Best

Amazing steaks for a great price and a nice place to go on a date if your into beef. 5 stars..

Worst

I went to Delmonico's on Mothers Day after reading rave reviews and was definitely disappointed. We spent $120 on dinner for 2 (without drinks-only water) and our meal was averag...

Emeril's done it again 5/25/2004

Food and presentation is great, portions are hearty, and the staff is phenomenal. I like to cook and I was watching intently as our waiter was preparing our Caesar salad, which he noticed. The next time he came back to our table he brought back a hand written recipe for me to take home. Great experience! Pros: food, portions, service more

stupendous 5/7/2004

The Food,Service and Atmosphere here is In my opinion the best in the world Our meals have always been excellent . We Live in Canada and make the trip 2 - 3 times a year only to have dinner at Delmonico's. Emeril is an amazing man . Pros: great food, accurate staff, beautiful decor more

Delmonico's Steakhouse at the Venetian 3/12/2004

This superb restaurant is second to none! The service alone cannot be topped in our city of many very, very fine upscale dining establishments. The food is always top-notch. I defy anyone to find ANYTHING wrong about this establishment. We always refer friends who are in town, particularly those staying at the Venetian, to dine at Delmonico's. Pros: Service, Superb Food, Great Wine List more

DELMONICO'S 3/12/2004

I had the best steak in my entire life and I know good steak, I am from Montana and we butchered our own. I still have drool from that night and I can still taste it in my mouth. I also have to mention the service is spectacular. Grade A. What a fine establishment. They really make you feel at home. Pros: steak, potatoes, service more

Disappointed First-Time Customer 3/11/2004

I was rather disappointed after dining at this restaurant for my birthday last year. I ordered a medium-rare steak and the steak that they brought out was well-done. Our waiter rarely came back to check up on us. No follow-thru service! To top the night off, my husband and I pre-ordered a cognac chocolate souffle, which takes 20 minutes to prepare, and after patiently waiting, we found out that they some how gave our souffle to another table by mistake! So that means another 30 minutes for our dessert! And, no complimentary wine or dessert to make up for the poor service that we received! more

Delmonico or bust 3/11/2004

My girlfriends mom and I ate there on march 6th and it was one of the most memoriable moments of our trip. The food, service, and ombiance were all wonderful and we told the staff that we had a concert to get to and they made sure we were out on time. When we go back to vegas this restraunt is at the top of our list. Pros: Prompt Seating, Great Service, Great Food Cons: , NONE, NONE more

Can you handle the truth 3/11/2004

When you think of Emeril, you think of great cuisine. We had the chance to try his other restaurant in the MGM and this was excellent. We sat at the bar so it was cheaper. If your into seafood and cajun this is the place. (Do they do weddings) However, I can say that the service at Delmonico's was much better than the MGM. I will give Delmonico credit on trying to make the atmosphere intimate. But when you require a dress code, please try to inforce to everyone. The food was just average (all a la carte) for the price your paying your definately not looking for average. We also visited his other restaurant in Orlando The one thing my finace was looking for on the menus was the Banana Foster's..no luck. Sorry for forgetting the names of the restaurants..when your dealing with Emeril's who needs a fancy name. Pros: romantaic, service Cons: , a la carte more

THE BEST!!! 3/11/2004

For V-Day this year, my boyfriend took me to this wonderful establishment. I heard it was the best but seen that for myself. My boyfriend had the whole night planned out and the waiters helped him. Nothing but great service and wondeful food. If yor trying to impress, this is the place to do it. Will be a night I will never forget thank Delmonico's Steakhouse. Try the pecan pie!!! Pros: Staff was great, Seating very private more

the best in las vegas 3/11/2004

excellence 3/11/2004

I have been to many a steak house from NYC to San Diego, from Boston, Mass to South Padre Island, Tx. and I have never had a dining experience like the one I had at Delmonico's. from the moment you walk in the door till the time you leave is an experience. Emeril knows what he is doing. more

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT 3/6/2004

ENJOYED THE ATMOSPHERE AND SERVICE BUT, THE CHEF HAS TO LEARN HOW TO COOK. MY WIFE HAD THE 2LB. LOBSTER, DESHELLED. WHEN SHE TURNED IT OVER, THE BOTTOM WAS BLACK! SHE SENT IT BACK AND THEY CLEANED IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE SERVING IT. SHE LOST HER APPETITE! I HAD THE FILET MIGNON, MEDIUM WELL. IT WAS COOK MEDIUM. SENT IT BACK AND I THINK THE CHEF PASSED IT OVER THE FIRE BECAUSE IT WAS STILL RAW IN THE MIDDLE. FOR THIS PRICE($165.00) I EXPECTED EXCELLENCE AND GOT BELOW GRADE . Pros: ATMOSPHERE, SERVICE Cons: , UNDERCOOKED, TAKE A PASS more

The Bone In Rib Eye!!! 2/29/2004

Once again, Delmonicos did not dissapoint me. The Bone In Rib-Eye was excellent! The side dishes, wine selection, and awesome service is the reason why I keep coming back to this steakhouse! Pros: Bone In Rib-Eye, Service, Quality more

Outstanding Restaurant 12/30/2003

The Chateau Briand for two at $65.00 served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Asparagas which is cooked at your table was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Everyone moves at 85 miles per hour and your water glass, etc. is never empty. We had a dinner for two with Emeril's Louisiana Shrimp as an appetizer, the Chateau Briand, wine and two very decadent desserts for just over $100.00. The gentleman who took our order and made sure everything was perfect was a delight so warm and made us feel completely at home right away. The wait staff is to be highly recommended they are amazing. This is a definite must go to on your next trip to Vegas. Pros: Everything Cons: Couldn't Find Any more

Honeymoon Delight 12/18/2003

Me and my wife ate our honeymoon dinner there in June. We were given a free crab salad appetizer as honeymooners as well. The food was fantastic and the service was terrific. I'd definitly recommend reservations. Oh by the way, the Key Lime Pie rules. What else would I expect from Emeril? Pros: Food, Ambiance, Service Cons: Location, Bit expensice more

Great food and atmosphere 11/4/2003

The atmosphere is great. Tables spaced apart nicely, dim lighting, beautiful dining room. The tenderloin was one my best ever (I eat a lot of tenderloins). The bone-in ribeye was great flavor, but not as much meat as the tenderloin, due to a less lean meat. Lobster bisque and barbeque shrimp for appetizers are excellent. Pros: excellent food, good service, great atmosphere Cons: expensive more

Perfection at it's finest !!!!! 8/25/2003

There is no question this is one of the best restaurants in the country !! The service a class by itself. My group was seated promptly at our reservation time. The waiter and sommlier was excellent. The steaks were to die for. The house special..bone in ribeye was perfect !! The dessert excellent, the wine list had from your average $40 bottle to the $5,000 '82 Petrus..awesome. Even the 2000 Bordeaux were on the list. Money well spent...will do all again no questions asked !!!!! Pros: HUGE STEAKS !!!!, Wine list, service Cons: not for kids, hidden inside Hotel, bathrooms far away more

Unforgettable 8/18/2003

I ate at Delmonico 4 days ago and haven't stopped raving about it since. Being from Miami and quite the traveler, this restaurant was out of this world! The food was outstanding and the service impeccable, worthy of 100 stars. It is easy to note the waiters are very well trained and hand selected... truly top notch. One cannot go wrong with any meat chosen, each made with such perfection. The asparagus and smashed potatoes were a delight. Although there is an extremely extensive wine list, the Cab from Duckhorn Vineyards 1998 is a wonderful compliment. I can honestly say that this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Only do I wish Emeril would open one here... if not, Capital Grille is the best steakhouse we have in Miami - quite comparable. more

SNOBBY 8/5/2003

This is the snobbiest restaurant I have ever been. The hostess does not greet you or talk to you. We waited 25 mins for our table. The captain all he does is showing up his jewels. The servers never smile and when you talk to them they answer you in a very snobby way, like they are doing you a favor. After our appetizer the dirty plates were not removed for 10 mins, even though the captain kept staring at them; the same thing with the main course plates. The coffee and desserts came in on stages. First the coffee, 10 mins later 3 of the desserts, then finally after waiting 10 mins the fourth dessert came in. For the money that they charge they should treat like royalty. If you are going to spend that kind of money go to another restaurant where you can get your money's value. Cons: change hostess, friendly athmosphere, better service more

Way overrated 8/5/2003

They have no concept on how to cook a steak medium rare. I had to send it back, and they were blaming me on for not ordering the steak properly. Medium rare has a warm red middle, not pink and sinewy. Plus the steak wasn't even that good. Service was painfully slow, even for an upper end steakhouse. If you want the best, go to Luger's in NYC, otherwise save your money for gambling. Pros: decore Cons: over cooked steak, very slow service, way over price more

AMAZING 7/24/2003

I was skeptical at first choosing Emeril's restaurant, but contrary to my preconceived notions, this was the best steak restaurant I've been to. The service and attention to detail made our dinner comfortable and enjoyable. The MUST GET appetizer is the Steak Tartar. For Entree, the bone-in Ribeye was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. the Rack of Lamb was tender and cooked to perfection. I've been to many top steakhouses and Delmonico's has taken over as #1. more
