hey, I sent my mother to belle visage for laser hair removal on her face because I'd heard from a friend that she should see Nurse Jamie. My mother has naturally olive skin, very dark facial hair, has a bit of adult acne, and is prone to the hyperpigmentation (purplish post-acne marks). Although she couldn't make an appt with Jamie in a timely fashion (apparently Jamie is excellent and gets very booked up), she had one treatment with another nurse, and it went well; she was very happy. She returned for her second treatment, and they informed her that the previous nurse no longer worked there. She had a new nurse, who must have used a laser setting too high for her skin, as she came home with a scabbed burn (scabbing means 2nd degree right??) on each of the the dark hyperpigmented marks. Luckily her normally pigmented skin was unaffected and thank God the burns healed with no scarring. But it terrified me and I felt horrible about recommending the place to her.
