Hunting for laptop parts can waste a lot of time and be risky. PartsPeople is a solid, quality solution. I fix the laptops myself, but i don't have to guess and hope that i'm getting the right part any more. more

Fantastic Customer Service! 1/12/2010

I ordered 3 parts for an old Dell Laptop on Sunday night and they were delivered to my door on Tuesday evening! That was great, however, there was one item missing! I triple sure it was not in the box. It was not damaged nor compromised. I called the next Tuesday morning, talked to a really nice guy, Ben, told him my situation and he immediately shipped the missing part to me. I am a customer service professional myself and I commend Ben on his fantastic service! Have recommended Parts-People to all of my friends and family who own a Dell laptop! more

1-1/2 Star Treatment 1/12/2010

I have mixed feelings. My first repair went awesome (quick, affordable) and got the screen to work again. Unfortunately, it came back with two screws and pads missing from the screen which is not a huge deal, but seemd incomplete. My second "repair" the fellow found one of the sources of my problems and did not fix it! He discovered the little nib that lets the computer know the screen is open gets stuck and returned it unfixed. Still sticks and he did not even address the issue about the laptop wanting to operate in battery mode even when it is plugged in. Mixed feelings. more

Above and Beyond ... 1/12/2010

I found parts-people.com a couple of years ago through Google. I ordered pretty much the entire outer casing, the palm rest and a charger for my Dell 640m. Someone called me to confirm the type of laptop I owned in order to be certain I had ordered the correct parts. I remember thinking how awesome their customer service was. I was also ASTOUNDED when the parts arrived 48 hours later ... in CANADA, from TEXAS !!! I couldn't believe it !\r \r A couple of weeks ago, I ordered another cover for my laptop because a hinge had broken. I ordered a B graded cover because my laptop is 3.5 years old anyway. Well I have no clue why it was graded as being a B because it didn't have a scratch and came delivered with clear protective paper stuck to the cover as if it was new. I ordered the part on Christmas Day (Friday) and received it on the TUESDAY.\r \r I am not afraid to suggest Parts-People to anyone who owns a Dell. Their prices are great and service is above and beyond. more

I ordered a piece for my Dell that Dell wanted to charge almost $90. Parts-People charged me less than $25. It was delivered quickly and would highly recommend them. I would use them again in a heartbeat. more

Saved the Day! 1/11/2010

I was in desparate need of an adapter for my Dell M1330. After calling Dell and finding out it would be about $80 and several days for delivery, I was quite distressed. I went online (on another computer) and found Parts-People. Not only was the adapter about $30 less, it also was in my hand in about 48 hours. Thank you Parts-People! more

We order for the first time from this company. We took the 2-days delivery. We got the order on time. But as we opened the package, we noticed a small part of the video card was broken. Next day We called the phone number on the invoice and described the problem and asked for an exchange with over the night mailing and we accept the difference of the mailing cost to 4-days delivery. They did it. We got the exchange part next day with a mailing label for the returning part. We installed it. It worked fine. We are very satisfied with this purchase and this company. more
