After 2 years of saying I would never go back, I made the mistake.. Average coast per person without drinks was $75.00. Special of the evening, 3 stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were decent sized, but other than the 3 lonely shrimp, the plate was entirely empty. Not even a piece of garnish. Rest of the meals were mediocre. Service was extremely slow and poorly timed. Entrees arrived in a staggered procession, resulting in the meals of polite diners to grow cold. Another member of our dining party adds, "We went with friends who told us that Cafe Bella Sera was fantastic. They had not been there in over a year. It was awful. The colossal shrimp were not colossal, and who pays $38.00 for 3 shrimp that you have to peel yourself? Presentation was absent, food was tasteless, and the waiter made us feel as though we were bothering him. Go to macaroni grill and buy yourself an outfit with the money that we spent." more

My husband and I went there for a romantic date and we were both astonished by the extraordinary poor quality of food! This over-priced, overcooked and certainly tasteless meal was enough to forever turn us away from ever taking any family or friends to this restaurant!! The seafood dishes were prepared in quite an amateurish fashion. The bread that is served was a cheap version of the bread from Macaroni Grill. Don't waste your money or time on this restaurant...not only will you be left with a bad taste in your mouth but it can even ruin your evening!! more

Went for dinner with my wife as a nice way to celebrate her finishing a big project at work. Anyway, very nice atmosphere, very good service. Staff was friendly and attentive. We started with a Caprice salad which was very good and nicely presented. Bread was also brought to the table, very good as well, fresh from the oven. My wife had Chicken Catchatori. The pasta tasted home made, perfectly cooked, but the chicken was overcooked and a bit dry. Big portion, overall very good, but not outstanding. I had their stuffed veal, which the waited commented as one of their most popular dishes. The veal was nicely cooked, stuffed with fresh mozzarella and spices. The dish was rather bland and nothing about the dish stood out. At $49 this dish was disappointing and I would expect something outstanding at that price. If I had ordered from a good take out place and paid half as much I probably would have been happy, but given the atmosphere and price, there are plenty of better choices out there. more

Extremely disappointed! Recommended by chefs at Le Cordon Bleu. Over priced, horrible service and the sauce was burnt. The chef needs to take some lessons from Chef D'Angelo. more

I am so disappointed when you go out for a nice meal and you are disappointed on all levels. It seems like the restaurant is busy for no reason. People running around like chickens with their heads cut off and not knowing what they are supposed to be doing thus causing chaos.\r \r The food...it's ok. Not anything you should go out of your way for.\r \r The service, poor\r \r The ambiance and decor are nice\r \r Save your time and money and avoid this place. more

The food at Bella Serra is good, however the prices are insane! I mean insane not in the good sense but rather insanely over-priced. Chef Pete must have looked at the other Italian restaurant in the area and multiplied their prices by three. \r We ordered a bottle of water. Apparently, this comes in only one size at Bella Serra, and it is nine dollars for bottled water. Frankly, I can order champagne in other restaurants for less. Then, because of the outrageous prices we split a salad, which cost $13. No this was not a huge salad, nor did it come with a lot of extras. Couple of leafs of romaine lettuce with baby tomatoes and about three olives. \r Then are meals came which were not too overpriced, relatively speaking. To cap things off, the waiter offered us desert. However, there is no price list for the desert, probably because the prices would cause angina and make one regurgitate their food. \r Nonetheless, we ordered tiramisu. It was slightly larger than usual portion of it. I had to ask the waiter if the price was right for it, when I saw $15 for a slice of Tiramisu. \r I am not sure if Chef Pete is aware that his little Italian restaurant is not in the Ritz-Carlton but rather a plain strip-mall in Parkland. The food is good, but the food is criminally overpriced. I could have eaten at Flavors of Italy in Coral Springs for half the price, and eaten just as well! more
