Just don't waste your money here! Med Tech is not that bad, but in the long run you will be better off! They let just about anyone in and your credits will NOT tranfer to another college! Teachers will quit in the middle of a quarter! more

STILL not impressed 2/5/2008

I have not recommended this school to anyone with half a brain. If you have a pulse, they will take you at this school. They want your money and will give you almost NOTHING you can't learn on your own and get a decent job out of. Don't be fooled. Medical coders are not made in 18 months, it takes a lifetime to become a good coder, and do NOT let these people tell you otherwise. more

Rip off 1/3/2008

#1 they are over charging for the programs so compare to real colleges. Do not believe that your credits will roll over to a real college either because they don't recognize MedTech. They lie to you to get you in the door. The student population is majority ghetto. Teacher turnover rate high. Anyone who took a course at MedTech is qualified to come back and teach it. Once they find out you get student loans/financial aid they really want you in and they do not give you your refunds you have to sign it over to the school. Talk to some people who went there, better yet find a graduate and see where they are working. more

I went here. The admin favors certain people, enforces rules when they like, changes rules when they like, and don't pre-screen for aptitude. Beware. more
