FAIL: Local number redirects to closed call center 11/11/2011

Saturday morning, website says they open 8-12. Website phone number forwards to closed call center. Am I going drive 45 minutes to 'hope' they have the part. No. Marcone = Fail. more

Great Place 4/13/2011

I've been to Marcone 3x after being referred there by a repair man. I bought a heating element for two different dryers and a stove heating element. They have good prices. They are not the most friendly sales people. However, I didn't go to the appliance store to make friends. They are very fast if you pre order your parts. I've never receive any harassment. However I was there with my husband each time. As far as the crappy neighborhood, that comes with the territory. Nice neighborhoods don't want an ugly warehouse. more

Worked for me 2/8/2011

Well, after reading these reviews I was very leery of going here but was pleasantly surprised. I tried Sears and A-1 Appliance first but they were out of my part. They both would have had to order it. I very much wanted to have my washer working by the weekend so was determined to find something locally. I called Marcone (yes, through a call center) and found that the had six of what I needed in stock! Yay, more than enough! Was treated fine - for the record, I'm a 37yr old female. Only complaint is that the store is in a pretty funky neighborhood. more

First of all I should have known better than to deal with a company that won't answer the phone local. You have to go through a call center. The call center could not find my part number although I had it right. Finally after the second call they find the part. I ended up not needing that part and tried to return it to the store.....guess what!!!! No refund....exchange or in store swap for the parts I actually need. I wouldn't purchase the parts I needed there...I told them I would go elsewhere. They act like they are all for the ""Do it yourselfer"" but with a crappy return policy like that, how can someone that has to do a couple of trial parts manage to fix anything at a good cost. I know better than to ever deal with them again!!!!! Cons: Awful return policy more

Horrible customer service 6/20/2008

I am a 39+ year old female homeowner. I went here for a part for my washing machine and was told I had the wrong part number, which I did not, and called ""Honey"" and ""Sweetheart"".\r Their 800 number was even less helpful.\r No woman who's attempting to fix her own washing machine should have to endure being treated as if she were stupid, and called ""Sweetheart"" by a strange man.\r I went to A-1, even though they were all the way in Bellevue - they were respectful and helpful. Try them first. Pros: condescending and sexist Cons: none, really more
