Pann Home SVC

Pann Home Services has done a lot of things over the years. They hooked up a kitchen sink, replaced toilets, and replaced my hot water heater. I think Pann is expensive, but that's my only gripe. The plumbers have been great. They are nice and responsive. more

I've been with Pann Home Services for about seven years. The first time I used them, I called them when one of my pipes broke. I found them online, and I called them right away. They came that same night. After that, I used them for everything. Most recently I used them when my condenser for my heating was too old and I needed a new system. They installed a new one, and they fixed my emergency heating. I trust them, and they're very friendly. They gave me their cell phone number, so I can call them directly. The person that comes, who I always request, is able to answer any questions I have if I'm having a problem. They are very approachable and reliable, so you can trust their service! more

I've been using Pann Home Services for years now, and they are always the most reliable. They come when they say they're going to come. I've had experiences with others where they would say they were coming and then not show up. Pann has nice people, too, and that's always good! more

Pann Home Services is terrific! We've been using them for five years. They take care of our heating and cooling systems and keep them in excellent condition. They make routine checkups to make sure they're functioning well. They always accomplish their job and diagnose any problems in due time. They're very reliable. Pann Home Services put in a couple of water heaters. They also replaced the head in my step-in shower. Both of these projects were done very expediently. There were no delays or anything like that. They were here when they said they would be. Everything was finished up when promised. more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I moved into a home with a propane fireplace and was converting it to gas. Gas company came in and hooked up. Plummer came in and hooked up. Still, we smelled gas. WEEK 1: (10/14/13) called a fireplace company - said two weeks to send someone out. Called Pann, one week someone could come out. Went with Pann. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! WEEK 2: (10/21/13) Week later guy showed up in last half hour of scheduled time 8-4:30, (AFTER I CALLED at 3:30 PM and they said "oh, well the guy was on his way"....the guy showed up at 4 PM). After half hour, guy said there's a part we need because it was leaking gas. Estimate over $600 and I had to pay over $300 on the spot. Said part would be in within a week and they'd call. WEEK 3: (10/28/13) - NO RESPONSE SINCE LAST WEEK I called. After going through a couple of transfers some guy said they did not see the order, but he would check and call me back. WEEK 4: (11/4/13) - NO RESPONSE SINCE LAST WEEK I called. After a couple of connections, talked to "Mike". I wanted a refund. Mike said the part already left Lennox and somewhere in New York. He would refund if I chose, claiming he would eat the cost of the part. I decided to wait since it was in transit. (BIG MISTAKE #2) Mike said he would contact me ASAP when the part arrived. WEEK 5: (11/11/13) - NO RESPONSE SINCE LAST WEEK Called back and demanded a refund of my over $300. They said I would get a call back. Mike called back and said he told me the part did not ship yet but he could not check because the company was closed for the holiday....and that is what he told me the "other day". I reminded him that LAST WEEK it was NOT what he stated. He fought over what he told me, that they were waiting for the part to originally ship last week and he had to check to see if it had shipped at all, but he couldn't since they were closed ; which to me, was absolutely false! It has been four weeks since they "supposedly" ordered the part and after multiple promises "the part was shipped" we are still told it has not shipped yet. Again, I have asked for a full refund. remains to be seen if they still try to stick me with the technician bill for spending well less than an hour finding a leak. I will have to repay this again with another company, for the technician, but to me, it will be well worth it. This company is clueless and seems to me that they tell their customers whatever it takes to hang up the phone. more

When I need Pann Home Services, they take a little while to come, but they always do. They're expensive, but you get what you pay for. I don't have any really bad experiences, but I don't care for the way they break their work down. If you're having work done on heating, then they need to go find an electrician outside the company to come in. It's a little annoying. The people who do come are generally very polite, very friendly, and very confident. They did good work. more

They are perfectionists. The job Pann Home Services does is just perfect. The only complaint I've got is the cost, which is to be expected. It's been several years that we've been working with them now. They fixed the furnace; they put a new hot water tank, dishwasher, and disposal in; they put a hole in the chimney in the basement so we have a way to clean it out; and they just got through fixing some plumbing in the bathroom. I know they do the job right and I'm not going to get cheated. The service people are very friendly and gracious. They're very nice. It's the best place to go around here! more

I called Pann Home Services in the middle of the night with no heat and they were here in half an hour and fixed everything. I have them here for a yearly cleanup and their service is neat and courteous. They're a dream! Most people I know wouldn't hire Pann because they think it's expensive but then they hire some cheaper service who does a half a** job and then they have to pay someone else--they end up paying double anyway! I've been using Pann Home Services for at least five years now. Recently, I had them inspect my A/C unit. I trust them and they've been great each time. I've never had any issues. more

I called them up saying "I had no hot water," and they had someone here the next day. Our water tank in our basement one day turned into a waterfall. We called them up. Based on what they said to us we went with a tank-less water heater. They installed it the next day. They only came upstairs to ask questions when they had to. The workers were friendly, very nice, and efficient. No problems or anything. After the weekend, they came back to check to make sure that everything was working. Then, Michael Pann called me personally to make sure that everything was doing well after it was installed. They were very conscious of their customers. They go above and beyond. They were really assessing our situation and needs rather than just trying to get more money out of us. The quality was very good. I have already recommend them. They've just been amazing. more

I've had a 20+ year relationship with Pann Home Service and my experience has always been really good. They train technicians so that you get somebody who knows the stuff and is prepared to troubleshoot. The worker comes prepared, has the skills, and has the training. I had about half of my home remodeled and they installed a radiant floor heating system. They actually convinced me to do that. At first I wasn't sold, but it's been wonderful. I replaced my furnace and it's been excellent. I now have something that heats the water as needed instead of a tank water heater. It is efficient and doesn't need replacing. Pann Home Services has people on call that can do anything you need. When you have a problem, it sometimes isn't an isolated problem so you may need technical skills and experience to come together from a variety of areas. It might be more than just plumbing, there may also be carpentry. They don't just come in with an idea, they cater to you. This house was built around WWI and the pipes laid down at that time must have opened up. The sewage pipe was leaking. I think of it as a huge U pipe so we started to get back up. They had to dig up the basement cement and replace the whole pipe. I don't know if an ordinary plumber could do that. The way they ascertained what was needed was impressive. It's been perfect every since. I used to call the town and have them clear away the roots and I haven't had to call them since. Whatever the town's connection is hasn't been a problem since the work was done. It may have cured the problem. It took a headache away. This is the kind of thing that they can do. They approach a problem with their many technicians and they find a solution. They also have very good customer service. I can't speak highly enough of Pann Home Services! more

We had a leak in our basement and Pann Home Services tore up the floors to figure out what was wrong. One of the reasons for why we chose to go with this company is that they provide integrated services for repairs and hiring a separate contractor is not necessary. Overall, they did good, thorough work. We are happy with what they were able to do. more

I looked all over for someone to fix my fireplace but no one wanted to fix it because they had not done the installation. I searched online and found Pann Home Services. I gave them a call to see if they could help and they had a young man come out for them. The young man got the fireplace working and he gave me some very good suggestions. I'm happy with his service and I would use them again. more

We've used Pann Home Services for a lot of things, mostly heating and plumbing. It's always been good. They show up on time. They're very organized about staying in touch in terms of when they will show up. It's a major problem with other people but they are really good at keeping track of reservations. They show up and budget their time. Everything works when they're done. more

I had a heater that wasn't working, and they have repaired it. They put a new electric switch in. The switch no longer is the same color, the outer part of the heater is brown and the switch is white. I didn't like that. This was my first time using them, they do try to sell their services, they really wanted to clean my heater. They were not too pushy though. The workers were very friendly. more

I contacted Pann Home Services and they were able to come out and give me an estimate about a week after I called. The estimate was higher than I expected, but due to the weather, I had to go with them. They came out a few weeks later to actually do the work. They were very professional. They took a 50 deposit though, which I didn't expect them to do. more

They were just really helpful with installing the washer and dryer in our basement. They sort of put up a lot of pipes and completed everything to make sure it would work for us. more
