i'll miss you 7/10/2005

Angela came recommend to me by a friend who called her the "eyebrow goddess." She was absolutely correct. I'm a self-proclaimed maniac when it comes to the brows which is why I'm in her room every two weeks for some much needed maintenance. Sadly, I'll be moving soon and it's too bad she can't move with me. It will take forever to find someone new. I'll make sure to stop in next time I'm back in CH for a quick pick-me-up. Great Salon 4/10/2005

After moving to the Triangle, I was hard pressed to find a great salon. After many attempts, I was thrilled to finally find Mina's. I now have a great haircut and great highlights that I continuously get compliments on and considering what my hair looked like before - this is a miracle. I defnitely recommend Mina's...I wouldn't risk going anywhere else. Pros: Great Value, Great Stylists more

Best all around salon in the triangle - love my hair stylist 4/8/2005

Great experience and they definitely live up to their name as the best in the Triangle (that is how I first heard about them when they won best hair salon in triangle by Metro magazine and a bunch of other places. All the people working there were great and the front desk was friendly and helpful when I came in. They have everything you need all at one place and all close to UNC - hair, body, skin and nail services which to me is a time saver not having to jump to different places just to have a day of pampering. They provide the big city salon experience in a comfortable environment, friendly service and convenient location. Other perks to me were the extended hours and that they are open 7 days a week which works for my odd working schedule. I'll definitely be back. Mina's Is *My* Number One Choice! 2/28/2005

Today was my second time visiting Mina's. Actually, I'd never tried lash-tinting before, but now I'm hooked! My eyebrows were a *wreck* going in; I emerged with beautiful and defined eyebrows - just as I requested. My brazilian wax was quick, and the least-painful I've ever had. Special thnaks to my esthetician, Angela, for making me feel fantastic! more

From the first contact i felt this place was different from many others the recepcionist guy is very helpful and polite, and the mani-pedi was the more relaxing experience I ever had, can't wait to book for my hair... Pros: recepcionist, flexibility, price more

Try this place! 1/14/2005

After recently moving to the area from CA and getting an awful haircut elsewhere, I tried this place--and was delighted! My stylist, Heather, was very friendly and did a great job of shaping up the wreck! I got numerous compliments on the cut. Would highly recommend! more

I highly recommend Mina's Studio. After receiving numerous bad haircuts at other salons in the Triangle, I tried Mina's. I finally have a great haircut and great highlights! I would defintely try Mina's if you haven't already. more

dared to bare 5/14/2004

I must say that my Mina's experience is worth sharing. For those of us who "dare to bare" (brazilian wax - eek!), this was the best wax I've had in quite a while. My esthetician, Angela, made me feel comfortable in what could have been an awkward situation. This was definetly the least painful brazilian wax ever. Great color - excellent salon 4/23/2003

My experience at Mina's was fabulous. I'm very picky (usually go to only one reputable salon back home in Chicago), but Mina's was right on par. My stylist, Stephanie, was extremely skilled. She gave me a color "correction" for a botched highlight job that I done on myself and it far exceeded my expectations. She new exactly what effect I was trying to achieve and was able give it to me despite the mess I had with my store bought product. I couldn't have asked for more and was overly pleased. I highly recommend Mina's, and Stephanie in particular. Pros: skilled professionals, friendly, great atmosphere more

Wonderful Experience 9/18/2002

I recently moved to the area from New York city and was eager to find someone who could provide the services that I was getting back home. Mina's was recommended to me by a friend who had her wedding makeup and hair done there and to my surprise I was completely satisfied. The staff was friendly and courteous. My first visit was to get a facial and waxing and I was impressed with both. The esthetician (Antonella) was both knowlegable and experienced and above all was very professional. more
