Worst moving company ever. most of my stuff was broken including 40 inch tv, sofa, they lost 4 of my storage boxes, which had electronic stuff. also don't take insurance, they will just charge you for insurance, but wont take the insurance. waste of moneyyyyy....find somebody else better. more

There are many people with many opinions. So, if you ask many people then you will get many suggestions. So, better if you use your common sense and take your own decision. That is what I did while hiring the movers for my move. I checked the net, saw the ratings and reviews, called several companies and finally hired Alpine van lines for my move. The result of using Alpine van lines was more than just worthy. Their movers arrived on time and executed the move perfectly and within a very little time and charged me a very moderate amount. I would certainly suggest everyone to use Alpine van lines because these movers mean business. more

I must recommend Alpine van lines. To be honest, I didn’t trust the movers earlier. Recently I had to move my office to some other place. As it was an IT office, my office was full of sophisticated electrical equipment. I was really tensed about my stuffs because I needed to transfer all my stuffs within a short time. I have become a big fan of this wonderful moving company. I would say that I was lucky to have their service during my huge move. I am talking about a huge office move. I do have a big office of 27 employees and recently I changed my office at a different and better location. So, I needed professionals for the job. I checked the net, spent many hours reading the reviews and calling many moving companies but none were able to impress me. But when I discussed with their sales person, I realized that they are professionals. He was very responsive and also experienced. He asked me questions to know about my exact requirements, visited my place to get an idea about the nature of the move and offered me best deal among all other movers. I was quite sure of having a good service and I was more than just right. Movers came on time and they were well prepared to take the challenge. They were very focused, organized, polite, fast, methodical, innovative and hardworking. I was surprised to see the inventory after the move, nothing was missing or damaged or broken. This is the first time, iam writing a review online.\r I have never ever received such a worst service in my life.They are a big time money extortioners.\r My things were in Virginia and had already relocated to California. I asked my friend to be at the Virgina apt at the time to loading.The initial quote was given for 1500$, when they arrived to pick the items, they said inventory list provided is not correct and they will charge 3600$ for the things. The things missed in the inventory, were 2 side tables , 4 bags and a chair. Charging 2000$ more for that was too much.\r \r Movers said, the truck has cubic feet markers, after loading the truck, we will measure the cubic feet and charge.We said ok. After loading the items, cubic feet marker was at 350.We were thinking, they are gonna charge for 350 cubic feet, 4.75 $ per cubic feet, which is 350 * 4.75=1557.5 $. Instead they charged for 650 cubic feet,suddenly adding 300 cubic feet, saying 300 cubic feet for the extra space loaded above the drivers cabin.\r \r We tried to explain him, the space above the drivers cabin, was not even half the space occupied by loaded items. We asked them to charge at least half of 350 cubic feet for that extra space on the top of drivers cabin.\r Joshua, the mover over phone started shouting, saying the space above the drivers cabin is 300 cubic feet. Joshua started yelling at me, saying""Do you think iam lying? Do you think, i dont know the size of my truck??\r My friend said, ""Do you think, we dont have eyes?the truck is right in front of me, and the size of the space above the drivers cabin, is not 300 cubic feet .""\r Arguments went back and forth between me,moving company person Joshua and the company owner Yaron. I tried to explain them,and what they are doing is not fair. Joshua and yaron were shouting and yelling at me, thinking that by raising their voice they can get things their way. This argument went on for 3 hours over phone and i was physically and mentally exhausted.\r \r Since i was already in california, and could no longer keep the stuff Virginia, i had to move the stuff. I was in a tough situation,and had to agree to those movers. They took advantage of my situation.I cannot explain the mental agony i experienced that day, knowing the fact these movers are cheating me, but i was not able to do anything about it. when i asked them go back, even before loading the items,Joshua asked for 1000$ to go back, which was too much.\r \r I had to call them several times, to find the delivery date. Everytime i called Joshua, he would say, he was busy, as if iam begging for something from him. After many calls, got the delivery date.The things were deliverd after one month, but half of the stuff was broken. My 42"" inch Tv, glassware ,lampshades, sofa were damaged. The worst part is they dint even take the additional insurance which i had asked them to take, for which they charged me 350$. \r When i asked the insurance details, Joshua gave me a insurance policy number. When i called up the insurance company, they told there was no insurance taken in my name and also the insurance policy number , the moving company gave me was fake. The insurance company did not even have an insurance with that policy number. So now, i cannot even claim insurance money for my broken stuff. I ended up paying 4000$ to the movers , and had my stuff broken, so i have to buy them all new again, which is a waste of money. \r \r Dont go to alpine movers. You will end up losing money and all your stuff broken. \r They charged me 4000$ for 1500$ work. They try to lure you by giving a really low quote initially, and will charge you like hell, when they come to load your items along with a bad service and mental torture. I highly recommend you to AVOID Alpine Van lines for your moving. dont delete this review more

This is the best moving company I have ever experienced. Obviously I did use many movers because I do relocate a lot for the job that I do. Though I got some good experiences regarding professional movers but I never got a perfect move in the past. Yesterday when they took the charge of my move and delivered me everything that I asked for, I was happy like anything. They came with the packing materials, packed, moved and stored everything at the new place and charged a very moderate amount. I am very happy to have a stress free and timely move within my budget. I was worried about my glass ware, paintings, piano and crystal show pieces and they were also equally good to the task. Nothing was broken, damaged or missing. I thank their sales rep for a great offer and many thanks to the movers who worked their heart out for the safety of my belongings. I do appreciate their commitment and service. There are many moving companies available but very few are actually do what they claim. I do have some bitter experiences about the movers but this time I got the best possible service and price! It was really great to have Alpine van lines helping me moving my home. I did nothing but to watch. Movers were too good. They simply took the challenge and accomplished without a single error or confusion. They took very little time for the entire move and they also charged less than the original quote, which was an added bonus for me. I am very impressed with them and I would love to hire them again. more

I certify alpine van lines as one of the best movers of USA. I have been travelling around the world because of the nature of my job. So, using professional movers is not nothing new to me but receiving all my goods in one piece and without any damage and within the allotted time is something that never happened before with me. Alpine Van Lines guys were fabulous right from the beginning to end! From the word go, we found them careful and compassionate to our situation. My mother was disabled and husband had a bad leg. Knowing my helpless condition, the movers went just above and beyond to make things as easy as possible. They didn’t ever make me feel the heck of a moving. All taken good care off and the entire move was conducted in a smooth manner. On the day of moving, the mover came into my mom’s home, introduced with the family members and behaved politely. I always strive for the best. I only choose the best in everything. I thoroughly searched for the best moving company when I had my move last month. I asked a lot of people, searched the web and compared companies. I came up with two companies being the best and out of risk, I chose ALPINE van lines.
