The guy at the service desk runs you through so fast your head is spinning. I get the impression they have no patience when you try to explain a problem with your car. They need to slow down and listen to the customer before cutting him off. more

VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER ! I CANNOT RECOMMEND ! 4/28/2012

Not a good shop to bring your car. A days work takes several days. A preliminary quote ended up more than double in the end where they suggest many parts needing replacement. Their goal is to list you as many parts for replacement so they can charge you more on labor as well. Take note that ACA in corner WIllow & Clark is using generic parts. When you know that your car needs a good branded parts, bring it to your dealer service instead of ACA. The dealer may quote you $50-$100 more on parts & labor but your are certauin of the service. ACA is just an average or below average auto repair shot. I will not bring my car again at ACA automotive corner Willow & Clark, in Long beach CA. I am very dissatisfied !!! I cannot recommend this auto repair shop to anyone. Stay away from this dealer. Bring your money and business somewhere else where you can get the right return for your bucks. more

FINALLY HAVE FAITH 5/20/2010

The people are just amazing. When you enter threw the doors, you feel much better in the way that you are handled as customers. They take great pride in there work to get you to use them for the rest of time. As far as I'm concerned they have earned all my family's business. AAA RECOMMEND THAT I TAKE MY MERCEDES BENZ IN FOR A SCHEDULE 2 SERVICE. TO MY AMAZEMENT THEY PERFORMED THE SERVICE FOR ABOUT 30 PERCENT LESS THAN THE DEALER AND BY LAW MY WARRANTY IS COVERED. more

I was very pleased with my recent service at ACA. I had some concerns about my car, but they were resolved by very experienced mechanics who knew what to do. I recommend them highly. You will be satisfied with their ability to fulfill your expectations. more

Don't trust them! 2/26/2010

They charged me $60 for a service I didn't even want or need. I told them that my check engine light was on, and I already knew what was causing it. I just wanted to know how much it would cost to fix it. They went ahead and did an engine diagnostic EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY GOTTEN THE DIAGNOSTIC ELSEWHERE AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED. Both the service manager and general manager rudely insisted that they had discussed the price with me beforehand, but they did not. Cons: They only want your $$$ & don't care if ur satisfied or not! more

Adam and his staff are the most warmest, honest, and sincere people that i have ever met in the automotive business. You can rest assure that they will excede your expectations. Victor is a Great Service Rep! 10/20/2009

I live a few miles away and I will always take my car here for a diagnosis at least. I have had stuff repaired in the past and always get great service. My service rep this last round was named Victor. He is very pleasant and informative over the phone. I have had a good experience with this Repair Shop. And they were very understanding that I have decided to perform the repairs myself. Some shops will do anything to make you stay. more

I have been taking my cars to ACA for many years and have always been satisfied. They only go by the owners manual instead of selling me things that are not necessary. Its always a pleasure with the staff that also have been there for many years. Pros: clean, pleasant, quick service, shuttle Cons: need bigger waiting room more

Great service, quality repairs. Ive had routine service, as well as brake work, and timing belt replaced. These guys are fast , reasonable, and do good work. more

Earlier I had written a negative review for these guys. They are trying to rectify the problems so that is a good thing. They really do seem to be dedicated to making their wrongs right; lets hope that they come through. more

After giving up on the VW dealer, I was pleased to find ACA doing quality repair and maintenance work. Correctly diagnosed, quickly done, I got my car back with all described problems taken of, and at a reasonable price. more

Not Good 10/13/2008

I brought an old utility truck (not worth $1500) in for an oil change and to check out a leak. They came back with over $2000 worth of repairs. I laughed and had them fix the leak ($300). I took the truck home and coincidentally my truck did not start the next morning because my alternator mysteriously went out. Under warranty, they towed it back to the shop and said that it would cost me another $450. My choices were to donate it or have them fix it, which is what I chose. But even more insulting, they tried to sell me up again with another $1200 of new and additional repairs. \r \r Funny thing is that the truck was running fine when I pullled into the shop for the oil change. My problem with their conduct was that they knew the truck was not worth much, but they continued to look me in the eye and tell me that I should get the proposed repairs because of how nice my truck was. Their persistent sell-up tactic is annoying and insulting. more

This place rocks! Ive been going here for a long time and theyve always helped me out. Theyre service is exceptional, do quality work, are competent, honest and fair. Ive always worked on my own cars, but dont have the time anymore so I can tell when someone knows what tey are talking about! Ive tried a couple other shops in the long beach area and they all tried to BS about repairs that are ""needed"". I know how hard it is to find a good mechanic and know that once you have one you need to keep them. i would highly recommend them to anyone needed repair. Pros: fast, reliable, honest, fair Cons: theyre not right around the corner from me! more

Automotive that is actually GOOD 10/16/2007

I've taken my wife's car here, my son's car here, and my truck here. i've been satisfied everytime i go into the place, the guys up front are nice and always welcome customers when they walk in. Service is reliable and i would recommend it to everyone who needs something done to their car. more
