FAST & AFFORDABLE 3/31/2009

I originally got a quote from FlatRate that I thought was the norm. About a week or two later, since I still didn't sign with them, they dropped their price. Professional and polite 11/26/2008

I had to move out of my apt urgently and didn't trust no company. Since the beggining of my bussiness with Ben Hur i knew i was working with a reliable company. I schedule for a estimator come to my house and he was so polite and was able to give me a very fair price. They even call me to confirm my move eventhough i should had beeb the one calling them. On the day of my move the guys were about 10 minutes late but the extraordinary job they performed on my move was more than enough to compensate their lateness. Everything went smooth and fast. FAST, RELIABLE,EFFICIENT 9/22/2008

Movers were fast , efficient and reliable. The guys were very helpful, they even helped me pack items that were not scheduled to be moved. I have a lot of antiques and everything was very well taken care of everything was moved and put on place at my new apt. I can't complaint i had an extraordinary service for a very low cost. Best Movers Ever 9/2/2008

I have used many other moving companies before but using this Ben Hur was the best choice i ever made. I moved from Staten Island to Manhattan and it was my faster, smooth and comfortable move ever. Since the beggining everything was easy, i had a very considerate estimator and movers were helpful, responsive and very professional ( i feel i had he best team). I highly recommend Ben Hur. Best prices, good service! 8/6/2008

I was skeptical when Ben Hur's estimate was $700 cheaper than the other places (who all warned me about places that would charge me extra, after my stuff was already on the truck). But they were GREAT! So much cheaper than every other place I called (including Man with a Van on Craigslist). They moved furniture from my studio for just over $400 (other estimates were as high as $1,200--shockingly.) I work for a non-profit, so I wanted to keep costs way down and just have them move furniture--no boxes. They showed up right on time, didn't stop for lunch, and even helped me move a few extra items despite my protest (I was afraid they'd charge me more). There were no hidden costs and they were very careful with all my furniture--wrapped it, etc. Not the chattiest guys I've ever met, but nice enough. And VERY hardworking. Broke my door, never came to fix it after 4 phone calls 8/1/2008

Ben Hur moved my girlfriend and me both into our new apartment. They broke the front door in the process. I called and spoke with Hector in the maintenace department at Ben Hur to see if the door could be fixed. He said ""we broke it, we fix it."" He said someone would be out to fix it, then called and rescheduled, then the guy never showed, we rescheduled, he never showed again, and a week later the door never is not fixed. Hector claims to not be able to get in touch with the guy in the field to fix the door. more

BEST MOVING COMPANY 8/21/2007

Let me begin by saying this was by far the best moving experence i have ever had. Not only were the guys professional but they were also polite and very kind.The price was fantastic the dispatchers were kind and also the customer service department was great i had a lot of valubles and they wraped them up very good i was surprised at how the whole move went so smooth i would let everyone know about my best moving experence,.Thank you ben hur.. EXCELLENT MOVING EXPERIENCE!!!!! 8/3/2007

This is the third time I have used Ben Hur. Every experience has been GREAT!! The movers arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time. My move was going to NC and the Long Distance Department was always on point with every step of my move. Winnie was so courtesy and professional with sincerity. Ofer was always responsive with follow ups. This experience made me feel secure from start to finish. My other experiences was also, GREAT!! Beeeeeeeest Experience ever. 3/13/2007

I had to do a last minute move. I was some what scared because i didn't have much time so i had to set the move with the first company. I had to go into storage after the movers arrived at my new address because the apartment was not ready and thought it was gonna cost me a fortune. Gladly, my stuff got into storage and to my new home in perfect condition, the price was more than decent, the movers were on time for the pick up, professional and very helpful, they had alot of patience with my unexpected situation. The guys for my delivery were awesome, they even help me reassemble my bed and other articles, all this with no extra cost and and thats without mentioning that i had already explained to the movers that all i had was $20 left for tip. I have no woeds to describe Ben Hur services. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!! Pros: Excellent Job more

fast reliable movers 9/5/2006

Moving with Ben Hur was the best experience i've had after moving with a few other companies. I finally found one that accomplished all my needs, the movers were very professional, helpful, punctual and energetic, i had the best service when trying to get information about the move date, prices and last minute requirements. Unlike other companies, they were interested on making me happy even after the move. The last thing i expected was a call from the company just to ask about the move and Ben Hur wasn't only about the business but also about making me feel it was not only about the bussiness but the desire to keep a customer happy. Best moving company I have ever used, great customer service and very organized. 8/10/2006

As you all know, the thought of moving is extremely STRESSFUL! At first I was a bit shaky, but after speaking with my estimator and with the dispatchers I became more confident. I recently moved from New York, NY- Tampa, FL and recieved my shipment with no problems, in a timely manner, and without DAMAGES! I would advise everyone to use Ben Hur Moving & Storage whenever they want to move. Pros: Thumbs Up more

Besides for a 2 hour arrival delay move was good 1/2/2006

I was skeptical about ben hur for my office move being that their binded quote came out 30% below their closest competitor but I decided to go with them anyway. It was supposed to start at 8:30 - they got there at 10:30. Dispatch was nasty and not helpful when inquiring about the delay but at the end of the day movers were professional and effiecient and completed the move within my specified time. Ben Hur is good - its a fact! 12/9/2005

My wife and I have used Ben Hur moving 3 times in the last 5 years. Ben Hur moved us first from a 1 bedroom to another 1 bedroom apartment. Than when our son was born, from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment. Last month following our daughter birth, from the 2 bedroom apartment to our 3 bedroom apartment. Each time they were punctual and professional. The foreman was very helpful and the team friendly. Ben Hur always honored the written price that they gave us and never tried to hit use with ungentlemanly hidden charges. We recommended and will continue recommending Ben Hur to all our friends and we are planning to use them for our next move to our dream house. Pros: responsive, fixed price, professioanls more

Worst moving company I have ever used 11/14/2005

First of all they were two hours late for my appointment, then they got two parking tickets because they didnt' read the signs. When they went to drop off my stuff they got lost, in Queens. I am sorry but if you call yourself a moving company should you have some directions as to where to go and if you dont' know ask??? Pros: storage in transit Cons: slow, late, lazy workers more
