I like the windows but this company acts in a very unprofessional manner. They did not explain how it would work if the windows or doors weren't quite the same size as the old ones. As a result, some windows have an extra inch of plastic trim around the windows and some don't. Not uniform at all! \r After the first day when I noticed the wood trim didn't meet the windows, I specifically asked if they'd remove the trim and make it meet the window. They said yest. They didn't say they just use a cheap plastic filler type of trim between the window and trim. When I point this out, they just state that's how it's done. Had they communicated this to me, I would've bought all new wood trim around my windows. There's only about six windows out of 17 that need attention and they refuse to re-do it. \r Secondly, their workmanship is poor. They didn't countersink the nails so when I go to paint, either I will need to tap them in deeper or have a round nail head showing. Also, they didn't do the flashing correctly. Nor did they caulk around the trim they did put on. So unless they is done- water damage!\r The brothers, Larry and Mike, are very rude and condescending about my concerns and basically said ""they're done"". \r I would warn anyone against working with this unprofessional company. they cut corners in order to save money and do nothing to ensure the customer's satisfaction. more

HORRIBLE SERVICE--AVOID 1/22/2015

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!! \r \r Salesman promised that windows would be installed in 4-6 weeks on 11/6/2014. It is 1/19/15 and the windows still have not been scheduled or installed. I sent an email on 11/17 with a question about my order and I never received a response. I called the office on 1/12/15 and I was told by a lady who answered the phone that someone would call me back and no one ever did. I finally received a call today (1/19/15) from Larry Gravina who told me that he was unwilling to work with my schedule to install the windows, and he threatened to take me to court and put a lien on my house when I told him that I would write a negative review about his customer service and his business. \r \r I am surprised that they are still in business treating customers like that. I would not recommend this business, and I will not order doors from them in the future like I had planned. I am going forward with a BBB complaint, and I urge you to stay away from them.\r \r They also pay people to more

Did he call me back when I called on the 12th? NO! If he had, he would have learned that the truck issue became a non-issue a few days after I sent that email. Money is not an issue for us at this time. And, his response to mine and other negative reviews just solidifies and confirms how little he knows about quality customer relations.\r \r Look around the internet and you will quickly find many many negative reviews about Gravina's Windows and Siding, all with the SAME THEME: Bad customer service, inability to install in a timely fashion to hold up their end of the contract, and inability to install a quality product and stand behind their work. But apparently this is all my fault, the weather is to blame, his internet server is to blame, his brother is to blame(which he claims is why he didn't call me back or answer my email), and everyone else is to blame except him. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm\r \r AGAIN BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't even give him 1 star if that were an option. more

Purchased 4 double hung windows, 1 custom window, 3 basement sliders & 1 sliding patio door. Patio door leaks water & all 3 basement sliders leak air at bottom rail & at weep hole. I was told by Nic Gravina that patio door is not ""hurricane rated"". I used a hose on it to wash away dirt so I guess that hose pressure is too much for the slider. I wish I was told that before I purchased this product. Not sure what the issue is on the basement windows but have a call into Gravina's now to get resolved. more

We contracted with Gravina's to install 38000.00 worth of window's in stucco. The color match on the stucco is unacceptable. I will post a photo. Because I have paid 37000.00 of the contract. They are bailing on the job and now want me to find my own stucco contractor to repair the damage that they created with their poor workmanship. It will cost between 4000.00 and 6000.00 to get repairs done. BEWARE!!! They also threatened me with leans and legal action for there poor quality work. more

Excellent Service 6/28/2012

I just wanted to thank both Robby and Larry for their professionalism and great service. My wife and I both had to go through the most unfortunate experience with hail damage to our home. The only positive experience we had during the process was dealing with Rob at Gravina's. I would recommend this company to anyone. more

We purchased Windows & Siding through Gravina's. Robb was our salesperson. Our siding has been through several Hail storms and held up without a dent. It is amazing how nice our house looks. Pros: null Cons: null more

null 6/25/2012

I was confronted by the owner, Larry, with the rudest and most disrespectful demeanor when I suggested that I was unhappy and frustrated with the very long length of time it took to complete our install due to their internal mistakes & wanted him to work with us to make the process less painful. Lousy service, windows just OK 11/9/2011

We replaced a sliding door and two windows for about $3,000. The energy efficiency is definitely better than it was but frankly for this amount I wish it were better. I still have to keep my shades down if it is really cold. Their service was lousy. The lead time is 8-12 weeks from the factory. They never called to give me updates, etc. I was the one to call to ask if the windows were in and they said, "Oh yeah, it's here would you like to schedule your installation?" THEN when they got here the door was ordered wrong and opened the opposite way. They said they would place a rush on the new one but it didn't get here any faster. Again, I had to call to ask where it was. No one from the office ever called to apologize for the wrong door. THEN, the sliding screen was not installed well so they had to come out to adjust it. All the while the guy was telling me that I was pushing on it when I closed it so it wouldn't meet at the frame. I don't like the screen at all. There is no handle, nothing to grab on to to close it and in order to open it you have to unlock it every time. THEN, last week I got a letter from the salesman I worked with saying he had moved to another firm. His last name is Gravina! (Now that's an awkward family Thanksgiving.) I don't think I will use them again. Wouldn't use Champion either-their sales guy blessed me out when I said I was using Gravina's. Pros: null Cons: null more

Your installation crew is terrific!! 8/3/2011

Your installation crew is terrific!! I would have appreciated more directness about installation dates initially, because I was trying to plan around the installation, but once the dates were set everything went smoothly. I did feel that the salesman didn't always get back to me in a timely fashion, but the installation crew sure did. I am not too happy about followup, as I called because I have one window where gaps are developing and I wanted Gravinas to look at int, and I have not yet been called back after a least a couple of months and am going to have to call again. more

Did a very good job! 7/20/2011

I enjoyed your crew they did a very good job and kept the house clean as they worked. only one thing I would like a copy of my lead inspection report. more

Installation team were very professional 7/19/2011

We enjoyed the whole process. Jason who came to our home was very informative and he was available throughout the whole process. The installation team were very professional and did an excellent job. What surprised us the most was that the only monies asked up front was the $150 for lead testing. Our window order was for over $10,000 and we did not pay anything until the job was done. What a refreshing was to do business. We are remodeling our home and we find that we must pay for everything in advance before receiving any of the goods that we have bought. Thank you again for everything. more

Outstanding Job 7/6/2011

From sales through installation the Gravina's team did an outstanding job. They recommended the right window and had the right price. This was a highly professional experience from start to finish. I will definitely recommend them to my friends. Gravina?s far exceeds anything you might expect from one of the typical ??Big Box Stores.? more

We are not quite done yet, but I am very happy with the windows, and with the appearance of the house from the outside. Don and Sean did an excellent job and were really easy to work with! more

The people that did the installation were very good 6/11/2011

The people that did the installation were very good, very polite and very accommodating. I was a little disappointed that the windows weren't cleaned before they left. They were ok but I would have thought they would have been cleaned as they were installed. more

My windows are beautiful! 5/28/2011

Wood & Vinyl Replacement Windows Are Not All The Same What materials are best for my new wood or vinyl windows, especially in Denver and Colorado? Vinyl: Low-grade vinyl can bend, bow, and discolor leaving your investment all for not. Many lower grades are less expensive. For Colorado replacement widows,it's best to use a higher-grade vinyl, such as virgin or composite vinyl, because of the amount of UV rays we are exposed to at 5280'; above sea level. Our exposure to UV rays will ultimately fade most things from its original color; however a high-grade vinyl will diminish fading to a minimum as well as fade evenly. Low-grade vinyl could oxidize, warp, blister, peel, and swell in just a few years. Virgin Vinyl: Virgin vinyl is rugged, durable, and virtually maintenance-free. The material's low thermal conductivity makes it a good choice for window manufacturing. It assures that our windows will never rot, peel, blister, swell or deteriorate from corrosion or pitting. Virgin vinyl features through-and-through color compounding,so your windows will never require staining or painting. Wood-Clad: Wood-clad windows are wood inside and a maintenance free product on the outside; such as aluminum, fiberglass,or vinyl. Wood windows allow for the option to stain or paint your windows inside whichever color you choose. Wood-clad windows are traditionally double the cost of vinyl windows. * Vinyl-Clad Aluminum * Fiberglass * Wood-Clad Fib
