I have had three Hondas and used to always go to Beaverton Honda until I discovered that Wilsonville Honda charges less and has a much more knowledgeable staff. I will only go to Beaverton Honda if necessary, I am tired of their lists of things I need to get done that usually amount to 1000.00 or close every time! I have spent so much money there over the years that I could have saved going elsewhere. more

Very upset. Our Honda FIT now has 75K miles and so it is recently now past warranty. The engine light comes on, and now we find ourselves with a $1,000 repair bill (and they couldn't fix it the first time we brought it in, so we had to return it the next day). Why did we buy a Honda? Because of their reputation for quality. Obviously, that went out the window. Next time I'll buy Hyundai since they can guarantee their cars for 10 years, 100K miles. more

To start, I am mechanically inclined, and have performed plenty of work on Hondas, Toyotas, VWs, etc. Trouble is, I live in an apartment which has rules against extensive automotive work. My car was due for a timing belt change. However, before doing so, I wanted a compression check done to ensure the health of the engine prior to dropping money on maintenance. Since Beaverton Honda is near my house, I called and explained that I'd like to have a compression check performed because I'm interested in a future timing belt job. They quoted me $100 over the phone, which is their minimum fee. A few hours after I brought it in, they called me and said there's about $4000 in work that needs to be done, including stuff that had recently been changed. For instance, he said my spark plugs were shot and plug wires were swollen; both were new. After running off a list of bogus repair needs, the salesman had to abruptly get off the phone and said he'd call right back. An hour went by so I called them. I said I'd like to get my car, and the salesman told me it was on the lift, and the technician was 30 minutes into performing the work, and that the engine was already opened up. I said I never authorized any work, and that I'd like them to return my car to me. When I picked it up, they tried charging me for parts I didn't approve of (such as a radiator cap). They gave me attitude when I told them I didn't approve the parts, and will not pay for them. Again, I am mechanically savvy... why would I pay for a radiator cap? So I bring the car home, and inspected my engine. The engine was never opened up as they claimed... the old gasket sealant was still intact and undisturbed. My rear driver side window no longer worked when the car was returned. As a final insult, they never provided the values for my compression check, which is why I brought it there in the first place. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. more

Easy Buying Experience 9/13/2011

Beaverton Honda went to work right away to make our buying experience quick and easy. They stayed open 2.5 hours past closing time for us and they offered us the most on our trade (by $2,000) than other dealers were willing to. Also, and most importantly, they met the price that we were willing to pay for our 2011 Honda Odyssey. The sales people were personable and outgoing, not stiff and secretive. The finance manager that we worked with was rock solid and went above and beyond to answer questions and provide information. Would definitely purchase there again and recommend others to do the same. You won't be disappointed. more

Great Service Team service! 9/1/2011

I've always had great service form Lanphere's Honda in Beaverton! Just had my 2000 CRV serviced and the team was terrific. My service tech, Johah, walked me through everything and made me feel very comfortable about the work that was done, and even made some suggestions for additional work that may be needed shortly. They even dropped me off at my work! more

Amazing Leasing Experience 8/23/2011

I just leased a new Honda from Bob Lanphere's, and I'm telling everyone I know about my great experience. Usually, car buying/leasing sends me into a panic attack, but my sales representative, Matt Garner made it painless. He called me to schedule a good time for me to stop by; then when I explained that my husband and I were looking for the most economical leasing option, he showed us several models and explained the leasing options for each. We ended up getting an amazing deal on a new Accord, and throughout the whole process, we never felt misled or duped. I've had absolutely maddening experiences at other dealerships, only to walk away feeling like the idiot of the century, but at Bob Lanphere's you actually feel like they want you to find what you're actually looking for. What an amazing sales philosophy! Matt Garner is fabulous, and so was everyone else I spoke with, including management and financing. I'm a Bob Lanphere's customer for good. more

GREAT SERVICE ALL AROUND 7/9/2011

From the time I walked into the showroom, it was a very pleasant experience. There was no pressure, no games and no drawn out negotiations. My sales person found the CRV I wanted and it was delivered the next day. The 1.90% rate is a steal. Purchasing a new vehicle is stressful(it's a huge financial commitment) yet Beaverton Honda staff made it as painless as possible. I would recommend them to all. more

I got screwed!!! 6/11/2011

I took my honda 2 hp outboard engine in because there was just a little water coming out of the top exhaust port. at idle, and at higher power settings, there was no water coming out. Chad, told me that it needed a new impeller. After $198, Chad told me that there would be just a little water coming out at idle, and at a higher power setting, there would be no water coming out, and this was normal. In other words, there was nothing wrong with my engine, but instead of telling me this, Bob Lanpheres beverton honda chose to put in a part that was not needed. When I asked about it, Paul the service manager said I could bring it in and they would put in the old impeller but they would still charge me $90. In other words rather then tell me that there was nothing wrong with my engine, Bob Lanphere's Beverton Honda chose to take advantage of me and change out an impeller that was working perfectly, and put in a new one. DISHONEST !!!! If you use them, make sure you know what is really wrong with your equipment, The will not tell you the truth. The are all about money, and don't care who they hurt in the process!!!! Be careful when you deal with them and be suspisious of what they tell you. Get a second opinion!!! more

Great Buying Experience 6/8/2011

I test drove a couple cars over the weekend and settled on a 2007 CRV. The CRV was more than what I had expected and not something that I originally thought of purchasing. The salesman was great to work with and he was able to provide the information that helped in the decision for purchasing. The other staff members were as helpful and up front with the information that we needed to get the process done. The overall process did not seem to take long at all. The waiting room was real comfortable and was able to watch some baseball game while waiting. The CRV was our third purchase from Beaverton Honda. My wife is already planning on the next purchase in a few years. more

Fantastic service 4/21/2011

I purchased my 2007 Civic new at Beaverton Honda and had a painless experience, and have taken my car in for service there ever since. With past autos I have chosen independent service shops, but now find myself returning again and again to Beaverton Honda for that which matters most to me - customer service. Yes they do a great job servicing my Civic, but their friendly attitude, attention to detail, and timeliness keep me coming back. I would recommend them for both sales and service, and often do. Customer service is a dying art, and I love that Beaverton Honda strives to keep it alive. more

Beaverton Honda Service 4/8/2011

Beaverton Honda has provided all of the service for our 2005 Accord since we purchased it new. We have always been pleased with the service. They have maintaind accurate records and provided good service statements ? which are helpful when looking back to past work. My wife usually takes our car in and they always give her a courtesy shuttle ride back home if the service will take awhile. The waiting room is always clean and comfortable. We also appreciate the email notices of upcoming services that are at a discounted price and receiving discount coupons for future service. more

I purchased my Honda from Bob Lanphere's Honda two years ago and their service department has always completed the all the required maintenance. The people in the service department are always very friendly, knowledgeable and will let me use discounts where applicable. Consistently excellent service 3/30/2011

We bought our Accord at Beav Honda in 1999, and have taken it there for service ever since. I believe the quality of service they provide is one of the main reasons we have 185,000+ miles on the car, and it's running like almost-new. Recently had the first major mechanical work done since we bought it (hey, seals and stuff are going to wear out eventually, even on a great car). Sean with the Blue Team was primo - everything done right on schedule, even saved us a few bucks (quite a few, actually) below the estimate we'd authorized. These folks are professionals in the best sense of the word. We won't even consider taking our car anywhere else for service. Tom & Evelyn Murphy more

I received a quote for a new honda that I was interested in from Linda in the internet dept and after a few attempts trying to reach her I was unable to. So I called the cell # that was in the email she had sent me...and I did not get a warm response. She was really rude and acted as though my questions on the vehicle were not important until I told her if the price was right I would buy the vehicle that night. Of course the tone changed but I was ready to hangup in the beginning. Here's a clue...if you don't want potential customers calling your cell phone # then don't include the # in your reply emails stating to call if I have questions. Duh!!! more

Beaverton Honda Service 2/28/2011

We have three honda's, that are serviced by Beaverton Honda. Last Saturday, February 26, took the 07 CRV in for service Jonah got on it immediately, with NO appointment call within 1 1/2 hour to pick the vehicle up. Today Monday February 28, our 07 accord had major melt down, the V-Tech switch failed on the Fremont Bridge, limped in at 1 pm Ben greeted us, again got on it call us, advising the problem, car was repaired on the road again in 2 1/2 hours. Sean has also helped out, all three are great service tech's. Just can't say enough how these three have helped us and really appreciate their smiles, and getting to the problem at hand. Amazing Customer Service and quality done right 2/28/2011

We have been utilizing Beaverton Honda since we purchased our Honda Pilot in 2009. They have been wonderful in all aspects of service, quality and timeliness of repairs. I have never felt pressured into any service request and was always treated like an ""Honda Owner"" not just someone coming in for a vehicle service. Most recently, I was informed that I needed to replace my rear shocks within 20,000 miles of last replacement. As you can imagine, I was surprised, but my service rep explained why and offered to take money off the amount for total install price due to my service history at Honda. They even quoted me a price for 4 new tires (beat Costco's price even with a NAMEBRAND tires) and told me I could probably wait a few months to do this - not pushy, but honest. We love Beaverton Honda! Thank you for being trustworthy and offering a fair price even during these tough times. You have a customer for life!! The Miller Family more
