I've lived in Eugene six months now and have tried several "upper end salons" to my disappointment. Finally found my girl, Amy, who did a fabulous job on my cut and highlights. The receptionists were sweet and helpful (even did my makeup without charging me extra). I was pampered the entire time and the end result was the best ever! I will definitely be back!! Abby at London Hair does an amazing job with color. She really listens to what you want done and offers great suggestions if you are not sure what you want. I have left there every time with my hair feeling so soft and the color looking better than I had planned. The color also lasts longer than I have experienced from other salons. She is also really easy to talk to and makes it a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend her, you will be very pleased! more

So I spent a lot of money trying to get my darker hair lightened. I have had it done before, but wanted to spend the extra money for what I thought would be a great experience. The girl who did my hair was very nice, but she did not do what I asked her to do. I ended up with the same hair color I started with, only with tiny blonde streaks through it. I could have done that myself for WAY less money. I was pretty unhappy, so I didn't spend much time checking it out there, but when I got home, I noticed I had hair dye all over my ears, and the side of my face that has yet to come off. Even I'm not that sloppy when I do my own hair. For the amount of money that I spent,plus the five hours that it took her, I should have gotten what I asked for, it was not an unreasonable request. I think money would be better spent elsewhere, and I think next time I will try someone else. more

I was raised in Eugene and have heard about London throughout the years. i finally make enough money to go and have my hair taken care of professionally. Professional staff is not what I found. My first experience was a perm. The woman talked for two and half hours about her life, I felt like her counsler, I left exhausted. The next three days waited to wash hair , went to take a shower and my hair was not curly at all, I have super fine hair so I was suprised. I called and they rescheduled me with no cost but sat again in chair being a counsler two and half hours. She burned my hair. I sent my mom to a hair dresser named Trina she did a fantastic job. I needed my hair styled 11 months after bad perm, so relunctely I made a appt.with Trina. I arrived and a person called my name and I said to her are you Trina and she said yes. She took me to her chair and I said this is not where I thought Trina worked, she said they decorated the salon and she has a new booth. I again asked if her name is Trina and she said yes. We picked out a color to dye my hair and I wanted brown closes to my natural color. She mixed the dye and started to foil my hair and once again I asked if her name is Trina and she said yes. Later while she worked on my color a employee of London hair asked me what my name is I said Jessie Williams and she said I am Trina. Trina told the hair dresser & asked what color she was using and it ended up being goth dark black. Trina quickly rushed me to the sink to rinse out color. Fortunetly the color came out due to quick thinking on Trinas part. Trina did a fantastic job, she colored and styled my hair beautiful!! I would love to only see Trina but I have never been financially compensated the front desk staff doesnt know what to do if there is a problem or if a client wants her money back. I found out I can write a blog so here I am. I WANT FINANCIAL COMPENSATION FOR THEIR TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES WORK!!!!!!!!!!! be it free color and hair style something or I wont return. I recently had a partial weave done at chikara and it was awful! I wanted natural looking highlights that blended in well with my natural color and the girl gave me a platinum blond stripey mess! When I came in to see julie at london she actually sat down and talked with me about what my goal was, what were realistic expectations, and gave me several options to choose from with how to fix it! Needless to say, the girl knew what she was doing and not only fixed my zebra striped mess, but truly gave me the best color of my life! I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks (without having to pay a million!) And everyday when I get up and see myself in the mirror I feel happy to be me! I am new in town and actually found this salon by searching for waxing services online. I went to the Website and looked at the pictures and was really impressed with what I saw. I noticed that they had 2 locations so opted for the Valley River salon. To say that my service was HORRIBLE would be an understatement. I had tons of hair left, and wax left all over me, to top it off the website said $55.00 and when I checked out the bill was actually $70.00 dollars. I have been waxed several times and it was obvious that this girl had no idea what she was doing. PLEASE., practice on your girlfriends. more

I frequent both locations of London Hair and Spa and I've been treated like a QUEEN each and every time!! From the friendly receptionists to the knowledgeable and kind service providers, they really know how to treat a tired, working mom. I just love everybody that works there. After I've spent a few hours there, either getting my hair done or my massage or facial, my husband always says something about how glad he is that I'm taking care of myself and that I deserve it. And I think he might be right. You should definitely go see them! You deserve it too! more

This salon is extremely overpriced. They have independent stylists within the salon and they all charge very inconsistent rates. I went for a cut and color and was charged well over $200. When asked for an itemized receipt, they quickly dismissed me saying that they don't do detailed receipts. I called and complained to the store owner and she was extremely snobby and disregarding of my complaints. I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. I've been to probably 100 spas, all over the world, and I have to say that this one is the best! The interior design of this place is amazing!! I spent a whole day here, and was treated to a hair cut and color, a manicure and pedicure, body waxing, as well as a very relaxing facial. All of the staff were very knowledgable and experienced. They have great product lines for hair, skincare and makeup. I wish I lived in the area so that I could go to London Hair Studio Downtown for all of my haircare and skincare needs!! This is a place to remember! more

Sarah at London Downtown gives the BEST FACIALS HANDS DOWN in EUGENE- they usually last over an hour and a 1/2 and cost 65 dollars, they are AMAZING, it is usually very hard for me to relax but she puts me to sleep almost every time! Pros: service of facials, sarah, relaxing Cons: salon feeling more
