Easy to follow process, good customer service, great rates and value 5/8/2013

This is the second time we've used BHL to refinance our home. The requirements are reasonable (primary residence, 740+ credit score, etc), to get great rates/low fees, and quick processing. It took 3 weeks from start to finish. I have, and will continue to, recommend BHL. more

Range of documents required burdensome and unnecessary 5/7/2013

The biggest obstacle was a home equity loan and line of credit that we paid off and closed before we made application for their loan. We did not want to go through the hassle of subrogation. They required information of what funds we used to pay off this loan (under $10,000). We sent them bank statements showing the accounts it came from that the bank provided to us. These were not sufficient for their purpose. After 30 pdf uploads of files, many of them several pages, I said "That's enough; no more." They chose to close my file more

Amazing! The only one small complaint. 5/6/2013

I wish they would have given us a little more notice on the final balance to pay the title company. I had less than an hour to get to the bank to get a check. Otherwise they are all amazing! Highly recommend. more

Love the service! If you don't want to pay unnecessary fee and want the best service without all the "junk" fees, this is the lender to go with. Having good credit score does pay off after all. All the staff are very helpful and courteous no matter who I reached when my loan officer and processor are not available to speak. Thank you Korin and Heather for your excellent services...you made my refi process soooo easy!! more

Great Experience 4/18/2013

I would highly recommend. I liked the low fees and how quickly the loan closed. We had one issue that came up where there was some misinformation given. It created some inconveniences for me, but Box Home Loans made up for it by offering to pay for a lock extension if we did not close on time. I thought that was a very nice gesture. We did not need to take the offer as Box Home Loans closed and funded the loan on time. I liked the constant communication. The website was very user friendly. I love the ability and ease to upload documents. I would use their service again. more

Can't close on time. Almost cost us our home. 4/17/2013

Hate to admit the Realtor was right, but next time, I'll use a real bank. more

Awesome customer service and even better communication. 4/7/2013

We closed in 22 days. That being said, any hiccups experienced during the process were incidental and completely manageable. The loan processors were very professional and knowledgeable. The website was also very handy to see what stage the loan was in. I would recommend Box Home Loans to anyone looking for a quick, professional and inexpensive refinance. more

Second Time worked great 4/3/2013

We have refinanced with Box twice now. The first time didn't go all that well because our loan officer had family issues that delayed our refinance. But this time, we did everything in less than 3 weeks! They called us almost everyday to make sure everything was going along okay. more

Best Mortgage Experience Ever 3/31/2013

Box Home Loans exceeded any other lender in all aspects of the mortgage process that I have done business with in over 30 years. What you see on the Box website on that given day is real. There are NO junk fees. The idea of an online lender seemed flaky but Kevin put my skepticism to rest. He explained the process and timetable and the loan closed in 24 days. The key to getting a loan done quickly is that you must be organized. If you can turn around all documentation requested in 48 hours, you're there. I looked at other online pricing and the lenders that bombard us with advertising on TV and radio were just as expensive if not more that a store front (bank) mortgage. My prior lender gave me a quote bloated with points and junk fees. Thanks to Kevin, Andy, Warner and a few others that made this an enjoyable experience. Box Home Loans is the only deal for me in the future. more

Over all was a great rather easy experience. 3/20/2013

We found Box Home and their reps incredibly on target as to costs, efficient when came to getting items completed and supportive when we had questions or concerns. There were no hidden costs. Our closing was a dream and very convenient (coming to our home). Maybe the final check could have been wired to our band........instead of waiting for the time span for the mail delivery. Other than that, was great and will recommen Box Hom to anyone I know is considering refinancing. Thanks for all the help!! more

Great pricing and great service! 3/19/2013

I was really happy with Box Home Loans. I rarely give 100 happy reviews just because I set high expectations. But I couldn't find one reason to dock their review. Pricing was great, their website is great and their promptness and informative team always had an answer to all my questions. Good job Box! more
