I purchased a car a year ago from Drivetime. I no more drove off the late and then the next morning the check engine light came on. I called them and told them that. They said to take it to a shop and have it looked at so I did. The shop called me and told me the transmission was bad. I then called Drivetime and requested them to get me a rental car they told me to pay for it and they would refund me. They had my money so I could not. Then two days went by and still no car. I called them and told them I want my money back and they said we can't do that. Then I got behind 1 payment and was in direct contact with them and they said no worries we will work with you. That was alot of bs. They repo'd my car due to being behind one payment I will never refer anyone back to them. When I called and spoke to the repo dept at drivetime. He told me that az is a right to state. That was his actually wording. They suck and so they can do whatever they want to anyone. more

Scammers 6/10/2005

I have heard nothing but bad, bad, bad about this company, that they take advantage of people with credit issues and basically rip them off big time. This company sounds like one to avoid. more
