Miracle Treatment 2/4/2009

I have really stubborn and coarse hair and shaving used to make my legs like sandpaper and then it would grow out almost daily. I found R & J listed as a top hair removal place and called immediately. I did not realise that it was almost 7 pm, and got the owner on the line. He was very courteous and gave me detailed information. I went to them on a Sunday ( most places are not open then) and am satisfied that after 6 treatments, I no longer have to shave my legs. The best part is that I can afford the treatments and I will be working on other areas until all hair is abolished. I am really impressed with the dedication and the professionalism of the staff and Chris is so informative and gracious. This is good for guys too ! 2/4/2009

I have always had a problem with hair on my back which would show when I wore my shirts open. Being of darker skin type, I was also self conscious about excessive body hair. I am not married and my social life could use improvement. I figured that I would benefit from getting rid of the hair on my back. One of my compatriots was shaving his back, but I was worried about having to shave my back daily, and as I live alone, this was not practical. I saw an ad for R & J and thought I would check them out. I called and spoke with Chris and was very impressed with his knowledge. I made an appointment right away and have been treated very well. I am happy that the hair is disappearing with no discomfort. I also like that the owner is a man and you can feel at ease there. I recommend R & J strongly to guys who have excess body hair. **WONDERFUL PLACE, WONDERFUL PEOPLE, WONDERFUL RESULTS** 2/4/2009

I am extremely happy with the results and hospitality of r&j laser hair removal. I am of Indian descent, and as you can imagine - my skin-type is very difficult to deal with! I have had friends and family members who have gone to other places and have not been happy with their results (as the indian skin-type can be difficult to treat), and they were shocked by my results. In just three sessions, virtually all the hair on my lower legs is gone. My under-arms are clean, and i'm extremely happy with my upper-lip as well! The staff is AMAZING! Before I went to r&j - I meticulously did my research on so many other places in NYC, and actually visited/consulted with a handful of other places (which would make a story in and of itself!), and this was the place I chose and am extremely happy with my choice. Although it may seem that they are slightly pricier than other places, when you buy the package and do the math which includes the complimentary clean-ups, you are actually saving money! They have years of experience, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about the process and treatment and will patiently sit down with you and explain everything! I picked their brains before making me choice. After all, this is my body, and I wanted to make sure that these people knew what they were doing!!! Conscientious and Attentive Service 2/4/2009

Like may women I have some facial hair which I was tweezing. One of my friends had success at R & J and recommended them. I hesitated at first, but because i could not always tweeze the hairs under my chin, I thought I would give them a try. Mr. Karavolas was very attentive, polite and professional. He treated me in and I have not had any irritation as I used to from the tweezing. I also felt well cared for and was given careful attentive service. Highly recommended 2/4/2009

My wife is coming here for her bikini treatment. She brought me in for my back. I was hesitant at first but after treating a test area, I decided to go through with the procedure. The treatment lasted about 35 minutes. It hurt a bit but the results are really good. They told me to come in every 8 weeks. I like what I see ( Or not see ). Check them out before you make your decision 2/4/2009

I used to go to Lite touch laser but they closed down and I lost money with them. I had done a consultation with Romeo and Juliet one year ago but I chose pricing over service. No more ingrowns 2/3/2009

This place is awesome! I'm a 40 yr old guy that has had ingrown hairs on my face for years now. After trying many different medications and treatments, a doctor suggested i try laser hair removal if i wanted to take care of the issue once a for all. Not only do i have skin as smooth as a baby's butt (and look 10 years younger), I never get any ingrown hairs and i never have to shave anymore. I met the owner Chris when i first came to R&J, and he's literally been there everytime i've gone for a treatment - the entire staff is very discrete and very nice. I was so frustrated with my previous experiences at laser hair removal salons until I met Chris at Romeo and Juliet. Chris and his staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Although hair removal could be an extremely embarrassing and difficult experience - the staff at Romeo and Juliet always make me feel comfortable and informed about the process, pricing, and expectations. Worth the trip from Boston 2/3/2009

I have a hairy back and wanted to get laser treatments. After reading all the reviews here and on many other sites , I decided to come all the way from Boston for a treatment. It was definitely the right decision. Chris took me in, gave me so much information that I decided to get treated right there and then. They used the Gentlemax on me and the energy was set at 20 Joules. Very strong treatment but my skin took it well. The next day, everything looked perfect. I have PCOS and most places that I have been to for a consultation did not give me much information let alone know what PCOS was. At R & J, once they found out about my condition, they asked me about any treatment regimens that I am going through and my history. No more waxing 2/3/2009

I used to wax my bikini and get terrible rashes. No more. After finding Romeo & juliette and signing up to their program, I have nothing to worry about any more. The coarse hair is gone and I probably need 2-3 more sessions to be hair free. I may start other areas as well but I want to finish with the bikini first. Pros: No more waxing more

The best in city! 2/3/2009

I have tried everything to remove facial hair and had bad experiences wherever I went. I tried Romeo and Juliette last year atfer reading about them and have had great success. My beard was so thick it never looked like I shaved. After about 5 sessions here, it is all gone. I'm so happy to to not have to shave anymore and to look so clean cut. Thanks Romeo and Juliette! No hair left! 2/3/2009

I'm a young female that went to Romeo and Juliette because of their positive reviews in magazines and websites and after a few friends went there and loved their results. I must admit they are that good. I got my legs, arms, and bikkini line done all at once about 3 sessions, and now have no hair left! By far the best laser hair removal spa in the city and tri-state area. I come in from Conneticut to get treated. I am a male who has done several parts of my body with much success. They have the best lasers and it shows in the results. I went to another place before them and was left patchy and had spots of hair left after several treatments.
