honest affordable mechanic 8/18/2011

I have an '88 Toyota 4runner and I LOVE it! It's obviously old so needs a lot of maintenance. The only place I let touch my 4runner is Allied Automotive. They are quick, efficient, and extremely affordable which is the biggest perk for me since my truck needs a lot of attention. So if you are looking for an honest affordable mechanic this is the one to go to! more

When I need take my car to get serviced, I take it to Allied Automotive, they are so professional and helpful. They always tell me like it is. I know that when I leave my car in their hands that I can trust that the work will be done right. I won't trust any other mechanics. more

Seamless Experience 8/8/2011

I got into an accident and I needed someone to fix my front bumper. I took it into Allied Automotive because someone told me how good they did on their car. They were able to fix my bumper in less than a day and looks like nothing ever happened to it. I couldn't be more happy about how the whole experience was seamless. They mechanics were so friendly and willing to help. I will refer friends. more

I love Allied Automotive! They are ALWAYS so friendly and helpful. I go here all the time for various services, I have an older car that always seems to need something done. But I don't really mind because I found this place, where they make every service performed easy, simple, and quick! Not to mention the prices are great; which is what let's me keep coming back all the time. I have been a very loyal costumer and I will continue to be for lots of years to come! more

I Love Allied! 6/24/2011

I love Allied Automotive! They explain exactly what the problem is, what they need to do to fix it, and approximately how much it will cost, no baloney. The final amounts of my bill have always been close to the estimates. They are very knowledgeable and have lots of connections, so they get parts right away and can fix virtually any problem with just about any car. more

Their work is always quick, professional, and reasonably priced. They just replaced a tail light for me in 15 minutes for only $15. I will always take any car I own to Allied for service. more

Professional & Reliable 6/21/2011

On April 17th, 2011, my Grand Daughter asked me if I knew of a good auto repair service? I asked what type of problems was she having with her car? I learned that someone had put something in her gas tank, out of hate. On Monday, April 18th, 2011, I was told to contact ""Allied Auto Repair"" off Gilman Ave. in the city of Berkeley, which I did. Dave the owner, told me to have my Grand Daughter bring the car in for a diagnostic. Much to my surprise, on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 the car was repaired , and ready for pickup. The cost was affordable even for my Grand Daughter a college student. I would highly recommend ""Allied Auto Repair Service"" of Berkeley, California. The reason is simple. A dependable auto repair service is rare, and Allied Auto Repair proved to be professional & reliable. more

Honest! 6/15/2011

Allied Automotive and Dave Rice were friendly, knowledgeable, speedy, affordable and importantly, HONEST. I got a new windshield, oil change and filter, and air filters. I thought I needed an alignment but the team at Allied Automotive pointed to my under-inflated tires as the culprit. No need to do the alignment after all. I doubt you'd found such honesty at other shops around town. Will I be taking my car back to Allied Automotive for future service? Definitely. I've finally found a shop I trust. more
