check out the new live music and DJ's at happy hour with no cover . The bartenders are red hot! and there's a VIP room upstairs, with a DJ on thursdays (also free). they rent it out for private parties up there, too! Pros: fun, great food, great music more

Brunos is a fun place with yummy biscuit burgers and pecan pie that you can share with friends. Their small plates are perfect for privat events in the lounge that has a huge fish tank and their green room is ideal for casual events. It also has live music everynight and diners can get a free pass for cork club and enjoy a night out in one place. more

Bruno's -- Okay with me!! 12/17/2004

I have been a long time patron of Bruno's. I love the new menu and the remodeling. Although some of those cozy booths have gone, the mood is upbeat and the remodeling really makes for a loung-y feel. Everything was just great the night we went in -- the food was awesome, especially the short ribs and the staff was friendly. I hope this Bruno's sticks! Pros: free music w/dinner, great atmosphere, friendly staff more

When you walk into Bruno's you step back in time to how going out used to be. This mean's a relaxed comfortable, yet swanky setting, attentive service, and excellent food. The newish menu includes louisiana style small plates that get better with every bite. Both the duck and shortribs will warm you up on a cold night, and the pot de creme will satisfy the biggest chocoholics hankering. more

Bruno's new look and menu is most definitely worth checking out. The southern tapas meet all diners needs and wants. The menu has something wonderful for everyone and you cant beat a great meal with free music to follow. Pros: good food, reasonble prices, cool atmosphere more

I'm reluctant to post this as it's still a secret, but what the hell. Monday nights at Bruno's is one of the coolest nights out in the city. First there's a DJ spinning great punk/Soul/R&B then there's a Jazz Quintet, then there's like this open Jazz Jam session. Best of all no one seems to know about it, so it's still super mellow. Go, get a fancy drink for cheap, sit in a big white leather booth beneath the fish tank, chill. more

The new menu at Bruno's is a huge improvement. The small-plate style was fun for our party and each dish was excellent. I loved the spruced-up southern food with modern twists and the service was impecable. The new layout really brings the place together! Pros: Great service, Yummy food, Cool atmosphere more

$19.95 two-course menu along with unlimited wine every Mon-Fri is a steal. Food is terrific, music is great. Love the fried Calamari. The grilled tuna special over a bed of potato salad and Putanesca sauce is to die for. The old fashioned Ciopino is tasty and hearthy. They are pleasantly roomy, darkish and romantic.
