Quick, cost effective car maintenance. 4/21/2014

I got recommended Ron's by another employee at my delivery driving job. They were able to do some surprise maintenance on my brakes quick and for a lower price than other shops. They had my car ready the next day with great customer service too! more

Could have easily charged me for a new head gasket but the problem was a doubled o-ring oil filter. Nice when you can count on people. more

Reliable and Thorough 3/13/2014

They weren't able to immediately find what was wrong with my van's door locks so they called me to ask if they should take time to trace the wires. I said yes, and they not only found the problem and fixed it but also replaced the cabin air filter, which evidently was clogged since before we bought the car. So not only is the problem fixed that I took the car in for, but they found and fixed another one at the same time. more

Found problem and fixed it promptly 3/3/2014

Was having some steering/alignment issues which were fixed extremely fast. Workers were nice and wanted to help as much as possible. Nice place to go for students at Iowa State. more

The folks at Ron's were courteous and helpful in trying to diagnose the issues with my car and in their recommendations. They did not push for unnecessary repairs, and were upfront about their ability to fix the issues my car had. more

Fantastic service. I have a daughter at Iowa State and sent her down after the holidays with my oldest car, a 1996 Maxima with 254,000 miles. In this cold weather, it wouldn't start and I called Ron's. Richard said he would take care of everything, even picked up my daughter, to take her to the car's location and got it started. Kept it overnight, repaired it, and checked a few of the other systems. And, I thought the bill would be four or five times what Ron's charged. If you have a student at Iowa State with car trouble - call Ron's. Don't hesitate. more

Great service, friendly staff, everyone seems very knowledgeable and honest. I really appreciated receiving what I felt was a fair and thorough assessment of my vehicle. The only downside was it seemed like the oil change and installation of new air filters was really expensive. more
