Dresses were hemmed to mid-thigh instead of mid-knee, as I'd asked. The mirror in the lobby is not full length, so it's not possible to to see where they've pinned you while standing up straight. When I asked how much it would cost to have the hems let back out, the owner was rude and argumentative. I finally just left and took the dresses to a different tailor to pay even more to have them fixed, but it turns out the hems couldn't be let back out because they didn't reserve enough fabric to do so - the dresses were ruined. They still had the tags on and I had never even worn them. $154 for sleeves and hems on 2 dresses is absurd, even if they'd done it right. I can chalk the mistake up to a misunderstanding, but there's no excuse for the argumentative (lack of) customer service, especially at that price point. more

I've been regular since 2008. They exactly know what to do. Bad that they don't have website or price list. But they are willing to tell the prices if you call. Pretty good with spot removing. (I'm giving 4 out of 5 b/c they couldn't remove my old wine spot completely). Oh. the services that employees giving me is absolutely great. There are two girls.They have excellent memories. I didn't go to that place for 6 or 7 months, but they still remember me and greeting me like old friends. Even scary :) (so definitely 5 out of 5 on services). Now they give me huge discounts and seasonal gifts like lint remover or 20%off on dry cleaning.How good is that? (ooh.. check out the val-pak. They have on-line coupon but also comes in your mail, too) Absolutely will not go anywhere else. more

I took my jeans to Faulkenbury & Wright because I needed a replacement zipper. There were communication problems because most of the employees did not speak english, but once I got someone who did they were helpful and friendly. more

That reason alone should have you running to this dry cleaner. Not to mention they do a great job and at a fair price. I am pretty sure that they are the only dry cleaner in Seattle who is using safe solvents. I won't go to anyone else! more

Positives: same day or next day service, depending on how busy they are. rasonable price for that turnaround. Negatives: No better than other cleaners in actual cleaning quality. After they ruined a shirt trying to remove a simple stain (and no apologies or reduction in price), I've decided not to trust them with anything except the simplest cleaning that I need done quickly. more

Seattle is a dearth of same-day dry-cleaning sites, except for the gang at F&W. These guys are always the first to let you know if there's any clothing cleaning task they can't handle, or better, what it will take to get the job done. Out of six dry cleaners in my local neighborhood, I go out of my way to take my clothes to these guys. more
