NO STOP. Don't do it! I don't care if you want to rent the Taj Mahal or a LODO loft. You will regret renting from Realm from the minute you sign the lease. there is no owner - you will NEVER get any response except from Shanon who must have had a very bad childhood because she takes out her frustrations on everyone she talks to. If I could turn back time, I would have NEVER signed a lease. Go with an on-site management company or a private owner. but if you like your sanity AND your money, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM REALM. Look them up on the Secretary of state's office -- they don't even list a registered agent for service of process -- because they don't want to give their names!! Just RUN the other direction and quickly. more

BEWARE!!!!!!\r \r The main office person Shannon is perhaps the rudest human being I have ever encountered. As tenants, we have always payed our rent on time and treated the property with the care we would our own home. This is irrelevant to Realm and especially Shannon as they seem to treat all tenants as criminals or deviants anytime there is the slightest issue or even inquiry posed to them.\r \r In all fairness, most maintenance requests have been handled promptly but do not expect much as far as quality (holes left unpainted & unpatched, mud dragged through your home).\r \r They are supposedly under new management but as a tenant you are unable to get a hold of anyone but Shannon. Even though we like our home I cannot recommend this management company due to the complete lack of customer service.\r \r Property Owners beware!!! Until they start taking their business seriously and hire competent help, it would be ill advised to have them represent your property. more

The property we rented ended up being perfect for us. I had been trying to shedule an appointment and I had asked to see it after business hours on a week night and they were very accomadating. Because of my schedule, its hard to make appointments and see properties and most companies do not show past a certain time. I explained that to the girl that answered the phone and she had me speak with the manager and he showed the property to me himself. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I am very satisfied! more

This place was just AWFUL! They were very rude to me, bordering on down right nasty! They were also dishonest and claimed that I had poor rental history when in fact, after I called my previous landlords, they assured me they were never contacted and that they would be more than happy to be positive references! So I guess this company had just flat out lied to me. I spoke with three different individuals promising different things and offering different facts! These people are AWFUL! I wish I had read all the other reviews! Not only that, but after providing Government documentation and Identificatioin I was hassled about my proof of employment. I'm a Soldier... thanks for treating me like Trash Realm, you won't get my business!!! more

To all property owners. The vast majority of tenants are very respecful, they pay their rent on time and take reasonable care of the property they rent. But, unfortunetly there are exceptions to every rule and owning rental property is no different. Some times there are tenants who are not respectful. They do not pay their rent on time and do not take care of the property they are renting. So, unfortunetly dealing with this type of renter can be quite difficult and mentally draining. This may be the biggest reason property owners hire property managers to manage their properties. A good property management company knows how to deal with the many positive aspects as well as the negative aspects of owning rental property. These are some of the reasons that I stopped managing my own rental properties and hired Realm Realty & Management to manage my propeties for me. They are worth their weight in Gold. more

We rented a condo from this property management company and had a horrible experience. First, when we moved in the garage door was broken and it took a month for Realm to get someone out to fix. Next, the heater broke during winter and I had to call three times before they got someone to come out, which took two weeks of no heat, ridiculous. The next problem was when Realm sent us an eviction notice because of unpaid rent. They stated that they never received our check. After I notified my bank, I realized that the check had been cashed almost a week prior. Come to find out that they credited another tenant for our rent check! They tried to charge us late fees and said we had to get out in 3 days. After they realized that they made the mistake, they never apologized and blamed us for not writing the address in the memo line. These people are so disorganized and inconsiderate that I would steer clear of using them for any rental purposes. The last straw came when we moved out. We cleaned the entire condo and left it in better condition than when we moved in and they still charged us for cleaning. Unfortunately we did not take pictures upon moving in so that was something that we had no control over, they got us by the short and curlies. They also told me that they do not do walk throughs upon moving out, they had me come in and sign the move out agreement before they looked at the apartment, that was my mistake again. Do not let them do this to you because they are lazy and looking to get all the money out of you they possibly can. That is a mistake that I will never make again. Beware that if you are considering a rental property managed by Realm that you need to document everything, take pictures, make copies and cover your a@# in every possible way because they are disorganized and not concerned about treating tenants with respect. They will rob you and laugh in your face. more

I rent a loft near Coors field from this company. I have been there for 5 years now. I love it and I don't want to move any time soon. I have had nothing but a positive experience renting from this company in every respect. They have always handled any issue or request that I have had with fantastic customer service. I appreciate them tremendously and I often recommend them and always will recommend Realm to anyone looking for a property to rent. The are awesome, period! Pros: Very acommodating! Cons: Absolutley none! more

Do NOT rent from or hire them to rent a property for you! They are extremely rude, unhelpful and very poor record keepers. We are currently trying to work out a dispute that I do not want to go into detail on at this time....but take my word for it they are TERRIBLE! Anytime we had a maintenance issue we had to follow-up 2 or 3 times before it was taken care of. Another example of poor customer relations was when our payment was delayed by the mail and they received it ONE day late and they still charged us a $140 late fee! We loved the place we rented from Realm Realty when we first moved in but after several weeks things started to fall apart. Paint peeled off the walls and on the counter tops in the kitchen and the bathroom. It is very loud and there is a crime problem. One evening the cops came into my neighbors apartment threw in a flash ban (g) and broke down the door. The apartment staff never communicated with their tennants about it. On top of that the parking lot was covered in snow from December until March. All neighbors were noisy and disrespectful The staff at Realm Realty were rude when asked to do things. They are more concerned with talking to each other than helping their tennants. I had things stolen from my car and felt very unsafe in this apartment towards the end. My roommate moved out 3 months early because of safety issues. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE you will hate it! Pros: N/A Cons: See Below more

It's my second condo i've rented from realm, been 3 and a half years now. Maintenance(the few issues i had) was taken care of to my satisfaction, and i think the girls in the office are awsome the one in the front is hillarious, even in the second condo they've taken thier time to show me many many others i was interested in. From day one in this 'Business Relationship' i've treated them as a friend and allways been pleased to recieve the same back. Pros: Friendly , Helpfull , reasonably priced Cons: I do miss the social networking of the larger complex's more

She's just awful! Honestly what a terrible representation of the company. Why don't they just remove her since so many people complain about her poor customer service skills. Realm Realty should really evaluate who is important. more

Realm had a property that I was REALLY interested in. On the day of my appt, I had to call earlier than the 1 hour time they ask you to confirm your appt and was rudely asked to call back at the 1 hour time. I explained that I was going into a meeting and wanted to make sure I would still have my appt. I called when I got out of my meeting and again the girl answering the phone acted like I interrupted her day or something, but she did confirm my appt. Just after hanging up, she calls me back to then tell me that the apartment couldn't be shown because the tenant wasn't available. Couldn't they have told me this the 2 other times I had talked to her? I asked her when we could reschedule and she said she would call me back and never did. I have since rented w/another company and I see that this place I wanted from Realm is still available. more

Not all business?s base there sole operation on customer service. We get customer service confused with common courtesy every day. Not all businesses offer the same type or level of customer service. The service depends on who the customer is and what relationships exist and what expectations are included in the product or service In order to warrant a review, the subject of the review usually is a person, place, or a thing The review of a place would include any place inviting or offering to accommodate. Good examples of a place would be a restaurant or hotel. Things can also be reviewed. The examples are many, may include movies, books and automobiles. We are a self serving society and we believe that our opinion matters no matter what it is or where it?s coming. In the end the only person that cares about your opinion is yourself! more

I hired Realm Property Management based on a referral. I was used to taking care of my own properties and did not want to give up control , but was really tired of the increasing demands on my time. Finding good responsible tenants is not always easy. Every tenant thinks they are an asset and most are reasonable to work with, but there are those that are very difficult from the start and I had come across a string of really difficult tenants. I lost out on rent and two of my properties were trashed. Over the years the process has taken its toll on me and I decided to let a management company deal with the problems. I wish I had decided to hire a management company a long time ago. I am very glad I hired Realm to manage my properties and I have a very good relationship with this company so far. I think for the most part they make good decisions and have put good paying renters in my houses. I am very happy to recommend Realm to anyone with a rental property that wants a property manager that looks out for the property owner! more
