FitRx changed my life! I went in 4 weeks ago with a list of foods I wouldn't eat, and exercises I wouldn't do. At the end of 4 weeks I came out 31 pounds lighter, lost 2-3 pant sizes and feel the best I have ever felt! I was able to come off my blood pressure medicines, and an antidepressant successfully, due to the work I did there. Oh, and I ate the foods, did the exercises and enjoyed them.\r \r What makes FitRx unique is that you know you have all the support you will need from the very first day. The staff is the very definition of caring, sensitive, and encouraging, service. They pushed me when I needed to be pushed and challenged me when I needed that. I saw some other reviews about fit rx in brentwood and was surprised such a good program was so close to me. I called for a consultation and in the same week was enrolled in their program. I lost a considerable amount of weight and going up the stairs for work is now much easier! more

I spent two weeks at Fit Rx, and it made me a healthier person. This was my first trip to a fitness resort, so I didn't know what to expect. The staff at Fit Rx provided a relaxed setting for me to get in better shape. My goal was to lose at least 10 pounds during my two week stay. I lost 12 pounds! But even better, I learned how to continue my healthy lifestyle outside of the resort. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The trainers are excellent. They watch all the clients and individualize the workouts when needed. We worked out as a group, but the three trainers were always alert to each of the client's needs. I continue my weight loss at home and am living a healthy lifestyle because of what I learned at Fit Rx. more

I arrived at Fitrx excited and ready to make some serious changes in my life. I walked out 3 weeks later having removed 16.5 inches, my sleep issues gone and lots of extra energy and strength. I was amazed! I also have their ongoing support as I continue to practice the new lifestyle I was taught. more

I spent $4200 to lose 4 pounds. These people dont know what they are doing. The workouts that are listed as CArdio at 7 am and 7 pm were on your own at the Bed and Breakfast or at the little gym at the Residence Inn. The chef is great but that is it. Nothing ever starts on time. They expect you to workout and then sit for an hour in the classroom in sweaty clothes. Several people, including myself, developed a rash from this. One trainer screamed at a client one day, then when he refused to speak to him in private, he came in the classroom and yelled again. It is in A STRIP MALL. THERE ARE NOT ANY BIKES, ELEPITCALS, WEIGHT MACHINES, TREADMILLS. It appears that the owner purchased or built a football workout facility and that didnt go over, so they started this program. They have visited the Biggest Loser Resort and tried to copy them only to add more group therapy and nutrition classes. more

I was shocked to drive 9 hours and see this Fit-RX place is in a strip mall. Before signing up to go there I spoke with the man from their website who has called himself a reservationist, admissions person and community liaison for Fit-RX in Brentwood, Tennessee . Before making my decision to go there I mentioned to the person/man on the phone from the website the how Beautiful the spa like indoor lap pool with expensive looking lounge chairs that was pictured on their website was. ""He said yes we have great facilities."" That is not their pool it is a pool that they only use in winter it is not on their property site. My water aerobics class was to be outside at a Marriott in the summer Nashville heat it's in the mid 90's there. He also told me all about the great Hot Yoga and his personal experience with that class. There is NO HOT YOGA! Hot Yoga was canceled 10 days prior to my scheduled visit. I was told that there would be personalized meals that the dietitian/chef had cured his allergies. That dietitian/chef no longer works there. For breakfast everyone was served egg whites and oranges. EVERYONE regardless of age weight etc. For lunch it was catered in. No one discussed my individual nutritional needs. So no Hot Yoga and not the same staff as promised. For dinner I was served beets I have an extreme estrogen level 10 times the normal amount I should Not be served any foods that are promoters of estrogen. I was told I would be talking to them about my foods likes dislikes even filled out a questionnaire on eating/food. All exercise is group there are NO personal programs designed for your individual needs. I could write several nore pages on this place unfortunately it limits me to 4000 characters. more

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this place. They helped me gain my self respect again. I used food as an escape and they taught me a healthier way to cahnnel my emotions. I now exercise regularly and I'm eatign healthier thanever and I feel great. Thank you FitRx! more
