I got a quote from Bill and he said he'd be out to do the work soon. He never showed up and I called 3 weeks later. He said he'd be out Saturday at 9:00. He didn't show up, so ...

I got a quote from Bill and he said he'd be out to do the work soon. He never showed up and I called 3 weeks later. He said he'd be out Saturday at 9:00. He didn't show up, so I called and left a message. Bill called back later and said he'd be out that afternoon. Then he called again and said he couldn't make it. There were no apologies at any point. This guy just didn't want the work -- I wish he'd have just said "no thanks" rather than making excuses and giving me the runaround. I do not recommend this company!! more

Disappear 12/2/2011

Bill and I were set to meet in an afternoon but he kept me waiting and did not return phone calls. He didn't even take calls. I saw comments online and had certain expectation. But not showing up without notice in any form is not acceptable. more

Honest and dependable 1/3/2011

Gentle Ben's had the lowest price out of four estimates we received to remove three large Douglas fir trees in our back yard. Bill's crew worked fast and efficiently (in the cold and rain) no standing around and talking, or use of profanity. I highly recommend this company. more

Look no further! 5/5/2010

We were seeking more light and usable space in our large, tree covered yard. Bill came to us highly recommended from three neighbors. We were thoroughly impressed by the skill and precision he brought to the work site (limbing and felling), his knowledge of trees, professional and courteous staff, prices, clean up. We actually had an enjoyable and memorable time and will definitely use Gentle Ben again! more

The best service...most affordable cost! 9/2/2009

I got 6 estimates to have various trees and shrubs cut down and removed. Bill's (of Gentle Ben's) quote was by far the most affordable...he's bonded and licensed and has been in the business for years so I knew it would be a professional job well done. And what a job it was...the results were amazing, his crew was fantastic - they were in and out in a very short time considering the amount of foliage and flora that needed removal and it was all done with extreme affordability. I highly recommend Gentle Bens!!!!! A+++++++++++++++ more

The best! 7/22/2009

Bill and his team were fantastic. They limbed two huge maple and felled one dead maple. You could not even tell they were ever there, other than the limbing and tree removal. Not a spec of debris remained. My home looked great when they were done. They were friendly, professional, on time, very fairly priced, just the best! more

A SMART CHOICE 7/3/2008

Gentle Ben's Tree Service was the best choice. They cut down eight alder trees from my yard on a Saturday morning, it was done fast and affordable. Another contractor quoted me over $1000 for the same job. Gentle Ben's Tree Service is reliable, accommodating, professional and economic. Look no further!!!! more

Professional, Good Value, Dependable - Overall First Class 6/2/2008

Gentle Ben's Tree Service did a very difficult job for me. They took a tree down that was 3' away from our neighbor's fence and 5' away from our back deck/spa. They limbed the tree. Then, dropped in sections without any damage to either the fence or our deck/spa. I have fallen trees lots of times, but did not want to tackle this one. It was just too risky. Gentle Ben's did an outstanding job for a very competitive price. I will use this company for any future tree services, without even getting competitive bids. That is how much Gentle Ben's Tree Service has earned my trust. more

Friendly Service & Great Price 8/23/2005

I've had Bill and his guys over to remove trees a couple of times. Each time, his quotes have beat the competition by a large margin. I am amazed how he can bring down a tree with such grace. The trees fall like a feathers. more
