PC Laptops

I have done business with these guys since they started. I have had them build four machines for my business and personal use. They all rock! The customer service and turn around time can be slow due to the backlog of computer repairs they do. Most repairs are not of systems they build by the way. Having to bring in the system for a software issue is a drag. I wish they would do a remote session when possible as the nearest store is 40 miles from me. I would not buy a computer from anyone else. They now what they are doing and do it well. more

Honestly, I felt so pressured when I went into the Riverdale PC laptops store! I've never had such a pushy salesmen! (not just one pushy sales guy trying to take advantage, but two!) They wouldn't tell me the prices until I answered all their questions. Plus, they advertise no credit check, when um, yeah they do....so...false advertising. Not impressed at all!!! Will NEVER go there again! more

PC Laptops is horrible! Last week our computer had a virus and kept crash dumping. We called them and they said we had to bring it in. They said there were eight other computers in front of ours, and it probably wouldn't be done for about a week. We said okay, and brought it to them. A week later, we call to see if it's ready and they haven't even started working on it. They're said it should be done in a couple of days. So a couple of days later, we call and they just keep giving us excuses and excuses. They told us that to fix the problem, they would have to wipe the hard drive clean. A whole other week later, we bring it home. All of our data had been erased. Everything! And it kept crashing. They didn't even fix the problem. So we bring it back to them and they put half of our data back on and it still crashes. They didn't do anything!! Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Absolutely appalling! They are disrespectful to customers, and blatantly lie to your face. One of the worst stores I have ever been to. more

PC Laptops is better than awesome! I had a Totally Awesome Computer Brand desktop computer that I bought. Totally awesome went away and PC Laptops took over my lifetime service warranties. WOW That computer got old and died I bought a PC Laptop Decimator with 2 video cards!! It’s perfect! It has duel video cardpower to run all my games at full settings and it comes with the lifetime service and parts warranty. I will never buy another computer again anywhere else!! These guys are excellent. If Dan the laptop man reads this I love your computers and staff! If your reading this check these guys out! I'm going to copy and paste this in a few other places so more people can read it!! Yay yay yay more

Their ad says ""We can fix any laptop."" So I call & am quoted $149 to fix my HP. When I get in the store the guy doesn't look at my machine. ""Those are disposable,"" he says. He won't talk about my machine & leads me to the new ones. He says, ""We charge 2 or 3 times more than the big box stores."" I ask a third time for someone to look at my computer. He just shows me another new one & ignores my request completely. I leave. I go six blocks away to an independent, locally-owned store. They fix my machine, give it to me the next day. Cost: $75. It works like new. Based on my experience, PC Laptop does NOT repair laptops. They are only interested in selling new ones at two or three times retail. more

Just wanted to tell you what good service I received the other day with a data loss problem I was having with my pc I had bought a year ago. I dropped my laptop and it would not turn on. I brought in and they had it working in minutes. The PC Laptops store is the best and helped me tremendously. Thank you Nicole more

My laptop is an HP and I got a very bad virus I couldn't get rid of. I messaged PC Laptops on Facebook and Zach took very good care of me and assured me they could fix it. He followed up the next day to make sure I was able to get into a store. I took my computer in and I got my computer back the next day, sooner than I expected. He also recommended the Esset NOD32 and they installed it on my computer so this won't happen again. The whole staff was friendly and was an amazing first experience. I will now be a PC Laptops customer for life. more

these guys were awesome! they totally helped me with my computer and cell phone stuff and spent as much time as we needed to without complaining. they were really helpful and showed me exactly what to do so I could do it myself as well. It’s been approximately 3.5 years since I purchased a desktop tower computer from PC Laptops. I don’t usually complain or compliment bad or good purchases from computer companies. This is the exception. This is probably the best pc I’ve ever built or bought in my life and it still working great today. I had my 500gig hard drive start to fail and they actually gave me a credit toward a 2 terabyte drive. I was skeptical about the lifetime warranty on this gaming desktop but I am a true believer. As a software developer by profession I could easily build my own computers but the warranty makes it totally worth it. Cami more

Bought a machine from them just one year ago. Hard drive failed yesterday and they will not replace it or fix it. Charging me another $150 for a replacement hard drive. They failed to recover any data from the prior machine and tell me they cannot recover data from this one either. Not at all what they advertise themselves as. If they cared so much, you would think they would live up to their word. I would not recommend them at all. I had a better time dealing with a big box store and received a product that lasted. more

They over charge hundreds of dollars on their computers for what you're getting, even if you were to buy a very similar(or better with accidental damage) warranty on a computer elsewhere. Be aware they only have a lifetime warranty on parts, after their regular 'wear and tear' warranty(5 years) expires you'll have to pay for labor yourself, and they don't distinguish between wear and tear and accidental damage when you buy the laptop, you've got to read the fine print carefully. more

I've had my computer in for service @ the orem location only once before (it's a 5 year old computer that's still lightning fast), but this time, I was more blown away than the last! Ethan was the technician that helped me, aside from having awesome facial hair, he had my computer diagnosed and fixed in 10 minutes! He even cleaned it, and carried it to my car for me! WTF who does that?! A stellar dude that works for the best computer company on the planet, that's who. Ethan, if you are reading this, I love you man. more

Yeah, lifetime repairs if you are willing to wait 4 or 5 days to get any thing done... which is fine since you paid 3X for a computer that is not critical to your business operation or personal projects. Oh, but wait, they realize the importance of this computer for your business, so for just a small fee of $185 they will bump you up in line and have your computer be the next one serviced. Hay, but then again, you should have bought TWO computers if this hardware is critical to your business! I suggest buying TWO off the self computers for HALF of what a PC Laptop computer cost and invest the thousands you save in other area's of your business. more

Outstanding service! I began my relationship with PC Laptops by filling out an inquiry on their website. I received a telephone call within minutes of the submission from Phil at the Orem store - closest to my home. I explained that I was ready to reenter the PC world after using a Mac for the past several years, and explained what I was looking for. I made an appointment to visit the Orem store to further discuss what I wanted in my new computer. Phil was very helpful and offered suggestions for my custom build machine. We agreed on a configuration, and I was told my custom laptop would be ready the next day. The new machine is performing beyond my expectations! I did have an issue about 3 weeks after purchase where the built-in trackpad quit functioning. PC Laptops lived up to their warranty and replaced the defective assembly without question. I'm very happy with the knowledgable staff and the professionalism of the store. Though I expect this computer to last many years, I would not hesitate to buy my next machine from PC Laptops. more

I just retired my 3 year old macbook and had a new PC Laptops epic laptop built for me. Now diablo 3 plays beautiful at full settings! Iâ??m so excited to play the new cod blackops2 the way it was meant to be played. Thanks guys for making these incredible computers. Alexio more

IMO PC Laptops has the best techs in the industry. I have been a customer since 2005 and appreciate the time taken to get me up and running fast when I have a meltdown. The warranty is priceless. I wonâ??t go anywhere else. Thanks guys! Christy more

I was typing up an essay for my Biology class and all of a sudden my computer locked. I was panicking but then I went on my other computer and found these guys. I called them and they told me to bring it in right away. I was so impressed that he was able to recover my work and thankful. I like the quick service and the fact they are 2 minutes away. more

I brought my PC to have a virus removed and the RAM upgraded. PC Laptop removed the virus just fine and installed the new RAM. After getting the system back, it began to crash every time it went to sleep or re-booted for the first time during a day. Returned to PC Laptop and they said it was my Windows XP causing the fault and they deactivated my 'sleep-mode'. They also relieved my concern about the new RAM saying it was good. I got my system back and it started to do the same thing so I brought back to PC Laptops for the 3rd time (2nd time for current issue). They then told me it was my video driver on the integrated mother board. It needed to have a new video card for $99. Now I have invested about $360 in repairs and upgrades on a 5 year old system, but if it works, then I have postponed buying a new computer for awhile. New card installed and back at home and it is still crashing and now the sound is dead. \r I could take it back for a third time, but I don't trust them. I think I was misled; perhaps intentionally or not, but I will NEVER go back there. My suggestion to you is be very wary if you chose to go here. Better yet, try someplace else. Also if your system is older as mine is, consider going to Best Buy, Cost-Co, or just about any other place and look at replacing your system rather than fixing it. For $200 more than I put into my crashing computer, I could have gotten a new system. I now wish I had. \r more
