I went to Delmonico's on Mothers Day after reading rave reviews and was definitely disappointed. We spent $120 on dinner for 2 (without drinks-only water) and our meal was averag...

Amazing Service & Food 7/1/2003

Have been a fan of Delmonico's since it opened in LV! Best Service, food, and drinks!!! Pros: Amazing Service, Amazing Food Cons: booking days in adv more

Absolutely the best steak in my life!!! 6/30/2003

Being a native New Yorker I have had my fill of the well known in the Steak House field, but never have I had such a juicy, melt in you mouth, like candy, piece of meat as I have had at Delmonico's in Vegas. Makes me very aggitated that Emeril has not opened one in New York. :( Pros: First rate food, Wall Street Atmospher Cons: Expensive more

BEST IN THE UNIVERSE!! 6/25/2003

Oh my God!!! Best food! Best service! Best everything! I've been to Prime, S&W, Nine, Fleming's, etc.... None hold a candle. Wasn't seated immediately even though I had reservations, but had a great time in the lounge by the bar. BBQ Shrimp and Oysters Bienville are to die for. Bone in Ribeye is uncontested; so is the filet. Asparagus made by the gods. Banana Fosters Ice Cream Pie and Grand Marnier Chocolate Souflee are amazing. Wine list so extensive it could choke an elephant. Very knowlegdable courteous staff. Will plan all of my future trips to vegas around Delmonico Steakhouse! Great Job guys! Pros: everything Cons: nothing more

Overrated 5/20/2003

I went here for lunch in early May. No problem with seating--no one is there. I order the special. Big mistake. Not a good thing when you spend $60 on lunch and get a below-average meal. Stick to the steak and enjoy the desserts. Pros: expensive, service Cons: marginal food more

Absolutely Superb 5/18/2003

I had the oysters bienville and a porterhouse steak. The former was perhaps the best dish I have ever eaten and the latter was magnificent. The service was spectacular--It was like a Balanchine ballet to watch the kitchen and staff interact. These folks know how to run a restaurant down to the smallest detail. Pros: Three-star food, Super-attentive staff, Nice ambience Cons: Cheesy Venetian Hotel more

rib steak 5/15/2003

The bone-in rib steak is perfection!! Much better than the over-priced ""Prime"" at Bellagio. Pros: meat, quality, wine Cons: expensive more

wonderful 5/15/2003

IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO GO TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT IN VEGAS GO TO THIS ONE. YOU CAN'T BELEIVE THE SEVICE FOOD QUALITY. AN EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER. THE BEST!!!!!! Pros: GREAT, WONDERFUL Cons: NONE, NONE more

Greatest Steak and Wine in LV 5/15/2003

I always and must eat at Delmonico's every trip to LV. Since being turned on to the perfectly cooked strip steak, excellent table side ceasar salad, and unique appetizers from the chef I have introduced many to the best dining experience in the world. They all agree Delmonico ranks among the best places to eat including atmosphere and food quality. Portions are fulfilling to large, but not insultantingly huge. The sauces for steaks are a treat. The ceasar salad is the best present table side I have yet to experience. The down side is my usual meal cost between $700 and $1000 with wine for 4 guest. Although last time they treated me to a limo ride back to Paris. Pros: Quality Steak, Excellent Service, Great Atmosphere Cons: Pricey Wine List more

The better than Ruth's Chris and Burn's 5/15/2003

I live in Fort Lauderdale and every time I go to vegas I call the same day I book my trip to go to the Delmonico. It's so good I am going to try the Chop Shop in Orlando this wknd... I'll let you know. more

Not worth the money! 5/13/2003

I went to Delmonico's on Mothers Day after reading rave reviews and was definitely disappointed. We spent $120 on dinner for 2 (without drinks-only water) and our meal was average. It was certainly not worth the money. There are plenty of other better places to pick from in Las Vegas for half the price! Cons: value, quality of meal more

Superb! 4/2/2003

We had an early reservation, so the crowd was fairly quiet, and we were seated relatively quickly. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was quite professional. I love steak, and have eaten it in some of the better restaurants (within reason), so I was expecting a very good steak when I ordered their signature bone-in ribeye. I was completely floored by how good it was! The other 3 members of my party agreed (having ordered steak, salmon, and chicken dishes). The chocolate-chocolate dessert was just as astounding according to the ladies with us (I was too full of steak to try it). With desserts and drinks, the tab was a little over $200, which was more than reasonable for 4 people. Make reservations WELL in advance if you plan to go on a weekend. Pros: everything more

unbelievable 3/7/2003

I have been to alot of nice steakhouses but Delmonico's blows them all away, THE BEST in FOOD, SERVICE, & ATMOSPHERE. You are treated like a star. I highly recommend Delmonico's for a romantic night out our a family gathering!!! more

A Night to Remember 3/3/2003

From the moment we walked in the door until we left, we were treated like kings and queens. I've never seen such a knowledgeable and attentive service team! This was far and away the best meal I've ever eaten, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Chateaubriand was to die for, and the prices were amazingly reasonable for what you get. We've planned our next trip to Vegas around dining at Delmonico's. Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Environment more

I've had better 2/22/2003

It was good....but not that good. Accoustics were terrible, menu rather limited and food quality adequate. Service was good. My expectations were high based on other reviewers' opinions. As a result I was slightly disappointed. more

a snobby place that should be empty 2/11/2003

living in ny, this place was such a letdown. the service was so poor that the meal took 3 hours. when dinner was finally served it was cold. what a surprise. the manager was nervous and completely unable to do his job. (if you're reading this, im sure you'll remember the table from last sat night.) after thinking about it with all his might, he decided to buy us our sides....what a sport. its too bad that emeril's name fills this place. its' really not worth your dime or time. Cons: snobby, no customer service, terrible management more

It was the food, the wine, the waiter. 2/4/2003

It was all great. We were greeted as returning guests to an Emeril restaurant. Our waiter made us realize why some people do this as a profession. My husband is not an adventruous eater but when our waiter suggested something different, he ordered it and he loved it. We had wine that was heavenly, again suggested by our waiter. We did not order a $$$ bottle and he made us feel that we were making just the right choice. We would go back there in a minute! Pros: Service is superb, Romantic Cons: Reservations demanded more

wondeful !!!!! 2/4/2003

RATES THE BEST . FOOD SERVICES EVERYTHING WONDERFUL.. GOING AGAIN NEXT MONTH..... EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO AT LEAST ONE TIME. YOU WILL GO BACK. more

Awesome meal!! 2/4/2003

I ate at Delmonico's last year and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. We had the BBQ shrimp for an app. and it was great. I had the filet which was the best filet I've ever eaten and I'm from the midwest. I would recommend this place. I would also recommend reservations. While we were having dinner Emeril was there in the restaurant. Nice little bonus to top an awesome meal. more

Food lacks pizzaz 2/4/2003

While the steaks were good, the chicken was nothing special and I would swear that the beans that were served as a side were Van Camps. Pros: nice ambience, good service Cons: tastless sides more

awesome 2/4/2003

The best food we ever had.The coffee was great too.The service was awesome.Everything was perfect!!!!!! more
