I have been going to TAMMY FELTNER for 10 years and I can vouch for her, as can my mom who is 80 years old. Tammy is the right age, youthful but experienced, and uplifting with a positive attitude. No whining from her - ever. And she will be your therapist too if you need it. She taught me: This is your life,not a dress rehearsal, get your act together. Wise words from the BEST color expert in the salon. She is approachable, not snooty, and will offer advice or just let you read while she is doing your hair. A definite plus is the stylist in the next chair. He's easy on the eyes and always makes me laugh. What a great guy! more

I have been going to Pat Stewart since I was 7 years old, and she has been cutting my mom's hair since college. Pat is simply the best! She is a perfectionist and will not let you leave the salon until your hair is exactly how you want it to be. She is also wonderful to talk to and I genuinely look forward to seeing her at my appointments. more

Ella knows how to cut short, long, curly and straight hair! I have had all of the above and she has done a superb job through every transition. When I had short hair, she made it look sophisticated and edgy at the same time. And now that I am growing it out, it is a painless process, because she knows how to cut hair in such a way as to make it look great even during the growing-out process. Ella is a gem! more

I finally got to visit Michael at the new salon off Manchester. I have been waiting a fair amount of time to get in because he is so popular and I had to work around my crazy schedule! It was well worth the wait. I am always nervous to let anyone cut my hair, whether it is an inch or 6 inches! We all feel the same way walking into the salon, knowing that your hair will have a change when you walk out. With Michael you will never be nervous! I was confident the minute that I sat in his chair. I waited 10 weeks to get my hair cut and now I want to come in as much as I can! I can't wait for my hair to grow out, so I can work with him again. I saw Casey at the new Manchester location, and I was extremely impressed. She and a couple other stylists there have a ""curly cut"" that they offer, with a consultation that teaches how to care for curly hair. She used the DevaCurl line on me, and I fell in love with the products. She was friendly and really knew her stuff, and she went step-by-step from shampoo to style, showing me how to get the most out of my texture. Finding a great stylist that can cut curly hair so that it is flattering is a rare thing, and I'm so glad I took the plunge and tried a new place. On top of everything else, it was affordable! I will definitely be returning to see Casey in the future! more

Michael Burgess is the BEST hairdresser in the WORLD and coming from someone like me that means something!! I just recently starting going to Michael Burgess and believe me when I say it was the best decision of my life!! For years now I have bounced from stylist to stylist in hopes that someone could possibly give me that new look and satisfaction I have been looking for. I am very picky about my hair and it was hard to find someone that took an interest in giving me what I needed. My search stops here because I have found the best! I had heard good things about Michael Burgess but my expectations were completely blown out of the water. Words cannot do justice to Michael's skill set or his passion for his job. He is the most distinguished, talented, knowledgeable hairdresser I have ever been to! Without saying anything he knew I wanted something completely different! Just by looking at me he knew what hairstyle would make me feel good about myself again, something I have been longing for!! Michael gave me an AMAZING angled bob that took 20 years off my look! I have NEVER in all of my years of getting my haircut gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and coworkers. Most hairdressers place you in the chair, wash your hair, cut it, and move on...NOT AT WILSON MEANS! At Wilson Means, it is an amazing experience! I was welcomed with open arms as being a new customer by the entire staff. Michael took a genuine concern in getting to know me and asking questions I forgot why I was there! I went to see Casey at their new location, Wilson Means Salon. She did a color and a cut for me. I have naturally curly hair, which is what Casey and a couple of the other girls there specialize in. First of all, she was so easy to talk to and I felt like she really cared and listened to what I was saying. She is also extremely knowledgable about curly hair. They carry a line called Devacurl and Casey went over all the products with me in detail. My hair turned so fantastic! She gave me a great color and my curls looked and felt amazing! I have already gotten so many compliments. My search is over, I have found my stylist!! more

Annie has been my hair stylist for about 4yrs now and evey time I see her she makes me look even better. She listens to what I want, gives honest feedback and advice and always sends me back out on the street looking amazing. I am always getting compliments on my hair, about how healthy it looks, the color, and cut. She makes me feel confident and beautiful. She is highly skilled with affordable prices. Her personality is warm and inviting, makes me feel welcome everytime. I have straight hair, but she is also specialized in curly hair. Seriously, if you want to look and feel beautiful, sexy, and confident go see Annie. I will never switch stylists again and you wont want to either after she works her magic with you hair. Annie has been my hair stylist for the past four years and always gets it right! She really listens to your comments and concerns to give you the style you want. Annie has done everything from a cut to a full dye job on me and I always leave the salon feeling FABULOUS! Recently she did a cut and highlights and everyone has said they love it and want the same style, I just tell them to go to Annie and she will take great care of you! Ella was professional and awesome while bringing my hair back to life she took the time to listen to what I wanted and needed to rock a new style and finally a winter color that was appropriate for me. Ella is amazing at what she does. I have been been to many salons in the Saint Louis area and have never been 100% satisfied with my hair. Typically I leave only to go home and wash my hair to start over or even worse take out my sizzors and try to fix something I don't like. Ella listens to what I want and executes it perfectly! I gave up on trying to have a hair style like someone in a magazine or on TV, they just never turned out for me.
