I really enjoyed having Box Home Loans service my loan needs. This is my 4th home purchase and first time using Box. I like having the online document upload capabilities and status. More than that though, the staff is very friendly and they stay on top of requirements and changes along the way. more

Box Home loans offered the best interest rate and lowest costs I could find. Overall I had a good experience. Pros: User-friendly website. Easy to upload necessary documents. Generally quick to respond to questions/issues. Rates and fees very competitive. Closing costs as a whole very competitive. Cons: Double charged me for appraisal, awaiting refund check. Up front payment of appraisal and credit report. Appraisal also billed during closing. If I hadn't actually read the documents at closing I would have lost an extra $450. Both fees somewhat higher than competitors. High PMI on conventional loan compared to some other lenders. Processed felt a bit rushed. Very steep fees if you do not close within 30 days (which thankfully I did). Overall I would recommend Box Home Loans. No one else was able to beat the overall mortgage cost that Box offered. I only wish things didn't feel so rushed suddenly at the end of the 30 day period, the credit report was less expensive and there weren't very steep fees to go even a day past 30 on your rate lock. Oh and don't charge a fee in closing you already charged to your customer's credit card. more

I really like the straightforwardness of Box Home Loans. I especially like the web site and seeing what needs to be done and by who. This is such a difference from other lenders. Including our initial home purchase, we have dealt with this process 7 times in refinances or attempts to. None of the other 6 lenders can compare to Box. I'll no longer bother with other companies as they don't see value in the customer. more

I was able to refinance my current mortgage in under 30 days and got a good rate with reasonable refinance costs. I really liked the website and it made it easy for me to provide them with refinance documentation. The staff was very courteous and quick to respond to all questions and inquiries. more

They assign various staff to carry the application through different stages. It made the process quite personalized and efficient. I would highly recommend Box Home Loans to anyone considering a new loan or refinance. My experience with them was fantastic. Each step of the way they communicated what was needed and were very quick to respond to questions. Our loan from start to close took about 4 weeks and accomplished everything we wanted. The fees were much lower than tradtional mortgage brokers or banks and the service was better. If you have any concerns about an online process they are unwarranted. The system Box uses is fast, effecient and consumer friendly. Please give them a chance. You will save money and not be disapointed. more

Box Home Loans did an excellent job for home loans except the Closing Agent who comes to house for signing off loan docs; need to spend more time to explain the loan docs (Do not be so rush). more

I stated off with CHASEhuge mistake, it was a nightmare. I have 65 equity, earn six figures and have an 800 credit score wonder how they treat folks less fortunate. A co-worker told me about Box Loans went on line which was weird for an old guy but within 5 weeks I was done! No drama no hassel and a better rate. I cant really convey how good they made me feel. Im just sorry I lost the application fee of $460 from CHASE more
