Excellent overall experience 1/16/2014

Box home load is THE BEST. I refinance my old home couple years back and were very satisfied and thus I financed my new home with him. Kevin and Tris were so helpful and making the whole loan process smooth and simple. more

The best 1/13/2014

Box Home Loans are the best. I didn't expect my loan process to be as fast and easy as they make it for you. They provide very competent rates and closing costs. I was able to get my loan in 2 weeks and I ended up paying less than 1k for the whole thing. Thanks to Shelley and Heather, I hope you are there next time I need a mortgage loan. more

Great rate at low cost 1/8/2014

The process was smooth and contact was made if items were missing or needed clarification. However, the only complaint was the lack of contact at the end of the process. No contact was made to verify the loan funded or to indicate payoffs. In addition, access to the loan process at their website was terminated without warning. more

Very easy to upload the required documents. Our processor Heather Moody was very easy to work with and she explained every step and followed up often. 1/8/2014

BHL 15 year refinance 12/16/2013

I recommend BHL to anyone looking for a new mortgage or refinance partner. I previously shopped Chase Mortgage, Quicken, and a couple other big names and took a chance by doing business with BHL for the first time. The experience was great. The rates were as promised as were the fees. The closing was straightforward. More importantly, at the end management at BHL reached out personally to see how things went. They listen and act. You can't find a more trustworthy and straightforward business than this one. more

Made big promises; KEPT THEM ALL! Highly recommended. 12/16/2013

I was a first-time homebuyer and had procrastinated in picking a lender. 3 weeks to closing and I finally signed with Box, and they said they could get me clear to close with a week to spare. Low and behold, they made it happen! Great customer service and attention to detail. Everything went smoothly. I will use Box again and recommend them to family and friends. Cheers, Andi more

This was a great deal! However I did need to request updates and several went without a response until tgey needed something from me and I brought it up again on a call. I would use them again simply because the deal was exceptional for us and they did close very quickly. Overall thanks! more

Refinance 12/11/2013

We had a phenomenal experience! Our refinance closed in just over 2 weeks... it was unbelievable. I had the best service, it was just unreal. What made my decision to use Box was when my representative emailed me that the rates dropped, none of the other companies I inquired with did that. Thank you, thank you, you guys are the BEST!! more

Getting Pre-Approved and using Home Scouting got me the home I wanted. 11/14/2013

Box Home Loans is amazing! Thankfully, they recommended I get pre-approved before looking for a home to purchase. They sent my documentation to an underwriter and I was able to know with confidence that I really was approved, as in underwriter approved with only one condition, find a home within the approved purchase price. They suggested I use Home Scouting to find the right home and I loved it. The “Quick Alert” email gave me the advantage of being first in line for new listings. This came in handy when I found the perfect home and there were multiple offers the first day it hit the market. Thanks to my fast acting Realtor and the Box Pre Approval I won the bidding war for the home of my dreams and I negotiated a quick closing. Needless to say I could not be happier with Box Home Loans! Things went so quickly I could hardly believe it when I was already signing the closing papers. more

I have used Box home Loans twice and in the process of getting an other home mortgage from them. They're staff has been helpful with figuring out the complicated process of getting a home loan. I have compared rates and no one else has come close to their quotes on closing costs and rates. I highly recommend them. more

Hard to beat rates, quality service 9/24/2013

We had a mostly great experience with Box Home Loans when closing on our new construction home. As long as you are responsive to their requests for info, things move along in a timely manner. Everyone was friendly and checked in with us regularly. We recommend them and would use them again. We did have an issue where my wife's name was removed from the title at closing even though we had completed paperwork to the contrary. Box tells us that the legal review in our state (TX) may have caused that. We still aren't sure how it happened. So be vigilant about that-- it was too late for us to backtrack by the time we found out. Aside from that, no other complaints. more

Box Home Loans has been our only mortgage company for several years now. Each time they exceed our expectations in getting our loans processed. On our most recent refi, they had the entire process done in days and they sent someone to our home on a Saturday to sign closing documents! more

This company is without doubt the best service company I have ever dealt with. The process was explained fully and clearly. Each required document was looked over promptly to determine completeness.
