Superb Support 7/2/2015

Excellent company. Our air conditioner was not working. We called two other repair places. One never answered his phone (he may have retired). The other said they could be there in two weeks. We saw good reviews for Guy Smith and decided to give them a call. They answered "How can we make you smile?" and that was their proven philosophy. They could make it the next day, even agreeing to show up at the hour I needed them. Five minutes before the appointed time, they called to say they were en route. The gentleman who came at first seemed young, but definitely knew exactly what he was doing. I managed heavy vehicle mechanical programs, and was impressed by his professionalism and diagnostic approach. Plus he did a great job putting up with me. I will definitely be using Guy Smith in the future. more

I was extremely impressed with the customer service. The technician that came out was so personable & informative! He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed and treated our issue the same day. Life savers! 6/16/2015

everything about guy smith is awesome! From scheduling and pricing to friendliness of the staff. They came to my home on short notice and fixed my AC under the quoted cost. Can't say enough good things about them. I will call them first every time and know I will get good service and won't get ripped off. more

Very helpful. We love that they are easy to schedule appointments with and have great service techs. We've had Brian and we appreciate that he explains everything he does and helps us understand what's going on and why when we have a problem. Guy Smith Heating and Cooling 5/9/2015

I suppose I'm a procrastinator at heart. I've been needing a hvac check up but was avoiding it because I thought it would be a hassle. Turns out I was wrong. I called Guy Smith Heating and Cooling at 0930 and a technician John S was standing at my door at 1230 ready to go. Couldn't believe the response time! I love watching people do a job when it's obvious they know what they're doing. John was quick, efficient and knowledgeable. He did point out my hot water heater is past it's life expectancy. If you've ever had one of those fail you know what a mess that can make. Well I know who I'll be calling on to replace it. Thank you Guy Smith Heating and Cooling. more

I am sooooo pleased with your quality of work...Mr.Phil(service tech) just left my home and I feel as though I just got a tuition free education?? he was so thorough and knowledgeable.. He explained every single step of the process..he even taught me how to read guages??..and my unit is running quiet and blowing hard?? I will definitely be referring you guys and I am definitely "smiling"...oh yeah, did I also mention that you're cheap!!!!...hands down I got my moneys worth...I kinda feel like I didn't pay enough..lol..THANKS AGAIN, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!! more

Heat Pump Semi-Annual Maintenance Check 4/23/2015

From the time that Nate Cook arrived late morning, I could tell I was in good hands. After a short time in checking the units, Nate found a small refrigerant leak and recommended various courses of action. Choosing an electronic leak search revealed an evaporator coil needed replacement. Nate offered various cost saving options and replaced the coil later that afternoon. He retested and confirmed all was in order. After his write-up and payment was received, he went on his way. I feel my system is now ready for the upcoming summer. Thanks to Nate and Guy Smith. more

Guy Smith Heating and Cooling 4/23/2015

Once again my husband and I would like to thank Guy Smith Heating and Cooling; fondly we call them "the guys". Our history with this company dates back to Aug 2013 when our central air conditioner became sick. Since then they have comeback many times for different H VAC services. Each time “the guys” would go out of their way to give us the best service we have ever had with H VAC services; plus giving us discounts, sale prices, etc. One time around Christmas 2013 they had to replace a heater part costing approx $1500. Several days before the installation, Kathy (head of “the guys”) called to tell us we would be only paying around $900.00. Oh, this news could not have come at a better time. It seems the part that was broken was a recall so Guy Smith passed the savings on to us. You know if the company was not honest they could have pocketed the $600.00. My husband and I highly recommend Guy Smith Heating and Cooling for all your H VAC services. more

Warrenty Service 4/12/2015

Guy Smith Heating did my semi annual checkup of my units. They did a thorough inspection and maintenance job. Also made some suggestions for some additional service items but put no pressure on me to purchase anything immediately. I recommend Guy Smith service whole heartedly. more

Annual Spring Cooling System Assessment 4/10/2015

The tech rep who performed the assessment today was efficient, courteous, and thorough. When he noted that the starting capacitor was reading low, he replaced it on the spot without any problems, and explained what he was doing along the way. His assessment was flawless, and I highly recommend him for an "attaboy" and I also recommend Guy Smith as a preferred HVAC service agency. And they have done so for many years. John Allen more

Shaun was knowledgable and constantly informed me of his steps to troubleshoot the system. Even though the a coil is only four years old he explained that internal leaks do occur. The company will return the following day and install a new coil. Thankfully it is still under warranty. more

honest, exemplary service 2/10/2015

I cannot praise the service and honesty of this company enough. I have used them off and on for the past 30 years and have always had wonderful servce; however, this time they have gone above and beyond. My 14 year old heating system is on it's last leg. Nate, my technician has come out several times and has done verything he can to keep it going. I'm on a fixed income and the last partial remedy was to install two expensive pieces of equipment; however, Nate was so honest that he told me that while it ws my choice, t he felt he system was not worth investing any large sums of money on it and I would be better served to limp along for one more winter. There are many companies that take advantage of the elderly and very few would have resisted a large sale. This one example speaks to the integrity of this company. Thank you for your honesty and exemplary service. Everyone with whom I have had contact, from Kathy to the other technicians who have come out have been wonderful. I look forward to eventually getting a new system. more

"Old School is STILL The BEST School!" 12/30/2014

My husband and I found ourselves in a cold house on Sunday, 12/7/14 due to a burned out motor in our furnace. Called a company that came out right away and assured us that all would be well by Tuesday. After not hearing anything during the day, we called and got "caught up in mixed messages" by company staff. Guy Smith didn't automatically come to mind. I was familiar w/ the company and knew that it had been around for many years. After being reminded via a few reviews, we called, they came on Wednesday and we had heat again on Thursday. "Anthony" was fantastic, the staff kept us informed and the cost was less than the first quote! We were totally pleased, will use them again and have no problem referring others to them. They may be an "oldie" (company) but they are a "goodie"! Thanks Guy Smith, Anthony (the technician) and staff. more

I have been using the services of Guy Smith Heating & Cooling for over 7 years. The service tech arrived as scheduled soon after the office called saying he was on his way. He performed the semi-annual service call in a very professional and timely manner and the office called afterwards to make sure my needs had been met. I would not hesitate to continue using their services. more
