I went to Paris Parker in Jefferson and Levar did my hair. He was the bomb. Very professiona. He's not there anymore. Does anyone know where he may have moved to?

Worst

The only way to schedule an appointment online is to pre-pay. Who wants to do that?

My stylist was Kristen and she was excellent. I came in with long hair and left with a fabulous short cut that was exactly what I was looking for. I am now a return customer for sure! more

Good Spa atmosphere, mediocre facial 2/1/2012

The spa set up was pretty good and all of the employees were very nice. Unfortunately the actual facial was slightly lacking in technique. The products were fine it just somehow all felt slightly 'amateur'. I don't treat myself often to any luxuries so it was definitely disappointing. I think I will go back but try a different aesthetician. more

Wonderful Massage 1/30/2012

Jennifer did an amazing job on my massage. I felt great when I left. I would have liked a little more time before the massage to relax and clear my mind. I arrived 20-25 minutes before my appointed time and was taken right back. Not complaining about that at all though. Great atmosphere and I will definitely be back. more

I think Jami is probably the best stylist I've ever seen, and I've seen good ones in large cities. She made it easy to get the hair cut and assured me my curly hair would still be curly after the cut. The only problem with this visit, and it's the first time it happened, is that for some reason I had to wait 2 hours to see Jami. I knew my massage would finish at 1:30, and I was supposed to see Jami at 2:30. But I had to wait until 3:30, and I had to draw attention to that. Not sure what went wrong, but soured my mood a bit. However, I will continue to get my hair styled by Jami if possible. She cuts curls very well. more

I just recently visited the Paris Parker Aveda institute on Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. I must say that it was a delightful experience and that is hard to say considering I was going for a bikini wax. The people were very nice and not pushy or rude and they also knew what they were doing. The woman I had was well experienced and even have me tips on post waxing regimens. I definitely recommend ! more

Great people and service 1/13/2012

Mary is a fantastic esthetician and is always on time, very friendly and extremely proficient in her work. I was scheduled for a massage with Nick following my appointment with her. During my appointment, Mary and I discussed what I prefer in my massages. She shared my thoughts with Nick prior to my massage. I have had massages in numerous spas in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and even Sedona, NM. This was by far the best massage I've ever received. Nick is well skilled and very nice. Combined with the new pricing, this is a treat I'll enjoy often. Thank you Mary and Nick! more

Deep Tissue Massage & Facial 1/11/2012

Although the massage was very well-done, the technicians were very professional, & the atmosphere was extremely serene and soothing, I had issue with the fact that I could have received a $50 value massage instead of an $80 massage with a "Master." Jinny came recommended and was excellent, but I was never told that she had special costs attached. The mini-facial that was offered over the phone was nice, but not worth $35 (not even close). Next time I'll know to ask in advance (though I think this information should be offered over the phone when people -especially new clients - make appointments) and to warn people of this hitch when I make a referral to Paris Parker. All in all, I very much enjoyed my time there. more

Maggie Is awesome! 1/6/2012

I have seen Maggie 2 times for a Brazillian wax and she's awesome. I used to go to another salon and get this done and the people were nice, but the appointments always seemed to take forever and I feel as though Maggie is more knowledgeable and trust her answers to my questions more. She's a keeper for sure! more
