Let me test my breath and confirm that I am in a cognizant state. I had been lost in a delirious dream, enthralled with what my body was show-and-telling me: LipoDissolve really is a long-awaited sweet reality, it really works! I have just completed round three of Misotherapy at Emerge Medical Spa (at Bridgeport Village, one of my favorite places) with Dr. Rajani (smolderingly handsome and charming, one of my favorite doctors). \r I had high hopes for Misotherapy. I mean, really, to melt away fat from a problem area you have fought valiantly for an eternity? Could it be? Yes! Dr. Rajani injects the solution into the specified area with a series of tiny shallow shots. Then you’re done until the next treatment (a minimum of 3 are recommended). A lifestyle exercise regimen is also recommended to accompany the treatment, as you will see more definitive results.\r \r The beauty of it, though, is that it hyper-accelerates over the physical possibilities by zapping those areas not generally assisted by aerobics or Pilates. Ever hear a trainer say, “Ok, now…double time on that double chin! Let’s go!” I thought not. All of my life I have hated pictures of myself because of my chin. After Misotherapy, that particular area of mine was so markedly changed that it turns out I am not entirely unphotogenic. Nor do I have as small a mouth as I previously thought. Pre-Miso, my mother thought the orthodontist of my youth had pulled too many teeth and ruined my only-as-a-mother-can-imagine photographic beauty forever. Not so! \r \r In addition to under my chin, Dr. Rajani sculpted my upper arms and outer thighs. I enjoyed equal success in both areas. Ah, how many more choices there are with sleeveless! How many more pants there are when fitted! Bottom line: Lipo Dissolve administered by Dr. Rajani at Emerge Spa worked. It gave me noticeable and measurable results.\r \r Another service offered is the Intense Pulsed Light. My IPL session was nothing but glorious, my esthetician, Julene, heavenly! I absolutely dozed off at one point. First, we inspected my face with the aid of a digital Visia representation. Here I was able to point out my main concerns, redness and broken capillaries. Julene confirmed that it would be her main objective to tackle those areas & was thrilled to have this task before her. Next, I was snuggling into the cushy, thickly covered space that was to be my bed for a bit, mmmmm. I must mention here that Julene has magic hands and long, strong fingers. Her welcoming neck and upper back massage was a truly joyful release. An ache I had been burdened with for months pleasingly disappeared. The pulsed light itself was not uncomfortable, in fact, it was rather inconsequential. Like the Misotherapy, it delivered the mojo I was looking for. \r \r My last delight so far has been with fillers, like Juvederm and Botox. Doctor Rajani performs these injections using his trained, gifted eye. It is a little pinch here, a poke there, but only one word comes to mind: ARTIST. Everyone agrees. Dr. Rajani really does invoke the art of sculpting into his practice.\r \r Emerge Medical Spa at Bridgeport Village makes for a distinctly memorable outing. It has achieved the iconic stature of “the Nordstrom” amongst its competitors. Upon entering, Brent or Darcy cheerfully greet me by name, offer me a nice choice of drinks and review my upcoming visit for that day. I am asked to wait a moment; I scan the non-advertised monthly offerings and take inventory of the truffles in the candy jar. With any luck I will get to wave “hello” to the lovely Joyce. She’s the one who hooked me up with Dr. Rajani in the first place. As I relax in the reception area, I am thrilled about what’s to come. Things are looking great for the day! After spending my precious time with the experts, I will Emerge…Beautiful.\r Pros: Friendly, great specials
