Perhaps it would be a good idea... 12/27/2011

I had a lovely massage there last week; however there were two pieces of the experience that could have been handled better. My appointment started over 15 minutes late and the person assigned to do my massage was not the person who did it. That in itself is not an issue, but no explaination was given and I was not asked if the change was ok with me. That courtesy should have been extended. I had to dig into the situation myself to find out what was going on. Also, there was no suggestion of rescheduling. I might have been prompted to make another appointment. Then my husband went there to buy gift certificates for the girls in his office. He has bought them there for several years. He asked if there was a "special" for which he could buy a gift card. He was told "no" and was turned away. If he could have bought a gift card for $150 each that is what he would have done. No one thought to suggest that. Another spa in town suggested that, and they sold 5 $150 gift certificates. more

My time with Meagan is a very personal time and she is soooooo receptive!!----and sooooo good!!!! GREAT stylist, GREAT friend!!! I've been going to her for a long time........ 1604 has a "quiet room" for those who just need a few extra minutes to rewind before leaving. My 30 min. nap there got me to the end of my day!!!! Exceptional Customer Service 12/16/2011

I recently had a color mishap and I can honestly say that the level of customer service I received from ALL of the staff at the salon was second to none! I was treated with the utmost respect throughout the process and everyone bent over backwards to be sure I was happy. This was one of the best experiences at a salon I have ever had! And, I have had my hair done by high-end professionals in New York, Raleigh and Virginia Beach. I am extremely pleased and have already referred several friends to the salon. I will not be getting my hair styled/colored anywhere else as long as I live in the area. Thanks especially to John, owner and artistic director, who was able to conceptualize my vision! more

Been here twice 12/5/2011

I have been here twice and had various services done however I believe it is below average for a day spa. Since there is not anywhere else to go in rocky mount that I like better I guess I will still go here or wait and take a trip to Winston Salem. I called saturday to ask a question and the person who answered was a little rude. I guess they were busy however that was no reason to be rude. Maybe they need more people to man the phones. more

You Missed a Sale, TWICE! 11/16/2011

I called in on Monday to schedule an appointment for a service I didn't know the name of. I spoke with the front desk and said that I wanted a conditioning treatment that would help to bring the shine up in my color. She said that sounds like a gloss. I asked a few questions and we scheduled the appointment. What I thought I was getting was the Keratin treatment. A treatment that is substantially longer lasting and more expensive. I do wish that I had gotten this because the gloss isn't that great. I also was told about a product that they were using on my hair... a Keratin spray. When I left to pay, no one brought it out for me to purchase and I left and forgot about it. I certainly would have purchased the products if they had introduced them to me. more
