not last and was not what I had asked for. Millie was recommened to me by an acquaintance and after my first visit I knew that I would be a permanent client. An added bonus was finding someone (Erika) in the same salon for my hair cuts. Millie and Erika both are very professional and go the extra mile to make sure that I am pleased when I walk out of the salon. After many bad experiences with numerous salons RuMM Color Studio has turned what used to be a dreaded visit into a relaxing and pleasant experience. more

Best Kept Secret in North Fulton! 12/9/2007

I'm scared to put a review out here because I feel like it's the best kept secret in North Fulton and I don't want to lose my ability to get an appointment! :0) I have used Millie and Russell and at least half of the stylists there for the last 4 years and, without a doubt, they are the best around. They cater to the individual clients needs and styles and provide input without the pressure you sometimes get at a salon. The service is consistent which I have found hard to find in a colorist and stylist. Nothing negative about this place or these people. I would NOT GO anywhere else to have my hair done!!! more

Best in Class Hair Color and Styles 12/6/2007

Finding the right colorist took me years. But, I finally found Mille and Russell. Now both have opened their own salon and I have to say....it is world class!! Having been a client of theirs for over 4 years I will drive 35 minutes to get the great cuts and color. I have tried several of their stylists and ALWAYS been excited by the outcome. What makes them great is their ability to do what is right for your particular look. I love to say....I knew them before all the World Class Awards...all of which are well deserved. Try them you will not be disappointed!!!!! more
