I highly recommend this place for men who want to improve their skin condition. I personally think the price is reasonable considering the midtown location and that they provide extras such as short waiting times, free touch ups (if you purchase a treatment package), and necessary after treatment creams just to name a few. If you think they are expensive just think about the really expensive doctor's visits. As far as I'm concerned, most doctors don't have a clue or don't want you to get effective treatment because then they'll lose a customer. They don't have Chris Karavolas's expertise and knowledge. If you have any reservations Chris, his wife, or wonderful staff will personally talk to you about the process. The place is more tailored to women and has a girly feel to it, but don't be fooled. Hi,\r I've found R&J thru the recommendation of a friend. After trying some others in the NY area and being frustrated with the service, I was about to give up and start to accept my embarrassing facial hair. My friend told me that there is a dependable hair removal place in NY where I can actually be treated well and be comfortable with my face. I am so glad to have listened to my friend and take a chance with R&J. My facial hair is gone and I?m planning to go for my underarm area once I finish traveling overseas in February. Great experience; very happy with results 12/5/2008

I just finished a six session package and I'm very happy with the results. This experience was my first with laser hair removal, so I was a bit nervous about the costs and experience. However, I can say, without a doubt, that the results justify the costs. Plus, the staff is terrific and always goes out of their way to make you feel very comfortable. Great results, definitely worth the money 9/20/2008

I haven't yet fully completed my package, however, I'm already extremely satisfied with the results. Some of the staff can seem a bit cold, but I think many mistake either icy demeanor for the fact that they are extremely busy. The owner, Chris, really knows his stuff and is extremely dedicated to his work. At the end of the day, the most important things are the results you achieve and the value factor. Impressive, but expensive 8/20/2008

I am in the process of researching a hair removal treatment for myself and maybe for my sister. I am a guy and looking for full body treatment. I went in to R&J for consultation a couple of weeks ago. I've also consulted with two other places in Manhattan.

Honesty 8/19/2008

I booked my consultation over the phone. The front desk was very informative with pricing and expected results. The treatment on my lower legs was virtually pain free, except around my knees. I have some stubbles now but most of the hair is gone. I wanted to treat my upper lip but they advised me not to, as the hair was very fine and with some of them being blonde. I have been to several consultations. Some places overstate who they are, yet when I walk in, they can not deliver on their promise. Consultations are usually quick, not much information and usually one laser in the center with one room. Romeo & Juliette, on the other hand is very busy and difficult to get an appointment at times. They have several treatment rooms and many lasers. I have not started with them yet but I have made an appontment for next week. They seem knowledgeable, experienced and from my research, they deserve more than what is written about them. Pros: experience, lasers, reputation more

I am ready for my wedding 8/18/2008

I started laser treatments 3 months ago on my arms, upperlip, underarms. I am getting married this September, so I arranged my treatment frame as such that I will be hair free at my wedding. My technician at Romeo Juliette personally sets my visit dates arround my wedding date, so that I do not have to worry about my hair cycle. I am in perfect shape right know, my only regret is that I should have started my bikini which I was planning to start after my wedding, maybe I can do one session prior. I got amazing results so far. My arms are growing back so slow and so fine. Thanks to Romeo Juliette and their great techs and to Chris I am able to accomplish my dream. more

Arms treatment almost complete 8/18/2008

I have always had problems with my arms because of my thyroid situation. I had been to my Doctor who suggested laser hair removal. So I gave it a try. I have had three sessions so far and I am happy with the results. I feel confident to wear short sleeves again. My technicians have been very good. They always make me feel good and have been instrumental in boosting my confidence. When I am running late for my appointments, they always findf a way to take care of me. I am from India and I had heard alot of Romeo & Juliette. Nearly all my friends are going there and they are all very happy with their results. So, I tried their services two months ago. Well, I am now hooked. My bikini is almost hair free and my ingrowns are gone. My face looks and feels great. They are getting a lot of recommendations from Dermatologists in the City as they specialize in this procedure. When I went to my Doctor and told him that I was going to R & J, he told me that he has sent lots of customers there. Now I see why. Facial hair 8/18/2008

I have always had trouble shaving. Whenever I did, I broke out particularly around the neck and the chin area. Well no more. After 4 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart, my hair on my face is almost gone. I have a few patches here and there but they are lessening with each treatment. Chris treats me, as he feels that I am a challenging case. Now I see why they are so highly rated. They really care.
