i think gap has some nice clothes, but they often don't have anything on sale so be prepared to cough up the dough. In general, the quality of clothing is pretty high; I'm really satisfied with the gap clothes that I've gotten. However, the thing is that the Berkeley branch of Gap is really really tiny and only has a few items. If you're looking for something that's uncommon, or even if you just want a better selection, you're better off finding a bigger gap store.
