I have been fond of Preferred Auto for many years. I don't know too much about fixing cars, yet one should be familiar with ones automobile. I very much like the interest of Preferred Auto in reason of the business having much more than ten year. I especially like the logo for the business. ************************************************************** A car lovers dream T-shirt: Plain/ cotton/yet some do like the nylon material....hm.. recipes for vinyl ( I really don't know), anyway plain Preffered Auto T-shirts, 'any car adorants dream. :) good regard & greeting, Car client whom values the integrity of transit. Good and Thorough 6/9/2015

I've been to Preferred a couple times, and they're great at being thorough. They check many things on your car, as well as consider several solutions (rather than a guess and check method). They've also been good about not being pushy with extra repairs they recommend. They will tell you it's recommended, but not dog you until you agree to do it. Trustworthy mechanics 5/29/2015

I have been using Preferred Automotive for about twenty years for mechanical car maintenance. The technicians are honest and consistently provide good quality services. Not your ordinary repair shop. Extrordinary service!! 5/21/2015

Have you ever been away from home in a different state and your car breaks down? Just hope that it is in the Bethesda/Rockville area. There you will find an auto service garage that you wish were in your home town. Preferred Automotive is an oasis in the " desert of fear of getting taken". They make you feel at ease, take your car in right away, and they are craftsmen. Also, their charges are very fair. I would highly recommend Preferred Automotive. Gary & Mike & crew are always there to help in an emergency or even routine maintenance. We have a had a decades long relationship. I will miss them when I finally settle in retirement in Delaware. Nice people 4/29/2015

I was very happy with the customer service and the work done on my car. What I'm not happy about is the calling and emailing afterwards about leaving a review, I understand one email to ask, but not several and a phone call too, it's a bit much. I was very worried about driving without a mirror but they had me come in the very next day and took barely 30-45 minutes to put the new one on. The prices were fair and I will definitely be back. more

I have been taking my car(s) to Mike and Gary at Preferred for many years. First my Toyota, then an Acura Integra and now my Subaru. They have always been extremely professional, knowledgable and pleasant. Since I keep my cars for 10 years +, it is also important they have always been upfront about when its not worth it to make repairs on my vehicle. My latest visit was for rear wheel hubs and bearings which required a stay overnight to complete the work. They arranged for a rental and covered the cost which was above and beyond what was required. more

I Like Them Because They're Honest! 4/1/2015

Preferred Automotive is very good; so good, that I prefer using them over the dealership. This is mainly because they are so personable and nice at Preferred. I've used them for several years and their level of customer friendly service has remained the same. They tell you what you need to have done to take care of your car and remind when you need to come in for an oil change. I've predominantly used them for oil changes but, recently, they replaced my battery and repaired my battery cables. Their prices are reasonable and I highly recommend them! more
