staff is nice, but very inexperienced.. If you want to be pampered and have confidence in your service go elsewhere.. Pros: clean Cons: inexperienced staff, unorganized

Unethical 2/25/2010

I have been a client of one of the nurses at this facility for years I called the front desk requesting this nurse by name they said she was available and I made my appointment with her, so I thought. I came in for my appointment on the specified day and time and when the nurse came out to take me back for my appointment there was the other nurse that I have never seen before I asked where the nurse was that I usually see and they said she is no longer there. I asked why when I booked why didn't they tell me that she wasn't there any longer? She said oh we have the same name. I know for a fact that this nurse that was standing before me had a different name, and there she stands before me wearing a name tag with the old nurses name on it. WOW. I have heard of bait and switch but this sets a new record. They are supplying MEDICAL treatments and are deceiving people about who patients will be seeing. Needless to say I will not be going back and I will be telling everyone I can about this unethical situation Pros: none Cons: liars, tacky decor, rude staff more

Very accommodating 9/13/2009

I was looking all over Studio City, Sherman Oaks area to find a last minute bikini wax. Half of the places I called, there was no answer, the other half couldn't work with me. When I called Belle Visage, they put me on hold for a few seconds and came back to tell me they could take me in the afternoon. When I asked if there was anyway I could come in earlier, they said unfortunately I would have to be there in less than 5 minutes (luckily I was close!). I got there about 8 minutes later and Michelle took me in and, though in a hurry, wanted to make sure I was happy with everything before needing to shove me off for her next scheduled appointment. I will definitely go back when I can make an appointment and not have to squeeze myself in. Great people!!! Pros: good location, friendly staff more

I have been going to Belle Visage for years and love the staff!! With my personal experience, Tina has been very accomdating with my schedule and the staff treats you like family! In all of my years of going to Belle Visage for several different treatments, I have never known Belle Visage as a hair salon. SO I HAVE TO SAY SORRY DAVIDWILL. If you want to write a bad review in regards to personal attacks, you might want to research the company you're writing a review on! Pros: Friendly and Accomodating Cons: NONE more

Friendly Staff! 10/29/2008

I have been going to Belle Visage for about 3 years now. LOVE it!! The front desk is friendly and everyone there treats you like family!! I have experienced services with all of the nurses and have felt comfortable with all of them. I would suggest Belle Visage for medical and spa services to everyone I know in Los Angeles!!! more

Finally a great place I can trust. I've searched for the past 2 years and now I'm satisfied with all my spa needs. I read a negative review on the staff but on the contrary...I thought they were the sweetest ladies I've met in los angeles. Best facial!! and now I'm fully bare down there which my boyfriend loves. Don't be "haters" because the staff is really good looking. They put the beauty in beauty spa for sure. I guess I'm just a confident gal. I absolutely love belle visage. I recently went in because they we having a special on facials and it came with a free peel. My facial was great and my skin looks amazing! I've had so many complements on how good i look lately. Thanks belle visage!! :) more

I agree with all of the bad reviews about this place 7/1/2008

I have been to Belle Visage only once. I actually went on to CitySearch to review them PRIOR to me even going there, but decided to still give them a try. Their customer service is horrible, their RN is stuck up, and they would not return my call when I called to tell them that I had blisters on my bikini area caused by the laser hair removal I had done there. I will NEVER return, and hope whomever reads this will not make the same mistake I made. Pros: convenient in studio city Cons: RUDE, RUDE, RUDE - ALL AROUND! more

I don't know why there are any bad reviews about this place. They have the best staff and the best services. I always have so much fun when I go there. Can i just say that laser hair removal is the greatest invention of all time? the nurses are all really great and make me feel comfortable. Pros: Everything! This place has got to have the most horrible staff of any spa out there. They are rude & very inexperienced! The front desk & nurse were very very rude. I also had the worst laser treatment you could ever imagine there. I was burned severly on my underarms. I had to wear a sleevless shirt for 2 days in order for me to tolerate the pain after the treatment (and the temperature out was 50 degrees out!) SERIOUS SKINCARE, LOVELY STAFF 5/11/2007

There's nothing that irritates me more than to pay a fortune just to get "pampered." For today's spa prices, I want SERIOUS SKINCARE. I want to walk out and see/feel a visible difference. For my money, this is the most thorough facial in the skincare industry. I've always battled skin problems and after three years of getting facials at Belle Visage - my skin is the best it's ever been. People have even commented on my "great skin!" The pedicures are amazing too - ask for the glycolic acid treatment on your feet - they will never be softer or more beautiful. Michael gives a great pedicure - ask for him. Tina gives a wonderful facial. I LOVE THIS PLACE. THE BEST INVESTMENT IN YOUR SKIN YOU COULD EVER MAKE. Pros: great treatments, effective, soothing environment, smells great, family enviornment Cons: they book in advance for your favorite esthetician so call early more

Waste of Money for Spa Week 4/19/2007

They rush trough your facial, and they do NOTHING you could have not done at home. They didn't even ask about my skin condition or if I had any allergies. I walked out with mascara smeared under my eyes. The facial was suppossed to be over an hour, but I was out the door in 40 minutes. I really researched what med spa I wanted to go to...there seemed to be SOOO many options. I chose Belle Visage because I loved their website and the fact that they listed all their prices. Okay Facial Experience 10/10/2006

I received the Visage Contour Plus Facial. My esthetician had great pressure, but I felt lacked fluidity. Overall, the massage portion was very nice. The facial included microcurrent therapy which I've had many times before. This microcurrent session for some reason was quite painful. It felt like the metal parts above the Q-tips kept touching my skin and shocking it. I don't know if there's a certain technique, but in my other treatments only the moist Q-tips and not the metal parts were touching my skin. The bed was quite uncomfortable; it moved too easily with slight movement. The linens did seem rather dirty. I couldn't say if they were stained badly or just not changed period. more

Great Medi Service 9/22/2006

I love the results I got from a photo facial! I had some discoloration from sun damage and I heard about it on tv and I shopped around. Belle Visage had the best prices around and the place was awesome! Everybody was really nice and I couldn't be happier with the service. My skin has finally evened out and the discoloration is gone! : ) I would totally recommend them. more

laser hair removal - burning 8/29/2006

hey, I sent my mother to belle visage for laser hair removal on her face because I'd heard from a friend that she should see Nurse Jamie. My mother has naturally olive skin, very dark facial hair, has a bit of adult acne, and is prone to the hyperpigmentation (purplish post-acne marks). Although she couldn't make an appt with Jamie in a timely fashion (apparently Jamie is excellent and gets very booked up), she had one treatment with another nurse, and it went well; she was very happy. She returned for her second treatment, and they informed her that the previous nurse no longer worked there. She had a new nurse, who must have used a laser setting too high for her skin, as she came home with a scabbed burn (scabbing means 2nd degree right??) on each of the the dark hyperpigmented marks. Luckily her normally pigmented skin was unaffected and thank God the burns healed with no scarring. But it terrified me and I felt horrible about recommending the place to her. more

Bedside manner second to none! 8/18/2006

Nurse Jamie Rocks! I've been to a lot of medi spa's and delt with a lot of RN's and Nurse Jamie at Belle Visage is by far the best I've ever had. Everything is so painless and simple and she is just a delight to be around. She has my vote for the finest medical technician in the country!! more
