So I went to ketchup not too sure what to expect. It's been hyped so much and being next to Sunset Plaza I expected it to be totally 'sceney' and cheesy. However I was really, really wrong! From the moment you walk in everyone is so friendly and helpful, I went on a Thursday night and the place was packed but I still felt everyone was very attentive. My waitress was awesome, so sweet and knowledgeable and the manager couldn't have been more helpful. The food is delicious, I was celebrating so I treated myself to the kobe steak and it was so delicious, the lobster mashed potatoes so decadent. My boyfriend had the ribs with a side of mac and cheese which was so good we had to order an extra one on the side. The atmosphere was all-in-all buzzing, I saw 'mini-me' from Austin Powers sitting across from me and there were tonnes of other glamorous people running around. All in all this restaurant is of course, part of the scene, but its food is delicious, the service some of the best I've had in LA, and the atmosphere and glamor of the restaurant, really something to go and experience.
Pros: Atmosphere, staff, 'experience'
Cons: busy busy
