Amazing steaks for a great price and a nice place to go on a date if your into beef. 5 stars..

Worst

I went to Delmonico's on Mothers Day after reading rave reviews and was definitely disappointed. We spent $120 on dinner for 2 (without drinks-only water) and our meal was averag...

WOW 12/2/2002

I have eaten at many of the top steakhouses in the US, most of them several times, and I have always considered Gibson's in Chicago to be the best. That is until I made a trip to Vegas in June. Simply the best meal I had ever eaten in my life. So good, in fact, that I returned in July, September, and October. Perfect steaks, great wine, and great atmosphere. Pros: Food, Service, Wine Cons: 1800 miles away more

You don't always get what you pay for 11/26/2002

I've eaten at over 25 true steakhouses and Delmonico's is quite simply the worst one I've ever been to. My fiance and I ordered a bone in ribeye. Her medium rare steak was medium (virtually no red inside, all pink.) My rare steak was cooked fine; however, when I was done I had a 4 or 5 ounces of unedible fat left on my plate which is extreme, even for a ribeye. On the positives, the steak tartar was very good, service was great, and they have a fantastic wine list. They did try to make the experience right by not charging for one of the steaks but that does not compensate for the fact that you expect a fantastic meal and get a mediocre one at best. Don't bother with this one and go to Smith and Wolenski's down the strip. Pros: service, wine list Cons: low quality steak, steaks overcooked, dry potatos more

One of the best of all time 11/14/2002

For our 10th anniversary I took my wife to Demonico's and the food was wonderful and the staff made us feel so very special. We will be back every chance we get. more

Good but not the Best 11/9/2002

I entertain customers a lot in Las Vegas and I have to tell you that DelMonicos is good BUT , the best Steak in Las vegas is clearly ""Prime"" in the Bellagio Hotel. This is a little disputed fact among a large group of businessmen I work with. I don't even see Prime on your top ten list!! Its not easy to get in, but it serves the finest steaks only beaten by Bob's Steak and Chop in Dallas. Believe me, I have been to them all !!!!!! more

well deserved 11/8/2002

The staff, from hostess to the line cooks are of the highest caliber. Friendly servers and floor captains make Delmonico's a real treat! more

Wonderful Eats!! 10/31/2002

My Favorite resturant in the world. They have the best Filet in the world.. the best I tell you!! Pros: Great Food, Great Service Cons: Hard to Locate, Back of hotel more

on top of it all! 10/30/2002

Once again all hail Emeril! Chef Christian at delmonico brings food to life with a dynamic pairing of classic cuisine with good old creole cookin, the food is top notch (hard to kick it up) the night is sure to be one of a kind. this establishment is truly the benchmark of the industry. Pros: service, food, elegant Cons: busy more

One of the Best $teaks ever 10/23/2002

As an Emeril fan we booked our reservation 2 months in advance. Promptly seated. Decore and ambiance is amazing. For starters we had grilled shrimp & fresh oyster appetizers. The sauces were a nice touch. Bread was ok kinda tasted like bisquick?. We listen to the servers recommendation and shared a surf & turf with the bone in steak @ $36.00. country mash potatoes with garlic and fresh asparagus. This was alot of food for 2 big eaters & we were not able to finish it. The aged steak was cooked to perfection, so tender I could have cut it with a fork. Lobster very good & freshly cooked for us. Loved the crispy yet salty veggies. Garlic mash was pretty basic. Dessert was a delicious creme brulee w/the special delmonicos coffee with chocolate whipped cream. Including drinks, wine, food & tip our avg cost per person was $100.00 each. Pros: Excellent Steaks, Excellent service Cons: crowded, books quickly, expensive more

Best in the city - All around 10/22/2002

If you have just one meal in vegas, go here. The room is above average, nothing out of this world, but it's the weakest link to in an otherwise great evening. The wait stuff is top notch (table side Caesar Salad for instance) and the food is great. One thing about Emeril is that he loves to go over the top with his menus, and since this is a special night type of place... bring it on! Great steaks, perfect cocktails, great service, and amazing deserts. Pros: Great waiter, Menu is great, Resonable wine list Cons: Room can get noisy, Need reservations more

BAM 10/21/2002

Delmonico's is the BEST. I give it the highest rating even if you don't eat steak. The Slalmon dish is excellent as is roasted chicken, Emeril does something special with ALL foods. DO NOT MISS THIS Restaurant. more

Delmonico ROCKS!!! 10/7/2002

The service is absolutely spectacular and very much well worth it! The food is simply amazing. The decor, atmosphere, food and service all ring VERY true to its master Emeril. You need to try it! Simply beautiful food. Pros: EVERYTHING more

The Anniversary 10/7/2002

My husband and I visited on our recent anniversary and stay at the Venetian. The ambiance was perfect to celebrate such an event and we were impressed when we walked in and were greeted with a ""Happy Anniversary"" from the host and our waiter. When my husband had made the reservation, they had asked if we were celebrating a special event. We were seated immediately in a cozy room and ordered a bottle of wine after a suggestion from our waiter. Great choice! Then we ordered an appetizer and the main course. Both were delectible. The only downfall was that our waiter kept trying to crack jokes while we were interested in quiet conversation between just the two of us. It became annoying and distracting. The food made up for it, though. We will definitely go back on our next Vegas visit. Pros: Attentive staff, Great steak, Artistic deserts Cons: Too crowded, Late reservation, Annoying waiter more

Overrated 10/7/2002

After all the hype, I finally went to Delmonico's. The meat was outstanding. However, the restaurant is decorated in early ""winecellar"" and very impersonal. Service was slow, and the menu could hardly be descried as unique. more

Fabulous!!! 10/3/2002

Delmonico's brings food and service to a new level. The service was impeccable. The food was wonderful. The restaurant was full but not crowded. We had eight people in our group and the staff made you feel like you were the only people the had to service. This restaurant is a must when you are in Vegas. I would highly recommend reservations. more

Decent food... but that's it. 9/18/2002

Okay, so the food was really good. Not stupendous, or the best meal in my life, but all around good. The staff was polite, but in a rather obnoxious way. The 30+ guests at the next table filled the entire place with their hooting and howling; we weren't the only ones that seemed to be bothered with it. That aside, the dishes alone hardly command a return visit. Sad, but true. more

not for everyone 9/10/2002

the best steaks are not for every one, if you like the dry aged flavor of beef there is no where else in town to go. but some do not appreciate this flavor and think the beef tastes spoiled. Pros: great steaks more

Perfect 9/9/2002

I love the restaurant for lunch or dinner. The luncheon specials are great and the service is always good. I do not recommend quality restaurants for kids. I want my money's worth and screaming kids does not give me my money's worth. Pros: Great food more

over-rated 9/9/2002

when are people going to vote for something just because they heard its wonderful. its like eating in a warehouse with just good food nothing to brag about. more

Not Worth the Time or Money 9/8/2002

I could have made a better dinner at home, and treated the people im serving with a better attitude and respect than the was I was treated when I was dining there. more

One of the Best Steaks in Vegas! 8/25/2002

Delmonico was a wonderful place to eat while in Vegas...I went with high expectations for a restaurant that was backed by Emeril, and left being extremely satisfied! The service was fantastic, and the food was excellent! I will definately return to dine there again, on my next visit to Vegas. Pros: Fantastic Service!, Excellent Food more
