So happy with my Visage Contour 8/16/2006

Wow is all I can say about my facial, I had a Visage Contour with Dominiuqe the other day. She made my skin absolutely glowy and I haven't felt so good in awhile, as I've been sick. She made me feel 10000% better. Kudos. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to try some other stuff at the spa. Pros: Amazing Visage Contour facial, pretty fountain in reception area. Cons: None more

Poor Customer Service and Dirty Rooms 8/11/2006

I went to Belle Visage last week to get a facial and waxing treatment. I arrived 15 early for my appointment and ended up having to wait 30 because Janna was running behind. When I finally got to the room my feet got all sticky due to left over wax on the floor. SO GROSS!!!! My facialist kepted leaving the room and I could hear her in the hall way chating with someone. When I got done I spoke to Jenn who acted like it was her first day there. Very poor customer service, receptionists look very unprofessional, hair unkepted and dirty clothes. I would never go back. WORST SPA I EVER WENT TO. Pros: NONE Cons: no parking, facialists seem like they just graduated from school. more

Best Day Spa in LA 7/16/2006

To me, Belle Visage is easily one of the best day spas in all of Los Angeles, and I've been to a lot of them! Services I have done there regularly include massage, facials, laser hair removal. My husband and I recently had a couple's massage and it was heavenly. Tina K's facials keep my skin looking amazing even though I've had skin problems in the past. Try and get an appointment with her if you can because believe me, she is worth the wait! Nurse Jamie is hands down the best in laser hair removal and contrary to a reviewer below, they have kept all of my laser settings on file since day one. Overall, I've never had anything but excellent service there and I look forward to my next appointment! Pros: Excellent staff, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, good prices. Cons: None. more

Laser hair services 7/12/2006

I'd waited awhile for laser hair removal, and I'm glad that I waited. I found Belle Visage, and what a good experience. One of the nurses, Kari, made me feel completely at ease during the process, cause I was SO nervous, oh my. Hooray for no more shaving and waxing, I can't wait to not have to think about it anymore. Pros: Very friendly staff, convenient appt times Cons: I wish I had enough money for all the services! more

Great one-stop shopping 7/12/2006

Belle Visage is my one-stop spa! A gf recommended this spa, and ever since last year, I've been hooked. Not only do they offer the newest and most effective treatments around, but the staff is very personable. Jamie helps keeps me looking younger, Janna is the go-to woman for any products and microdermabrasion I need, and every experience I've had has been nothing short of awesome. I'm usually fit in when I need to be there in a pinch, which is so difficult to do when you have a hectic schedule like mine. Thanks BV! You'll be seeing a lot more of me and my friends. Pros: Terrific schedule accommodation, variety of services, good products. Cons: Limited parking, but this is Los Angeles, after all. There are decent street spaces. more

Bad experience!!! 6/5/2006

Hi i am only writing this to save anyone from the horriable experience i had with Bella Visage Spa. I had the Aluma treatment done at the spa the girl who did it was very nice but kept rubbing the gel in my eyelids with the instrument my eyes swelled up like a balloon! I asked the girl at the front desk if this was normal and she said "i guess" This is a very expensive treatment which was a special gift from my husband. I called the spa to let them know what had happened and to ask if i could just change my remaining two aluma treatments and they refused to give me a credit or refund and the owner left one message on my answering maching saying i should just change the girl who did it! I was so disapponted. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Pros: none Cons: inexperienced staff, bad customer service more

Very odd record keeping 5/6/2006

I went for laser hair removal and forgot to ask what settings were used. When I called back a few days to ask they told me the nurse doesn't write it down on your chart. I asked how does she know what to setting to use next time. She said, "oh she just knows" So the nurse has an unbelievable memory! I've had laser hair removal at three different places and they all write it down. So to all - I would ask while she does it or you can just rely on the nurse having a great memory. Pampering and relaxing facial 7/25/2005

I had my first facial at Belle Visage in March of 2005. Carmen, one of the Estheticians, gave me one of the most relaxing, yet clinical facials I have ever received, and I've been getting facials for most of my 70 years. When I left Belle Visage, my skin was glowing and I was rested. This young lady has "magic hands". I highly recommend Belle Visage and its highly trained staff to anyone looking for a results-oriented facial that is pampering too. more

Fantastic customer service 5/3/2005

I sent an out-of-town guest here based on the reviews and she said it was fantastic. She was pregnant and found out the day of the massage that it would be a guy doing it. She freaked out and even though it was a Saturday, Lauren, the receptionist, found a woman to come in and do the massage. My guest went for a facial and a pedicure as well and she said they had lunch brought to her in between appointments and treated her very well, even though she had called them in a total panic the morning of the massage. I was given a gift certificate for this spa. I called ahead and asked if they had robes for big women, they said yes. They lied. The whole experience was humiliating. more

I found Carmen to be a miracle worker on my skin. Her experience and expertise are A++. It is a great pleasure to come to Belle Visage and she is a great addition to the professional staff there. First Facial 3/7/2005

I have worked next to Belle Visage for years and have been meaning to visit for quite some time. I finally made an appointment for a facial, which I have never had done before. Carmen greeted me and took me to a private room. The room was very comfortable. Carmen took her time to tell me what exactly what whe would be doing. Before applying each chemical she told me what it was and how it would feel going on. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Pros: clean, quiet, friendly more

What can I say but tell you that this is not only a wonderful and healthy treatment, but Carmen made the visit that much more valuable. She is professional, poised and knows her business. Not only is she great at what she does, but her recommendations are tailored to each individual, not a generic thing at all. She takes great pride in her work and conducts herself in an easy going, yet professional manner. I know so much more about how to best care for my skin and how to best take the time to maintain things. I can't wait for my next appointment and should be in there again on a monthly basis. I have only had one laser hair removal treatment so far but I am more then thrilled with the results. The nurse who did the procedure (Marcella) was awesome. She took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel very comfortable as it can be a bit of an awkward situation (depending what you are getting done). Again I am really happy with the results. more

Great spa, but DISAPPOINTING nail salon! 2/27/2005

I had been to Belle Visage previously for other treatments and had a good experience, but was incredibly disappointed with the service at the adjoining nail salon. Online, the pictures looked very spa-like, but when my mother and I arrived for our manicures and pedicures there were only two pedicure chairs (which were in fact benches) and my mom had her pedicure done in a plastic bucket on the floor. If the finishing product hadn't turned out so nice, we would have complained more about the lack of luxury. Not relaxing. Pampered me!!! 1/23/2005

Sunday afternoon at Belle Visage was exactly what I needed. I am 5 months pregnant and dying of back pain. Albert, the masseuse was the best! He is very knowledgeable, helpful & great at giving pregnancy massage. Jenna gave me a great facial! I felt really relaxed walking out of there with their protein drinks very refreshing. I highly recommend it! Thank you, Mom of 1 1/2 kids. more

Charming and relaxing spa experience! 1/3/2005

Belle Visage was a wonderful experience. I went last Sunday (yes, opened on Sundays) when it was raining out and needed a little bit of a pick me up. The great service started when I simply called to book an app't for a facial....the woman was so helpful and booked me an app't. Once I walked in, I was warmly greeted and loved the serene decor of the spa. My esthetician, Jamie, was such a delight. She was so nice and knowledgeable. Heaven on Earth 11/10/2004

This was by far, one of the best spa-experiences I've ever had. Everything from the staff to the decor is designed to send your mind, body and soul on a mini-vacation. There is a great varaiety of treatments and the staff is not "salesy" at all. I can see why so many women are so loyal to this spa. Pros: friendly , peaceful, great service more
